“I thought Erica was awesome! My dog did, too! Not only did she walk him, she allowed him to play with a lab of similar age & when my dog returned, he was actually exhausted!!! I thought it could not be done. Thank you, Erica! I highly recommend her!!!”

“Izzy was very sweet, prompt and communicative with pics and messages - one of my pups was a sad baby and wouldn’t come out of hiding to go walk (not Izzy’s fault at all!) but the other pup was thrilled to be out and about with her. Will book with her again!”

About: I've personally had and cared for both dogs and cats, but would also be willing and able to care for other small animals. I love spending time with the animals that I care for. I am currently in an online graduate school program and have a very flexible schedule. I am open to a variety of pet sitting opportunities and would love to hear from you! I am currently unable to take pets in my home, but am available for drop-in visits, dog walking, and even housesitting. I pay close attention to given instructions to ensure your pets are happy and healthy while you're away.

About: I've been watching my own personal pets as well as other peoples since I was a young child. I trained my dog, a half lab/half Weimeraner to retrieve at a pretty high level. I had a three legged cat as well. I've been living with dogs my entire life and cats for the last eight years I work remotely and would prefer to house sit in a place where I can also do my work. Your pet would have someone around the majority of the time and I can take care of other business. According to the conditions and the pets stated needs. I love walking dogs and retrieving with them and it is always nice giving cats catnip if they like catnip.

“Sharika is great with my 5-month old Samoyed puppy who can be very disobedient and stubborn at times. She is incredibly accommodating in terms of walk times, and is flexible which I sincerely appreciate. Would recommend Sharika 100%!”

About: Hey, I’m Brandon—your Alaskan adventure buddy for pups of every size and temperament. Born in the lower 48, raised by a pack of high‑energy shepherd mixes, and now settled in Indian, AK, I spend most days scouting trails, chasing light for wildlife photos, and keeping my own Shepsky’s zoomies in check. If your dog has energy to burn—or nerves that need soothing—I’ve got the miles, patience, and know‑how to help them thrive while you’re away. Pet care is my workday. I freelance in photography, so I build my calendar around pets—not the other way around. I’m currently offering remote services only—drop‑ins, feeding, walks, and litter‑box care—no boarding or dog‑dog meet‑ups until my own Shepsky finishes training. That means your cat or pup gets undivided attention on a reliable timetable: morning potty breaks, mid‑day enrichment, and evening check‑ins exactly when you request, all confirmed in writing with GPS or photo proof each visit. Raised a German Shepherd from 15 weeks and trained as an EMT, I stay calm in chaotic moments and spot issues early. Because I’m doing in‑home visits only, your pet never shares space with other animals—eliminating cross‑contamination and social‑stress risks. I carry a first‑aid kit, follow strict sanitizing for bowls and litter tools, and log meds, meals, and behavior changes in real time. Whether it’s administering pills on schedule or scooping a finicky litter robot, you’ll know your home and fur‑family are treated with hospital‑grade care and neighborly respect.

About: Growing up we had 3 dogs, chickens, cats and goats. I have a special place in my heart for dogs. Dogs are the best and help me get outside, I love to run and go on long hikes, and would love to be able to take care of your pup while you are away. I work during the week tue-Thur & have weekends free so I have time to give the pups walks morning and night and weekends are free for big adventures. As a house sitter I plan to care for peoples space & their animals. Making sure the dogs are fed, exercised and getting lots of affection

About: I love all animals-my ideal life would be owning a farm. I will make sure your pet is not only well cared for but also receives enough attention that they aren’t lonely-as I would hope my pets would be if I trusted them to someone. I’ve worked on farms, fostered feral cats for ~4 year ans am very capable and up to a challenge. I am good at reading body language. I love cats and dogs and greatly enjoy this work! FYI: I live in Portage so mainly looking for jobs in the Girdwood area. My dog sitting rate reflects driving in twice/day and taking them for longer walk in evenings. Message me and we can work something out. I have a flexible schedule at my other job so I have so I have lots of time to to stop by and plan visits so pets aren’t left for long periods I will follow whatever instructions the owner gives me and makes sure the pet is safe and taken care of, and gets attention and exercise every day.

About: Looking for a reliable, caring companion for your fur-baby? I offer personalized, trustworthy pet care with patience, love, and flexibility—ensuring your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for while you're away. Because I work freelance and set my own schedule, pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I'm flexible, reliable, and able to accommodate last-minute changes. This means your pet will always get the attention, care, and affection they deserve—without compromise. When caring for pets in your home, I follow all instructions for feeding, exercise, and medication to the letter. About: An active member of 4H since I was 8 years old I have regularly taken care of Horses, Goats, Chickens and Dogs. I've been professionally employed as a dog/home sitter since 2004 with rave reviews. Total pet wellness is very important to me as I take my commitments to animals seriously (with the intent to have a lot of fun and play as well). I regularly trim dog nails for friends and family and have been training dogs for the past 14 years. My dog is 13 years old, in excellent health and is frequently used to assist in training puppies (she's a great communicator). I have a clear and intuitive understanding of animals and animal behavior. 9/25/2022 Update - My books are currently open to new clients for daily drop-ins, walks and day care. All additional services are open to existing clients only. 10/16/2022 Update - My books are currently closed to new clients but if you would like to get on my waiting list please send me a message, I look forward to working with you and your dogs! I work part-time, from home and create a stimulating daily environment for my dog and any dogs I am responsible for (I only take one client at a time). Regular daily activities include indoor and outdoor sniffari's, daily training, multiple daily play sessions, 1-2 walks per day, and 1-3 hikes per week. Pet care is my daily and weekly routine! I own a condo in which dogs must be leashed and immediately picked up after. The first outdoor adventure starts at 5-6am and the last outdoor adventure ends between 9-11pm. We walk/hike 1-2 times per day and my dog, Nova, is always with me. When I care for pets in a clients home I adhere to the schedule they are accustomed too and incorporate more play and exercise as the dog is able. My goal is to have a dog that is happy to see their owner but would also be happy to continue living with me!

Ellen E.

“Ellen is an amazing and responsible caregiver! She has helped look after my cat on numerous occasions and they became best friends right away. She is very attentive to a pet's different needs and is great at playing and keeping them active. She also made sure my cat stayed on her regular schedule and would let her just curl up in Ellen's lap and take a nap. I know that she has taken care of dogs as well and would take them on amazing outdoor adventures or long walks around the area. No matter the pet, Ellen shows real love, affection, and care for every animal she takes care of, or even just hangs out with for a day, and makes sure they are comfortable and content.”

Joshua S.
“Watching Joshua interact with my mother's elderly pug and my baby kitten was truly a joy to behold. His ability to connect with animals on a emotional and physical and psychological level is anything short of amazing. Joshua has a cheery and adoring disposition along with a passionate soul that dogs and cats and animals of all kind can really connect with. His experience in the medical field has been proven to showcase his abilities and capabilities when it comes to caring for animals and their needs. He is a devoted and caring owner when it comes to his own pug Deku, these two share a bond that is unmatched by any pairing of human and animal kind I have ever seen in my life. On many occasions I have witnessed Joshua put Deku's needs and other animals needs before his own. I have the utmost respect for Joshua and his loving and caring demeanor and passion for animals. I highly recommend him for anybody who wants someone to be focused on their furry companion. Thank you. Jordan Cote”
