About: I’ve cared for both big and small dogs during multiple pet-sitting stays, making sure they get plenty of walks, meals, and attention while their owners are away. I know every dog has their own personality and needs, and I’m happy to provide reliable, thoughtful care to keep them happy and comfortable. Whether your pup needs a walk, overnight care, or just some extra attention, I’m here to help! I work part-time Monday through Thursday with a varying schedule, but I’m generally available after my shifts. My regular hours are 8 AM to 2:30 PM, so I have plenty of time in the afternoons and evenings to care for pets. Whether it’s a walk, drop-in visit, or overnight stay, I’m happy to fit pet care into my routine and make sure your furry friend gets the attention they need! I do not offer boarding at this time, but I am happy to care for pets in their own home. I follow the owner’s instructions closely to ensure each dog’s routine is maintained, whether that includes feeding schedules, walk times, playtime, or any special care needs. My goal is to provide a comfortable and stress-free experience for both the pet and the owner while they’re away.
About: I’ve loved dogs since I adopted my first puppy at age 9– a Labrador, chow chow mix. With him I shared my first experiences walking, feeding, and playing with dogs. At age 12, I adopted a German Shepard, golden retriever mix that was his best companion. Living with two dogs taught me the importance of friendship and care between humans and animals. Over the years I’ve walked, house sat, fed, bathed, and administered medication while pet sitting and feel confident with these tasks. Although, my favorite thing is to cuddle up and show pets affection. I’d love to extend my love for animals to your darling pet and integrate any care requests you have. I’m currently working part time with a very flexible schedule, so I can be available for drop in walks, check ins, etc, throughout the day. I always approach new pet friendships with care- slowly and by gauging the comfort of the animal. I let the animal approach me first if a little hesitant so that they can get to know me. I offer affection to build trust and can also offer treats to further that. I’m attentive and responsive to the needs of the pet if any. For example, if a dog is communicating a need to go outside or is boundary setting I am responsive to that.
