About: I’ve had the privilege of making animal care my life for the past 30+ years. I’ve worked at 2 zoos, a wildlife preserve and now I pet sit full time. I love meeting new pets and their parents. My main priority is ensuring your animal is comfortable and safe while you’re away. I strive to give peace of mind to any worried pet parents. 😊 My favorite activities with your Furkid include enrichment with toys, fetching, dispensing treats and rubbing backs and bellies. I can medicate, give insulin and prepare special diets. I’m also trained in animal first aid and I excel at following directions. Animal care is all I do. I can do daily walks/visits up to 3 times a day. I’m also available for house sitting and overnights. I have a number of clients in the Baton Rouge area with different pet care needs and I make my own schedule. I stick to their usual daily routine or follow whatever instructions are left. I like to keep a consistent visit/feeding/potty time. I have a lot of patience and will encourage your pet to socialize with me. We can do whatever they like, play with toys, take walks, eat treats, rub backs or just sit together. I also water plants, check mail/paper and keep a general an eye on things.

About: As a veterinary student, I have experience handling and caring for animals through veterinary school, clinical experiences, and shelter volunteering. My training has taught me to pay close attention to an animal’s behavior, comfort, appetite, and overall well-being. I’m comfortable following detailed feeding and medication instructions and caring for pets that may need a little extra patience or attention. While pet sitting is not a substitute for veterinary care, my veterinary background helps me recognize when something seems unusual and communicate concerns quickly with an owner. Hi! I’m an LSU veterinary student with hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats of different ages, personalities, and needs. As both a veterinary student and pet owner, I understand how important it is to have someone you genuinely trust caring for your pet while you’re away. My veterinary training has given me experience with animal handling, recognizing changes in behavior and comfort, and administering medications. I provide attentive, individualized care and make sure owners receive regular updates and photos so they can feel confident their pets are happy and well cared for. As a veterinary student, my schedule varies throughout the week, but I’m very intentional about only accepting bookings that I can fully accommodate. I plan pet care around my class and school schedule to make sure every pet receives the time, attention, and care they deserve. I’m generally available for evening care on weekdays, with additional flexibility throughout the day depending on my class schedule. My weekends tend to be more flexible. I’m happy to coordinate with each owner to maintain their pet’s usual feeding, walking, playtime, and medication routine as closely as possible. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. As a veterinary student, I’m attentive to changes in behavior, appetite, energy level, and overall well-being, and I’ll communicate with you promptly if I notice anything unusual. I carefully follow each pet’s established routine and your specific instructions for feeding, walks, medications, playtime, and household safety. I also understand that every pet has different boundaries, so I take the time to build trust and allow them to interact at their own pace. When caring for pets in your home, I’ll treat both your pet and your space with respect. You can expect regular updates and plenty of pictures so you can feel comfortable knowing your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. 🐾

About: I've been taking care of animals since 12! from cats to goats! I've taken care of many different animals and love every animal as my own! I believe our animals are our children and deserve the utmost care! I am available Mon-Fri from sunrise till sunset! I am a college student, but am completely online, so I am very flexible with any schedules! I allow them space to get used to a new person and environment and provide a calm space where they can explore at their own pace. I will give them all the attention and care they need!

About: Growing up we had 3 cats and we also fostered many young pets and I would take care of our neighbors pets. The apartment I currently live in doesn't allow pets, so I would love to care for others pets! I am currently a student at LSU, but I have time in between classes and i'm more free in the evening. I'm pretty flexible especially on weekends. I will follow all instructions necessary for your home! I don't currently offer my home as an option, so I will come to your home to pet sit.

About: I enjoy walks and being outdoors as much as any dog. I also enjoy a slower pace and can provide care and companionship to your fur friend who might not be as active. Full-time student at LSU. My schedule allows flexibility to provide services that can meet your pet's needs. I share my affection evenly between all the fur friends and will love to meet yours! About: I've been around dogs my entire life and have cared for breeds of all sizes and personalities, from energetic Toy Poodles to gentle Great Danes. One of my most meaningful experiences was raising and training a Black Labrador from just 8 weeks old until she was 16 months old, when she moved on to professional service dog training. About: I’ve grown up with pets my whole life, and have had two dogs myself. I’ve spent the last two years living with two wonderful cats. I easily warm up to new pets, and will take my time when learning your pet’s needs. I can quickly learn feeding requirements despite how complex it gets, I remain patient always. I have been pet sitting for neighbors and family for 5 years now, and I’d like to continue giving a helping hand to pets nearby. I work a restaurant job starting at 4, so I am available until 3:30 everyday. I am able to be up early in the morning, and can stay to pet sit until I need to leave for work. I help with my roomates cats daily by feeding/playing. I do not offer in home service, but I am mobile and able to house sit and make drop in visits as needed! I have tons of unique enrichment opportunities for your pups, including things like snuffle mats, puzzles, kongs, and more. My house is puppy proofed, because I often foster and train dogs! Being a multiple dog household I cannot board any dog with same sex aggression, human aggression, or idiopathic aggression, and reactive dogs will be a case by case basis, However, being a trainer I am more than open to help families work through these issues. Please let me know of any medical conditions or allergies! I like to use treats when working with dogs, so I recommend bringing some yummy high value treats so their tummy doesn’t get upset!
