Pet care fits really naturally into my daily and weekly routine. As a student with a flexible part-time job, I’m able to plan my schedule around pet care and give it the time and attention it deserves. I’m already used to building my days around routines, so feeding times, walks, playtime, and check-ins fit in easily. I enjoy spending time with animals as a break from schoolwork, and I make sure each pet gets consistent care, attention, and affection throughout the day—not just quick drop-ins.

Knowing this information in advance helps me keep pets comfortable, avoid stress, and make their time with me as smooth and enjoyable as possible.

A typical day with the pets I watch is structured but fun, and it’s always based on each pet’s energy level and routine. The day usually starts with feeding, potty breaks, and a calm walk or some outdoor time. Throughout the day, I mix in playtime, enrichment activities, and plenty of attention and affection. Fun activities might include walks around the neighborhood, games like fetch or tug, puzzle toys or treat games for mental stimulation, and relaxed cuddle time for pets who prefer a calmer pace. For puppies, I reinforce basic training and routines, and for senior pets, I focus on gentle movement, comfort, and companionship. I also make sure pets get downtime so they don’t feel overstimulated. My goal is for pets to feel happy, safe, and cared for while still having a fun, engaging day.

I have experience with puppy care (including reinforcing routines and house rules) as well as senior care, such as administering medication, assisting with mobility, and keeping a calm, predictable environment. I’m very detail-oriented, follow instructions closely, and treat every pet like they’re my own—making sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away.
