About: As someone who has worked with a variety of domesticated felines, I’ve learned that the last thing a cat wants is a sitter. Lol. Most just want someone who can scoop their box and open their can of food. I’m a professional in that area. I’m also good at reading kitty behavioral cues. I can usually tell if a feline is going to be my friend or not. I know when to give them their space. I’ve watched kitties who are social and some that are shy. I’m pretty good with a laser and always enjoy playing with or sitting with a sweet cat or cats. I can also prepare special diets and give insulin shots. The Kitties always train me well!

About: I have three huskies at home. Taking care of them requires a lot of attention, energy, and patience. (Heavy on the patience LOL) My boyfriend also has a boxer, so I have plenty of experience walking, feeding, and playing with large energetic dogs. Just for reference, my baby is a male, mini-dachshund. He’s 11 years old and is a timid, loving sweet boy. But if that’s not an option, that’s okay too! I also have two cats who are both loving and do well with dogs! If we’re boarding at my house, I can pickup and drop off for you as well. I work a Monday-Friday job, and am typically off by 4:30! Anytime outside of those hours will be allotted for the care of any fur babies you entrust me with(: I live in a quiet spot not far from LSU! I have a pretty big yard and safe walking areas for long walks. All I’ll need is a collar and leash (:

About: I grew up with a Yorkie and now care for him in his senior years with doggy dementia, which has taught me the importance of patience, gentle routines, and creating a calm, comforting environment. Monday, Wednesdays, and Fridays I get out of class for 11 and am free for the rest of the day. Tuesdays and Thursdays are a little tougher for me due to my classes being scattered throughout the day. I enjoy taking them on walks, giving them baths, playing with them, cuddling with them, feeding and taking them out, and just having an emotional support animal around me!

“This was my first time leaving Toto at home with anyone outside of family, and Lauren immediately made me feel comfortable and at ease knowing he was in good hands. She took great care of him, and Toto took to her right away, even laying on her and relaxing. It was clear he felt safe and happy. He spent the evening playing, cuddling, and getting plenty of rubs. I’m so grateful for the care she showed him and would absolutely trust her with Toto again.”
About: As a pet owner myself, I have experience with how to keep feeding routines, administer meds, walks, playtime, potty breaks, grooming and recognizing when something isn’t quite right. I’ll also provide regular updates and photos, so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is happy and well cared for. I’m currently working remotely and part time. This leaves me plenty of time to care for pets on weekdays and weekends, throughout the day. Early mornings and late evenings are no problem. We have a private fenced in yard for those that need ample activity. Pets are cared for in the home but also have their own room for when they need a quiet corner.

She integrated Zoey with her family and two young kids, so that was very much appreciated as felt more like being part of a family experience than in a kennel. She sent photos and communicated on a regular basis which was appreciated as well.”
