About: Ever since I was little, I’ve loved animals. I dreamed of becoming a veterinarian, took two years of veterinary classes, and even worked at a veterinary clinic as my first job. Life took me on a different route but I never stopped loving animals. I’m comfortable caring for dogs of all sizes and personalities, whether they need a walk, playtime, fresh food and water, medications, or just lots of love and attention. I’m also the person who stops for every stray animal (my husband has had to remind me we can’t keep them all! 😂). I have 3 dogs, 2 cats and a gecko at home. Most of them are strays so jokes on him! As a wife and mom, I understand how important it is to know your loved ones are in good hands. I’ll treat your pets like they’re my own and send plenty of photo updates so you know they’re happy, safe, and well cared for while you’re away. I do work full-time, so I offer pet care before and after work, on days off, and during my available hours. This isn’t just a side job for me, it’s something I love and brings me happiness. Since I’ll be caring for your pet in your home, I always strive to keep their routine as normal as possible. And I think communication with you is key!
About: I have taken care of dogs since I was a little girl. I volunteered at an animal shelter and neighbors have always relied on me to take care of their pets! I’m currently looking for a full time job. But would hope to do this part time. The part time hours will depend on when you need me. I have an indoor dog named Lilly. She is well taken care of. I feed her twice a day, take her out multiple times to use the bathroom, give her plenty of water, and plenty of exercise.

About: I’ve been caring for dogs and cats for most of my life and have experience with pets of all ages, sizes, and personalities. Growing up around animals and pet sitting for friends and family from a young age gave me a strong foundation in providing safe, reliable, and loving care. I have experience caring for puppies, senior pets, and everything in between, including feeding, walking, administering medications, and providing companionship while owners are away. I understand that every pet has unique needs and routines, and I take pride in following instructions carefully to help pets feel comfortable and secure. As the owner of a reactive and anxious Labradoodle and a strong-willed Golden Retriever mix, I have firsthand experience working with dogs that require extra patience, awareness, and positive reinforcement. I’m familiar with clicker training techniques, leash reactivity management, and creating calm, positive experiences during walks and visits. Whether your pet needs exercise, attention, medication, or simply a friendly face while you’re away, I’ll treat them with the same care and respect I give my own pets. I’m currently working part-time so I’ll have time for early morning or evening drop-ins during the week and open availability on weekends. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and well-being are always my top priorities. I understand the importance of following routines, administering medications correctly, and recognizing signs of stress or discomfort. As the owner of an anxious, reactive dog, I’m experienced in handling pets who need extra patience and attention. I will treat your pets and home with the same care and respect I give my own, and I’ll keep you updated throughout every visit for added peace of mind.

“Tessa came to check on my pets at the precise times I needed her to; on top of that, she was a very consistent communicator while I was away! I’m glad I booked with her and look forward to doing so again 🖤 10/10 recommend”

Handling everything from playtime supervision and feeding to administering basic care and ensuring a safe, happy environment for every pup. Dogs have always been a huge part of my life, and I’ve grown up around them, so caring for them comes naturally to me. I’m a teacher during the week, so my pet care schedule fits perfectly around that! I’m available in the afternoons/evenings on weekdays, and I have full availability on weekends, holidays, and throughout the summer. This allows me to give pets plenty of time, attention, and consistency when their owners need it most. I have a dog of my own, but I live in an apartment, so boarding in my home isn’t ideal. My dog is friendly so play dates are definitely an option if you’re okay with it! I prefer caring for pets in their own environment where they’re most comfortable. “Savanna is a fantastic sitter. She is very sweet and she loves animals. She is not afraid of a litter box and will even water your plants if asked. I looked forward to her notes and pictures every morning as it gave me comfort knowing Oliver and the ferals were being well taken care of. I would absolutely have her watch my little friends again.”

“Lani went above and beyond for us and our three dogs who had different needs. She gave us informative updates and contacted us when situations arose that needed an answer. She had the courtesy to bring in packages from the front door. She connected with the dogs and it was obvious that they enjoyed her company. Will definitely be asking for her help in the future.”

“Above and beyond. Amazing. I was in a hurry and put in the wrong address and by the time we connected she was on her third try. She went back to our house after midnight to make sure my dog was taken care of and did it with grace and aplomb. I can’t say enough good things about Tylyn.”

About: Your pets aren't just guests; they are family. As a Veterinary Technician, I provide a level of care similar to having a pediatric nurse watch your children. My journey began at 18 as a bather and kennel tech, but my passion led me to work alongside some of the most skilled veterinarians in the field. Following the loss of my children’s father, Justin, I found myself at a crossroads, needing a career that allowed me to be there for my kids while still honoring my calling to work with animals. This led to my current mission: opening my own boarding facility in memory of Justin and my beloved rescue dog, Elsie, who stayed by my side from the day I met him until just days after his passing. When you trust me with your 'fur babies,' you aren’t just getting a sitter; you’re getting a professional dedicated to their health, happiness, and safety. I promise they’ll be wagging with joy the moment they hear my name!" I am currently not working due to conflicting hours with my children's school schedule. Therefore, I am flexible with pet sitting hours outside of school pickup/drop off times. As a person who has worked in animal health for a long period of time, safety is my main priority when it comes to your pet. I have done it all, from bathing pets to assisting in surgery. Your pet will always be in safe hands with me.

My schedule varies, so drop off and pick up times will be determined at the request of the service. I live in a house with a fenced in yard that I am sure your pup would enjoy! I look forward to spoiling your fur baby and making them feel home away from home! Currently working from home so I am able to keep a close eye on your fur baby and they can feel at home. For more information, contact me and we can discuss the details! I have a fenced in yard with plenty of room for the pups to play! I have 2 indoor only cats and I also have a 1 1/2 year old collie mix who loves to make new friends!

Sydnie was such an amazing pet sitter for our gang! They were loved on and taken such great care of. She eased my mind totally so that we could enjoy our vacation and not worry so much about our fur babies. She had it handled! We will definitely have her watch them again if she can.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
