Growing up, we shared countless memories with my dog, Niuniu, a mixed-breed, along with two cats. Annie and I often walked Niuniu by the riverside or took her to the dog park. As Niuniu grew older, she required special attention, including a diet of soft boiled sweet potatoes—her absolute favorite.
