About: I’ve been taking care of friend’s and family’s pets for over 10 years. I have my own dog who just turned 7 who I helped train since he was a puppy. I work from home, which allows me to maintain a flexible schedule and give pets the time and attention they deserve throughout the day. About: I have grown up with pets my whole life. I truly cannot imagine living a life without a furry family member! In my lifetime, we have had a total of 6 pets, half of them being strays or rescues. One of our cats got diabetes and I had to give him insulin shots. My one dog Lexi got cancer and I had to pick her up to go out to pee as she lost control in her legs (she was a large golden doodle). Our one cat Hoodie was a feral kitten that we found hiding in the hood of my mom’s car. We were able to domesticate her and now she’s a fat happy house cat. Overall I have experience with all ages, including seniors, and strays. I currently work at Rowan University, working their summer theatre camp. I have a lot of availability as that is only in the mornings/afternoons and my weekends are free. I care with pets with love and respect. I treat them as part of the family rather than a pet. About: I grew up around 2 of the sweetest dogs, and learnt what it means to be patient with both larger and smaller canines. Im a psychology student, and have a fair understanding of conditioning and reward systems with animals for things such as training. I’m capable of managing longer walks, remaining patient with smaller breeds, paying close attention when it comes to administering correct food and water portions, and anything else necessary to keep your pets healthy and safe :) I’m currently free for any time of day, any day of the week! I need a 2-4 day notice before booking any sort of pet sitting days, as well as a detailed description of your companion. I intend to take care of my client’s pets as if they were my own, and take full responsibility of their wants and needs. And if something were to go wrong, I will contact the owner immediately.
