“Dale took great care of our cats - she was prompt, thoughtful of them, thorough in following instructions and took excellent photos of them during her visits! I would work with Dale again for any animal care.”

About: My family has had dogs for most of my life. We have cared for two dogs, one who required extra care, and one who was a senior. On my own I have cared for pet rats. I have also watched my friend's and neighbor's cats and dogs. I am a student at American River College right now, so I will be gone for a few hours a week for class. Other than that I have plenty of time to spend with your fur babies! I am great at following instructions, so whatever your pets need in your own home I will follow. Written instruction works the best with me so that I can double and triple check that I've done a good job! I make sure to be respectful of everyone's homes, especially when I have been trusted to take care of the pets inside.

About: I've been taking care of animals for a little over 5 years including my own animals. I have 1 dog and 1 Guinea pig. I used to volunteer for Mollys Militia which was animal foster/adoption center. During my volunteer hours I would make sure the dogs were fed and had water and were always in good condition living their best life. I am currently looking for a at home job to help with the convenience of staying home with my dog and caring for every other animal that would come into my care. I have a fenced yard that my dog loves to run around in. My dog is friendly towards other dogs. He is also neutered and well trained.

About: AKC certified in puppy training, socialization, breeding health and more I have a professional background in dog care through all stages of life. As I have recently lost my two doggos loving and caring for your dog would truly be a fulfilling experience for me. Working with dogs quickly became my passion when I entered the field years ago. I am often acknowledged for my empathy for animals and ability to notice and address medical concerns, skin conditions, allergic reactions and hygiene needs. I specialize in dog whelping, neonatal puppy care. I have vast variety of areas I have become very knowledgeable, and always eagerly continuing education. Dog grooming and training are large parts of my work as well and all of these roles are ones that I truly enjoy doing. Your dog will be treated with compassion by someone with an educated and experienced background. I have a flexible schedule and can work with you given enough notice. I currently work with a couple of kennels helping with care for many dogs of all ages. I love to spend my time grooming and training. I have grown side by side with and often times birthed the dogs I work with. I am incredibly passionate about what I do and am committed to the dogs I work with. Please give as much notice as possible before requesting to book with me as I cannot always guarantee availability. If you do need to reschedule or cancel, please provide as much notice as possible. I own a home on a quarter acre lot with a dog that has served multiple dogs very well over the last almost 15 years. The backyard is dog proofed and provides tons of space for physical activity. I am very conscious of foxtail prevention and ensuring a safe setting. It is incredibly important to me to make sure there is no potential risk of exposure to toxic plants or chemicals. Proper cleanliness and sanitization is a very high priority of mine.

About: I've always loved taking care of animals, and have been raised around them my whole life. I've volunteered at a shelter for a couple of years, and have had neighbors and family members rely on me to take care of their pets any time they were out of town. I have experience with both puppies and senior care just from having my own pups. Puppies like to be active a lot of the time and also need reinforcing with patience and consitency. However with senior dogs I have no issues with medications, and any special care, or just being a companion for them. I'm working part time right now however only two days a week usually between Thursday and Saturday, sometimes it does fluctuate but it can most definitely be worked around if need be. Anytime from Sunday-Wednesday would be best, as those are usually my off days and would have way more time available to spend with your doggies! When caring for pets in a clients home, I make sure to adhere closely to the instructions given to maintain consistency and meet individual pets needs. This includes any medications, supplements, feeding schedules, and meals with any dietary restrictions or needs. I like to keep pets active as well depending on their health condition, and make sure to keep a clean and well kept environment. Above all I treat each pet with respect and care as if they were my own.

“We had Nicole watch our two cats (one a new playful kitty and the other an older cat who was quite sad after losing her companion weeks before) for 5 days as well as do some watering in our gardens. She and her partner did a fantastic job. We were worried leaving the cats but she was easy to communicate with, sent regular updates, and took care of everything that was asked of her. We would definitely use her again to care for our cats!”

“We are so grateful for the care Elena provided us for Casper, she always goes above and beyond with his care and also offers to help with additional tasks as well as pet care tips. It is such a relief to have someone so responsible and caring for our furry family member. We would recommend her services to anyone looking for reliable, high quality pet care.”

About: I have been a babysitter/petsitter for many years. Generally doing pet sitting for the neighbors when they go out of town. I can provide several references. I also volunteered for the Humane society for over a year. I volunteered for the education program which taught children the proper way to handle animals as well as how to approach them. I worked with bunnies, cats, dogs, Guinea pigs and even a little turtle. I am currently working on saving to go back to school. On my free time you can find me reading a book, or looking for an adventure. I love meeting new friends (animals and humans alike). I am new to Auburn, so any recommendations for places to explore would be much appreciated! I look forward to meeting you and your fur babies! Fully vaxxed. I usually am up by 7 and like to go for a walk before it gets too warm, always love a companion. Having lived with 7 dogs at one point, makes pet care basically second nature! I will always treat your fur babies as if they were my own. Plenty of play time and love and cuddles... maybe an extra treat here and there 😉

I work full-time in a position that offers the flexibility to work from home, allowing me to split my time between the office and the comfort of my own space. On average, I work from home about 50% of the time, which gives me a great balance of productivity and personal time. This arrangement allows me to be present for both work and home life, ensuring I can stay connected while also enjoying the benefits of a flexible schedule. I live on a peaceful, country property spanning three acres, surrounded by nature and wide-open spaces. The entire property is securely fenced, ensuring a safe and enclosed environment where your pets can roam freely and explore to their hearts' content. With plenty of room to run, play, and enjoy the outdoors, it's an ideal setting for furry companions to stretch their legs and soak up the fresh air. Whether it's chasing after a ball or simply lounging in the sun, your pets will have all the space they need to feel at home.

My longest pet sitting job was 3.5 weeks while the owners were in Italy. I have many referrals. I’ve taken care of miniature horses, Friesian horses, and a pig. My shedule is flexible; if you have an emergency need for pet sitting, I’m your gal. I prefer to petsit at my client’s homes. The animals rather appreciate this. I like to meet the animal(s) before sitting so when I arrive, we have a connection. I give the animals plenty of one-on-one attention. This may include doggy massage to calm them and get to know them. Lots of walks if they like that. Potty Breaks every couple of hours to begin with, as they’re sometimes nervous or have stomach upsets. I’d like to know your favorite names for them, what your routines are, rituals, their favorite things to do. I’ve also stayed with animals after their surgeries to monitor when the owner has to work.

Emma F.
“Emma is amazing. She is fantastic with my dog, Cody. Cody was a rescue and was very skittish and aggressive towards other dogs as well as people. Right off the bat, Emma was understanding and patient with Cody and Cody immediately responded positive. Cody is not a trusting dog but he bonded with Emma. Emma frequently plays with him and treats him as her own. There are moments where I think he adores her more than myself. Emma is super flexible with my busy schedule and walks Cody on almost a day to day basis. I can tell she really cares and loves him. She reinforces good behavior in Cody. In fact, she went the extra mile and taught Cody a new trick! She taught him how to search for his toy and to stay, something I didn't ask her to do. I really love Emma, she has really made my life easier and I trust her so much with my furry baby.”

Mindi sent me updates and pictures when I was away and made me feel like my girl was getting the kind of attention that she is accustomed to when I am home. Having to leave a family member while you are out of town is never a good feeling. I know that when I can't be there, my dog has a great friend and caregiver in Mindi.”
