About: I have cared for and loved animals since I was a little girl. I was raised in a house with dogs of all types and have continued to have them in my life. I have two rescues, a 6-lb sweet female chihuahua and a 30-lb shy male terrier mix, that love to be around other dogs but who also are submissive to and respect other dogs’ needs for their own space. Having been a zookeeper and vet tech, I have worked on training various critters, as well as cared for elderly animals that need special attention or medications. I work from home with my husband full time and we are always ready for fur baby snuggles on our couch and bed. We also live near a canal and trails, so dog walks are very frequent in our home. Because we live farther away, we are also willing to come do pickups to keep you from having to drive to us, but we understand completely wanting to see where your pups are staying. I work from home nearly full time except Tuesdays, but my husband is home full time everyday. I am an early riser and can do early walks/pickup/potty breaks. As we are working on house projects due to this being a new and first home purchase, we are gone a ton on the weekends too. If I am staying at your home, I can arrange to be there constantly because my husband is home to care for my pups. I don’t have a fenced yard, but live very close to a dog park that is fenced. I also have a canal trail right off my driveway and we walk our two dogs on it all the time. My two babies are extremely sweet and friendly with other dogs. I am an extremely tidy and organized person, so whether your pup stays with me or I come to your home, I can guarantee I will always leave things as good or better than I found them. Also, if you have any last-minute travel issues, I can almost always adapt to host longer to make sure you don’t have to stress about what will happen to your pup.

I’ve had Dutch and German Shepherds, Rottweilers and mixed breeds down to a tea cup Pomeranian. I’m consistent in both my love and my expectations, so the animal is not confused. They communicate with us through Body language and I know how to read it. We recent (2 years ago) rescued our girl from the shelter when she was 10 months old, no one believes we haven’t had her since day one. We love animals. I do ask that your dog be clean/bathed and brushed along with trimmed/grinded nails before you bring them to my home. I’m self employed and mostly work form home. If I do have to leave it’s only for an hour or so. I make my own schedule. I have a fenced area and we live on an acre of land in a private community with 22 miles of trails. We have 5 children ages 1-16 and they love animals, they have all been raised to love and respect them. We have a 5 year old female husky to be buddies with your fur baby. We have a huge Recreation field to run free and play at and a lake to swim in if they want.
