About: While I’m new to Rover I have been a professional ranch sitter and stable hand for over 30 years. I have taken care of animals of many kinds since I was in high school. I'm certified through the United States Pony Club for horsemanship, have 4H experience with birds and goats and am knowledge in first aid care. I have bred and have experience with reptiles and small exotic pets. I have worked as a foster home for special needs rescue animals and I"m always learning. Let me provide mature expert care for your pets including older/special needs, exotic pets, and livestock. Emergency and fire evacuation planning during fire seasons for our area is a requirement to ensure I can execute your plan and am the right fit for your needs. I work from home Mon - Fri so I can sit mid-week but need access to high-speed internet if I'm staying in your home. I do take well behaved cats and dogs in my own home, as long as they meet and get along with my animal friendly pets. My weekends are available if I'm not previously engaged, but I do have an active schedule so I will work with you to ensure my schedule is a good fit for your pets. I am available for overnights, drop in and some boarding care for your pets and home. I have a detailed checklist to help set expectations for care whether in your home or mine. I do a health and safety check twice a day (morning and evening) to ensure the items on your list have been completed. The care of your animals and property is always my highest priority and I will work with you to set clear expectations and let you know if I'm a good fit. Please note, if you are interested in boarding, we do have 3 small friendly inside dogs and a blind indoor kitty. They are all extremely well socialized, vaccinated and used to meeting new client's pets. We also living on a working ranch and while I can keep your pet separate if they are housebroken and crate trained, I will also incorporate them safely into our daily routine when its appropriate and best for them. Our doggie guests love playing in our large fenced yard where they can see our livestock but not get in with them.

About: I have experience caring for lots of animals like cats and dogs. I had to help raise our kittens after their mom died when they were two weeks old. I have basic experience with animal care, special diets and medication, and showing them love and attention! I work part time several days a week during the day. Typically 6 hour days when I’m pet sitting. Depending on location, might be able to work something out if your pets can’t be home alone that long. I tend to spend time with the animals where I can be around them, such as being in the living room if they’re inside animals or checking on them often if they’re outdoors. Try to follow whatever schedule the animal needs to the best of my ability (such as feeding times or walks).

About: Not only do I have 10 years of experience of pet sitting, I have experience working with shelter dogs. I’ve been with Placer SPCA as a volunteer for many years. I work with fearful, excitable, shy and even reactive dogs on a weekly basis. I make sure to give them the best care I can provide. About: I grew up with a family of people and pets. I have always loved animals and always will. Often times my parents would leave the house for a get away. I am an only child so it would always be up to me to watch what was a big part of my life 2 cats and 2 dogs. It was something that was so natural to me being I grew up doing and my parents always trusted me with the duty. As of the moment I live alone with no pets and being lonely, would love to spend some quality time with a furry companion being I'm not allowed to own a pet in the apartment where I live. About: I have watched our cousins sweet puppy and an older dog that was super low maintenance.. Dog let the puppy lay all over him, was quite adorable while staying at their home . About: I’ve grown up around dogs my entire life! I’ve been around dogs of all breeds, sizes, and ages, from little puppies to older dogs. My grandma also fostered dogs, so I was always surrounded by them growing up! My family home is located in the beautiful Sunset Village Oaks area in Rocklin and it is adequate for dog boarding/sitting. The home and well fenced backyard, each have 3 entries and exits in case of an emergency evacuation. The backyard offers plenty of outdoor space to exercise, explore, play and sun bathe with easy access to a beautiful walking trail. Unfortunately, the indoors isn't big enough for larger dogs and to provide cat care. The indoors living space, however, can accommodate small to medium size dogs and their crates, if preferred. Dogs are kept indoors during extreme weather conditions and only allowed outside for potty breaks. The best effort is made to take your pet on daily walks. There are 2 separate outdoor play areas should a dog be on the shy side. Dogs are fed separately to keep them from eating each other's food and treats, this is to avoid upset tummies and upset doggies. Every dog's behavior is monitored closely to prevent from anyone getting hurt. Safety is my #1 priority. I will update you daily with pictures and short videos for you to enjoy during your time away.

About: My whole life, my family, and I have always had pets in our home from spiders, lizards, iguanas, frogs, snakes, birds (including wild, pigeons), fish, gerbils, rabbits, cats, and dogs. My front yard and backyard are fully fenced independently. 4 foot and 6 foot respectively. We have baby gates throughout the home for the dogs safety. If your dog is crate trained, please bring the crate. If your dog is not crate trained, they can stay in the office/dog room on the bed or the floor in small beds.

We have a sweet 15-year-old Jack Russell named Indie, and I honestly can’t remember a time in my life when I didn’t have a pet.
