I’m a very down to earth and healthy lifestyle human who just loves fur babies of all types. I’m attentive and loving and playful with animals. I really need it as much as they do. I work early in the mornings off around 9am and then have most of the day to myself. It’s nice to have an excuse to take a dog on a walk or to lounge around with some kitty cuddles. Having animals in my home makes it feel more like a home. In my own home I will be in close proximity at all times and I will be home the entire time so I can sense when potty breaks or walks are needed. I really enjoy taking walks myself so it’s a perfect fit to have dogs over. Cats are similar with the exception of walks unless you want to leash train them or already have. I love to keep an eye on them so they don’t hurt themselves and I give lots of play time.

“Otis is not the easiest pup and has separation anxiety as well as probable trauma in a previous home. But he seemed so well loved and cared for when we picked him up. It was hard to leave him with a stranger but they were so reassuring and experienced with dogs that it really put us at ease. I would trust Kristine and Joseph with our sweet boy again for sure. They were even willing to take him on VERY short notice and totally saved me from missing out on a very important family event. So thankful!”

About: I currently have a 7 year old cat who is like our child. I also grew up with a cat (that was with me for 20 years!). But my real love for cats started when I started working in animals hospitals, and I discovered that I have a knack for handling the more temperamental/fractious cats. Winning over a shy/scared cat is so rewarding (and takes patience). I am able to give medications if/when needed, but mostly I just want to cuddle them 💜

About: I am a lover of animals in general. I have had dogs, cats, horses and goats all my life and know the commitment and care that goes into owning and loving them as family members. I have lived on a ranch and can care for livestock as well. I have been caring for my own animals, as well as friends, family and clients since I was a young girl. I have three dogs, a 10 yro Pug, an 11 yro island mix breed and a mix breed Doodle pup about 2 an a half. I recovered out of a ditch. They are all very good natured, live in the house and on the furniture. It is not a free for all, I do have some rules, so I think. I also have 3 cats, horses and some goats. I can-do drop-in care or house sit on site. I have 20 acres in Pilot Hill. The property is not fully fenced, but I do have the materials and ability to put up pens. If you would like your pet to come here, we will discuss the individual needs of your pet.
“Amanda was very gracious towards our very naughty puppy. Apparently, some of the nervous behaviors that we don’t see at home came out with an unholy flourish at Amanda‘s home. But I appreciate the fact that Amanda gave us a full and honest report (which is helpful for us to gauge the areas he still needs significant training) and was very kind about the negatives. The most important thing, though, was that he settled down in the car almost immediately. Our dog is a very nervous dog, so if he has had a rough time at a dog sitter, we know right away because he whines and whimpers all the way home. After leaving Amanda‘s house, he winded for about 60 seconds and then went to sleep. Hallelujah! Thank you, Amanda, for the top quality care you have given to our very low quality puppy. I am especially grateful that Amanda was willing to take the puppy at the last minute, because my husband had a hospital procedure and I had completely forgotten about making arrangements for the dog. What a godsend Amanda has been.”
About: I have always had dogs/animals. We have 5 dogs of our own. We also foster with a local rescue. We specialize in the squish face breeds. We completely understand climate control. We love to exercise outside and go out often to romp. I am currently working remote part of the time (office days are Tues/Thurs). We typically always have someone home and the dogs are likely never alone for more than a 2-3 hour period. Our dogs are very friendly and love to play! We do not have a fenced yard, so our preference would be dogs that are not a flight risk! We can use a flexi leash for potty breaks but that would limit outside play for our guests. We live on 2.5 acres with a lot of grass to romp and play. Our dogs do not go outside unless supervised.

I am available 24/7, our animals are just as important as us so I believe in having time for them whenever you or them may need it. About: I have been surrounded by animals my entire life. I grew up being surrounded by animals and they have always been a huge part of my life. I had my English Springer Spaniel, Beau, for 13 years and just recently adopted a Bearded Collie/Golden Lab mix puppy. I also have my two 6 year cats, Rupert and Carl. I am the manager of a winery but have a pretty flexible schedule-especially in the evenings. I'm off work on Mondays and Fridays and am able to leave work early, if necessary. I'm also available in the early morning before 10am. Since I have three animals of my own, and to not upset their environment, it would be best for me to go to clients' homes to feed and take care of their animals.
