“Shanley was great with both our dogs and even adjusted her schedule to take them on earlier walks when a heat wave came in the middle of our trip. We so appreciated her flexibility and her concern for our doggos’ well-being!”

About: I'm a nature lover and natural animal lover—especially doggies. Over the years, I’ve loved and cared for my my own pets: dogs, a rabbit and a cat. Currently, I help care for my aging mom’s little senior Shitzu: weekly walks at a nearby parks, vet care and lite grooming. Comfortable with harness attaching and removal. My own beloved dog passed away a couple of years ago, I still enjoy encounters with other dogs on my daily walks, giving ear rubs and back scratches—dogs just bring me joy. Currently, I’m retired, so my availability is flexible for you and your pet’s needs. I have experience caring for various breeds and size (small to medium size dogs), but I can handle larger senior dogs. I routinely walk at various designated parks and trails in the East Bay. When I pet-sit in my apartment, I inquire about pets regular routine first: walking, feeding, and medication (if necessary). I require they provide their pet’s own: bedding, sleepwear, food and treats and up to date vaccines. I also ask for emergency info: Vet, pet-owner (s), and an alternate contact. Finally, I will send regular updates via text, pictures or videos of your pets outings or stays—live if you like!

About: Free Meet & Greets! Animals have always been a huge part of my life. From growing up with dogs and cats to caring for senior pets and high energy puppies. I’m the kind of person who talks to animals like they’re family, and I treat each pet with the same love, patience, and attention I’d want for my own. What sets me apart? I pay close attention to a pet’s individual needs and energy. Whether your pup needs a long walk to burn energy, your cat prefers quiet companionship, or your senior dog needs slow, gentle care, I’m here to make sure they feel safe, loved, and understood. I’m comfortable administering medications, sticking to specific feeding or care routines, and keeping communication open with you so you feel at ease while you're away. I’m currently fully available and have a flexible schedule, which means I can easily work around your pet’s needs. Whether it’s early mornings, midday check-ins, or evening snuggles, I’ve got the time and energy to be there when you need me. Your pet will get consistent care and attention, every time. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or yours, I prioritize creating a safe, calm, and loving environment. I pay close attention to routines, feeding instructions, and any special needs to make sure your pet feels secure and comfortable. I keep spaces clean, remove any hazards, and never leave pets unsupervised in situations that could be unsafe (like off-leash unless fenced). In your home, I respect your space just as much as I respect your pet—I treat it with care and leave things just as I found them (or cleaner!). I know it takes trust to let someone care for your furry family, and I take that seriously. Clear communication and gentle, attentive care are what I bring every time.

“Bailey did a wonderful job taking care of our girl Raya for the day and keeping us updated on each visit and walk. This was our first time using Rover to find a sitter and are so grateful that we found Bailey. Raya was certainly happy to have a new friend to go on walks with.”

“Alberto is really caring with my pets and my pets loved him! His attention to detail is great and he kept me updated on my babies. I will definitely return for more of his services. Thanks again!”

About: I have taken care of dogs, cats, bunnies, etc. for my neighbors and friends since I was 10 years old. I have taken care of newborn animals and senior animals. I’m currently home for the summer, so I am fully free! I can pop by your house, go on walks, or keep your pet company at home. I will make sure that your pet feels comfortable with me in their home and spend time playing with them or simply keeping them company. I will also love to go on long walks with your dog if requested!

About: I give complete care and attention to each critter. They are my priority, and very special to me. I grew up with cats, dogs, geese, rabbits etc... and currently have my own beautiful 11 year old Barbara cat. Taking care of animals brings me so much joy, which I think the critters can pick up on. I take their care seriously and make sure that they and you having everything that is needed. I have a reliable vehicle, am happy to travel and open availability throughout the week and weekend. This is my main source of income, so I am sure to make time for your pets, and make it my top priority. In my home I take the dog for a short walk at least twice a day, and when I am the only one responsible he also gets a long walk each day. My cat gets all the cuddles, brushed, clean her litter twice a day, and fully scrubbed down every other week. She also gets her water changed every day, flea medicine once a month, gabapentin as needed (she's getting a little arthritis), clip her nails as needed and I make sure she has a healthy mix of dry food and occasional wet food.

“Zsa-zsa is phenomenal and did a great job caring for my old dog while I was out of town. She is communicative and kind and clearly has a way with the four-legged among us. She'll be our go-to-gal from here on out!”

About: Hello! My name is Mary. I am a lifelong pet owner and animal enthusiast. I grew up on a horse farm with dogs, cats, horses, hamsters, and the odd rogue toad, so caring for animals with love and respect is literally second nature. I'm a somatic embodiment coach by trade, so I have a unique skill set for helping animals feel relaxed and comfortable in my care. I have joyously fostered 20+ dogs and cats in their transition to forever homes, and have extensive experience with house and pet sitting. I have experience with dogs of all sizes and breeds, from 6 pound little weasels to 80 pound gentle giants. I have a special place in my heart for seniors (and have experience caring for them.) I am comfortable and experienced with administering medication. Because I work from home online and over zoom, I can accommodate animals that need a shorter window of alone time. I'd be delighted to treat your fur family with all the love and care I would give my own. I look forward to hearing from you! I have my own online business, so my schedule is very fluid and flexible. I love walking dogs and can easily do day or evening walks and stop-bys. I have experience with staying in many different homes and I know that every animal has its own unique routines, needs and rituals that help it feel in flow. I'm very happy to work with your pet in the way they are used to.

About: I grew up with dogs and have cared for my own dogs as well as neighbors' dogs -- feeding, walking, playing, and loving them. I am also a cat lover. I have my own very sweet cat and I cat sit for friends often because I genuinely love them so much! I am currently working from home part time so I have plenty of flexibility in my schedule. I am happy to work with you to accommodate specific requests that fit your needs. I am a warm person who will care for your furry friends. If they're shy, I will win them over. If they're full of energy, I will play with them. I will always love them up!

About: Hi, I’m Kit! I’ve been training and caring for dogs for over 25 years, since I was practically a puppy myself! 🐶 I’m incredibly devoted to the pets I care for, and my goal is always to make sure your furry family member feels safe, loved, and relaxed while you’re away. As a mom of three grown sons, I’m used to keeping an eye on everything, I don’t miss a thing! 👀 My reaction time is fast, and I treat every dog like one of my own. I genuinely enjoy getting to know each pet’s personality and always miss them when they go home. Here’s what your pup can expect during their stay: • Constant companionship: I'm pretty much always here, so your pup won't be left alone, or be lonely. When I'm not here, my Rover partner Jason, is here. • Playtime: We have a secure courtyard and a big yard for your furry friend to explore. We love playing ball and taking short walks around the neighborhood. • Our pack: We have two small, mellow dogs who'll play with or leave your dog alone, whichever your dog chooses. • Size limit please: We welcome all dogs under 75 pounds. • Pupdates: You'll receive updates and fun photos regularly. • People Peace of Mind: If we have a question, don’t worry, we’ll always check with you. That way, you can focus on the good stuff – your family, work, or vacation. Let's have a meet and greet or call to make sure that we’re the right pet sitter for your family. The most important thing is that you feel entirely comfortable that your pet is in the right hands. Thanks so much and stay well! We start our day around 7 am. Your dogs will go out, have breakfast, and a short walk around the neighborhood. Your dog will have their own personal space for when they eat. I have a large, enclosed backyard and an enclosed courtyard in front where your dog can explore and we can play ball. Your pet will go outside as needed, as often as you want. Pets will usually relax inside during the afternoon and we'll go on another short walk before or after their dinner. We have a nightly routine to give a treat around 9 p.m. if okay with you. During that time, I will try to teach your dog to stay for longer periods of time, again if that's something you want. We try to be consistent and go to bed at 10:15 each night. Pets will sleep near us with the bed or crate they're used to or with us, if needed. That's our day! 👍 We have a routine with our dogs for when we eat and go outside. I can follow any instructions you have for your food, medicines, crating, dog beds, and treats. I will keep files with detailed notes of your instructions and what I learned about your pet during every stay, as we continue to get to know each other. My goal is for your dog to feel safe and happy so you can enjoy what you're doing and relax knowing that your four-legged baby is well taken care of.

About: Fur babies aren't just pets. They're part of the family. Growing up, I got to experience how cats and dogs change over their lifetimes. Our Shiba Inu and siamese cat both lived to 17 and 20 years old so I am familiar with the unique issues that senior pets face. My parents dogs' (seen in my profile photo) have been with us ever since they were just young puppies. I am working part-time as I am currently taking graduate school courses online, so my schedule has a lot of flexibility. I am available on weekdays as well as weekends. I recognize that each pet has their own unique needs and personality. I offer drop-in walks as well as house sitting services so your pet can have the stability and comfort of remaining in their home environment.

About: I’ve had a German Shepherd of my own, so I know how special our fur babies are. I’ll always treat your dog like one of my own 🐶💕 I’m currently job hunting, so my schedule is wide open! Feel free to reach out anytime for walks or pet care. I’d love to spend time with your pup! I’ll be there to care for your pet as if they were my own. Their safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities, so I’ll stay attentive and by their side the entire time. Whether they need playtime, cuddles, or just someone to keep them company, I’ll make sure they feel safe and loved while you’re away!
