About: I'm a nature lover and natural animal lover—especially doggies. Over the years, I’ve loved and cared for my my own pets: dogs, a rabbit and a cat. Currently, I help care for my aging mom’s little senior Shitzu: weekly walks at a nearby parks, vet care and lite grooming. Comfortable with harness attaching and removal. My own beloved dog passed away a couple of years ago, I still enjoy encounters with other dogs on my daily walks, giving ear rubs and back scratches—dogs just bring me joy. Currently, I’m retired, so my availability is flexible for you and your pet’s needs. I have experience caring for various breeds and size (small to medium size dogs), but I can handle larger senior dogs. I routinely walk at various designated parks and trails in the East Bay. When I pet-sit in my apartment, I inquire about pets regular routine first: walking, feeding, and medication (if necessary). I require they provide their pet’s own: bedding, sleepwear, food and treats and up to date vaccines. I also ask for emergency info: Vet, pet-owner (s), and an alternate contact. Finally, I will send regular updates via text, pictures or videos of your pets outings or stays—live if you like!

I’m currently home for the summer, so I am fully free! I can pop by your house, go on walks, or keep your pet company at home. I will make sure that your pet feels comfortable with me in their home and spend time playing with them or simply keeping them company. About: I give complete care and attention to each critter. They are my priority, and very special to me. I grew up with cats, dogs, geese, rabbits etc... and currently have my own beautiful 11 year old Barbara cat. Taking care of animals brings me so much joy, which I think the critters can pick up on. I take their care seriously and make sure that they and you having everything that is needed. I have a reliable vehicle, am happy to travel and open availability throughout the week and weekend. This is my main source of income, so I am sure to make time for your pets, and make it my top priority. In my home I take the dog for a short walk at least twice a day, and when I am the only one responsible he also gets a long walk each day. My cat gets all the cuddles, brushed, clean her litter twice a day, and fully scrubbed down every other week. She also gets her water changed every day, flea medicine once a month, gabapentin as needed (she's getting a little arthritis), clip her nails as needed and I make sure she has a healthy mix of dry food and occasional wet food.

Your dogs will go out, have breakfast, and a short walk around the neighborhood. Your dog will have their own personal space for when they eat. I have a large, enclosed backyard and an enclosed courtyard in front where your dog can explore and we can play ball. Your pet will go outside as needed, as often as you want. Pets will usually relax inside during the afternoon and we'll go on another short walk before or after their dinner. We have a nightly routine to give a treat around 9 p.m. if okay with you. During that time, I will try to teach your dog to stay for longer periods of time, again if that's something you want. We try to be consistent and go to bed at 10:15 each night. Pets will sleep near us with the bed or crate they're used to or with us, if needed. That's our day! 👍 We have a routine with our dogs for when we eat and go outside. I can follow any instructions you have for your food, medicines, crating, dog beds, and treats. I will keep files with detailed notes of your instructions and what I learned about your pet during every stay, as we continue to get to know each other. My goal is for your dog to feel safe and happy so you can enjoy what you're doing and relax knowing that your four-legged baby is well taken care of.

About: Fur babies aren't just pets. They're part of the family. Growing up, I got to experience how cats and dogs change over their lifetimes. Our Shiba Inu and siamese cat both lived to 17 and 20 years old so I am familiar with the unique issues that senior pets face. My parents dogs' (seen in my profile photo) have been with us ever since they were just young puppies. I am working part-time as I am currently taking graduate school courses online, so my schedule has a lot of flexibility. I am available on weekdays as well as weekends. I recognize that each pet has their own unique needs and personality. I offer drop-in walks as well as house sitting services so your pet can have the stability and comfort of remaining in their home environment.
