About: I have fostered 8 dogs (so far!) and helped them find homes. Caring for dogs of different ages, temperaments and needs has taught me so much. I have experience with both dogs and cats (and birds and fish!). I work as a substitute teacher, giving me flexibility to take pet-sitting jobs on short notice. Respecting their space, while being friendly and encouraging. Taking extra precautions when leaving the house or letting them out into the yard. About: Hello! I am a pet lover who grew up with Boston terriers from ages 10-12 (20+). I also grew up working with dogs (Border Collies) on ranches, working side by side on various tasks. Because of my experience and comfort with dogs, I have been dog-sitting for friends and family my whole life. I have some experience caring for cats, including my sisters' and friends' cats (5+ years). I am very active and can exercise or entertain your pet with play or runs. I have rarley met a dog that I wasn't able to build trust with. I am a graduate student whose internship starts on the 27th of July. So I have complete availability then. Outside of that, I am typically free after 5 pm on weekdays and completely free on weekends. I ensure to follow all the rules the pet owner has established. I will use commands and language the dog is familiar with to avoid confusion. I make sure the pets are exercised 2-3 times a day. Cleaned and brushed if needed. I am mindful of water intake and make sure that all pets are kept on their usual schedule.
