“We needed someone to watch our older dog while we were away for a week. Being new to the area we really didn't know anyone and we wanted our dog to be in a home environment where she wouldn't be alone. My wife found Cynthia on Rover and we went over to meet her. We were immediately impressed by the secure yard and surroundings. Our dog immediately bonded with her little dog Chewey. To make sure, we arranged two "play days" to make sure that all went well. Everything went better than expected and I, being an overly protective pet parent, felt at ease with leaving our dog for a week. I had nothing to worry about. Cynthia took great care of our dog, sent us regular updates including pictures and videos. She let our dog settle-in at her house where ever our dog felt most at ease and took her out for regular walks and time in the yard. When we came back we found that our dog had such a good time that I'm not sure she wanted to leave! Needless to say that Cynthia will be our first choice to watch our dog whenever the need arises! What I liked was her honesty that Pilar had anxiety and wasn't initially social with anyone. So she sent pictures of Pilar hiding in the corner or shared she went under the bed. She also shared her eating pattern. I would recommend her and use her again. If your a laid back pet parent with a no super fussy or high maintenance pet, give her a try. She reminds of the neighborhood college babysitter that everyone loves and uses for a parents night or weekend out.”
