I've always had pets my entire life, whether it's dogs, cats, or even guinea pigs, I love them all! I previously worked in the PetsHotel at Petsmart for several years where I was able to get experience working with just about every type of dog you could imagine, and am now working as a dog groomer at Petco. I have experience with aggressive dogs, dogs that are shy or scared of people, elderly dogs, dogs with disabilities such as being blind or unable to walk. My work at Petco and PetSmart have both provided me with extensive training in dog handling and safety, as well as dog behavior and body language. I currently do not have any pets, sadly my dog Tucker passed away earlier this year at the age of 14, and since it will be a while before I'm ready to get another dog of my own, pet sitting has been a great way to still be able to experience the joy of having pets in my home!

Our usual dog sitter was unable to care for our dog so we had to find someone very last minute to leave her with for a long 8 day stay. Our dog is sweet but can be very anxious. We’ve only left her with family or our dog sitter that we’ve had for 5+ years so we were hesitant to find another one. Came across Danielle’s profile and thought she’d be a perfect fit and she was!! :-) Danielle was very sweet and has good experience working with all types of dogs. Our dog warmed up and had a great stay! We saw our dog in good spirits when we came back to get her, highly recommend!!🤗

Danielle was wonderful watching our dog Pepper somewhat last minute for a work trip. She was very flexible with our drop off/pickup and super communicative. Pepper seemed to love her!

Schedule
I currently work part time in the grooming salon at Petco and my shifts range between 5-7 hours, 3-4 days out of the week. Because of this, I do require that any dogs I am sitting in my home either be crate trained, or can be trusted to be left home during the day without having accidents or destroying property. I will be home every evening and am able to come home on my lunch break for potty breaks, if needed. Same goes for dog walking, drop in visits, and house sitting. My work schedule is somewhat flexible so I can usually make adjustments as needed. Starting mid-February, once I complete my dog grooming training, I will be working part time hours and will only be working about 3 days per week.

A typical day
I like to cater my care depending on the dog. Whether your dog is a couch potato who loves cuddles, a toy obsessed pup, or a high energy dog that needs lots of walks and mental stimulation, I will make sure they are cared for and happy!
