“Christel is extremely communicative and responsive....but most importantly, our dog genuinely enjoys his walks with her. She does a thorough job walking him around the neighborhood, allowing plenty of time for sniffing.....AND she has the patience to deal with our cranky old dog when he just doesn't wanna go outside. She's successfully lured him downstairs and coaxed him into his much needed walks several times. She is our regular walker for a reason!! Highly recommend.”

About: Hi there! I’m Heather, and I’m a cat lady. My cats have allowed me to join this app. They are used to me coming home smelling like other animals. GASP! I used to be extremely anxious when I would have to leave my cats overnight, when I traveled for work or was going on vacation. Then a few people recommended the Rover app to me, and I found an amazing cat sitter. I still miss my feline overlords when I am away now, but I don’t worry as much about how they are doing or what they are getting in to. I want to do the same for you. Go on your trip knowing that your best fur friends are in good hands! I have always had cats in my life, and I can’t imagine how dull my life would be without them. I am always looking to make new fur friends, so I would love to meet your pets. I currently have 3 cats of my own, but occasionally have more. They just seem to find me, and I never turn away an animal in need. I have also done some pet rescue work and help to maintain two feral cat colonies near my home. Have cats with medical needs? No problem! I am a registered nurse (for humans), and adopt cats who have been abandoned or surrendered because of medical issues. I believe every soul deserves love and to feel safe, despite what their medical issues might be. I have had cats with diabetes who needed insulin, kidney disease and needed sub-q IV fluids, kitty dementia, deafness, IBD, mega colon, FIV, hemophilia, and the worst of all…major catitude! I am comfortable giving medications, insulin, and whatever else your furry friend might need. I am also not afraid of “mean” kitties or “hissy” kitties. I just meet them where they are, and do my best to convince them that I just want to be friends. I am also comfortable administering medications/treatments to dogs, I just have more experience with cats. I work nightshift and have a different schedule every week, but I would (and have) go without sleep to make sure all the kitties in my care get what they need and have fun while their parents are away. I do have my own car and of course would take your cat to their veterinarian if the need ever arises.

“Briana is great and our puppy Radar loves her! She comes almost daily to let out 14 week puppy our while we are at work. Since he doesn’t walk the full 30 minutes, she lets him out then plays with him for a remainder of the time! How sweet! She always updates us with the cutest pictures as well. Something unique and special about Briana is she works WITH you, she isn’t just here to make the money but love and care for your dog just as you would yourself. Thank you so much Briana!”

“Maya was fantastic help for me and my boy Basil, he was happy to go for walks with her. She always came on time to give my boy a solid walk he needed. We are very happy and want to say Thank you!”

“Shawna is so amazing and patient with my very shy dog. He was in love with her after only meeting her twice. I was surprised how quick she got him to warm up. She has been extremely reliably over the past 3 months of walking Apollo, and had never missed a day. She is a total lifesaver for me and my dog. I feel very fortunate to have come across her here on Rover!”

“Such wonderful attention to detail. My dog absolutely loved Yasemin and she was treated with the utmost care and gentleness. Yasemin is very communicative and rapid with her responses as well. I would recommend Yasemin to anyone.”

About: As a lifelong animal lover, I have taken care of many pets throughout my life. I love taking dogs out for long walks, I am patient and reliable, with older pets and can care for energetic puppies. I am currently a graduate student at Villanova working part-time. I only have classes once a week right now and my part-time has not started yet. I have plenty of time during the week to care for your pet(s)! When caring for pets in a client’s home, my top priorities are safety, respect, and consistency. I always follow the pet’s routine exactly as instructed — from feeding and walk times to special medications. I treat every home with care and cleanliness, making sure pets stay comfortable in their familiar environment. I give frequent updates with photos so owners feel reassured, and I’m happy to communicate through text or calls depending on your preference. Whether it’s locking up securely, cleaning up messes, or ensuring a fun experience for your pet, I make sure your pet — and your home — is in great hands while you're away.

About: I have experience from young dogs to old cats. I believe that compassion and patience are the key to quality care for the important animals in your lives I am currently a student at Ithaca college and I am a recruit for the women's varsity rowing team. Pet care fits into my schedule whenever a pet parent may need help. My class and practice schedule does provide some time constraints but I am able to work with the pet parents to make sure their pets are properly taken care of. Before moving into college I had given my two cats full time care for their daily, medical, and emotional needs. I had always been at their attention due to some of the issues my own pets have which provides me insight into what a pet may be going through and allowing me to act quickly when something may be happening. Because I am in college my cats care is now in my parents hands which provides no restraints to how I can care for other peoples pets.

About: I don’t just watch pets, I genuinely connect with them. I’ve cared for everything from high energy puppies to senior dogs with medication needs. I pay close attention to each dog’s personality, routine, and comfort level so they feel safe and loved while you’re away. I started dog sitting as a business this past summer after years of watching pets for friends and family. I realized how much I loved it and decided to turn my passion into something more. Since then, I’ve had the joy of caring for all kinds of dogs, from tiny toy poodles to big, lovable Rottweilers. While I’m still growing my reviews on Rover, I have glowing testimonials from many families I’ve worked with outside the app. What sets me apart from other sitters is my patience, reliability, and strong intuition with animals. I treat every dog like family, not just a job. Whether your pup needs a belly rub, a specific feeding routine, or extra reassurance if they’re nervous, I notice the little things and take them seriously. I also send lots of photos and updates so you always feel connected. I’m a full time college student, and dog sitting helps me pay for my education, so when you book with me, you’re not just hiring someone who loves dogs, you’re also supporting a student working hard to fund her future. During the school year, I’m based in Philadelphia (zip code 19122), where I live in a spacious apartment with a fenced yard, perfect for pups who need outdoor time. My apartment is about 20 minutes from Delco! So it’s not far at all if you’re located in delco! During summer and holiday breaks, I stay at my family’s home in Delaware County PA, which also has a fenced yard and plenty of space for your dog to relax and play. Your dog will never be left alone for long, I’m home most evenings and weekends, and even when I step out, there’s always someone around to give your pup the love and care they deserve And just for fun, if you have a Bernese Mountain Dog, please book with me immediately. They’re my dream dog, and I’ll probably cry (in a good way). I’m home the majority of the time! I only have a few college classes, four on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and just one class on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I also work twice a week for only four hours, and my job is right next to my apartment. I often go home between classes, so your dog won’t be left alone for long at all. I make sure pets get plenty of attention, love, and potty breaks throughout the day Your dog’s safety is my top priority. I have a spacious, fenced backyard for supervised outdoor play and plenty of space indoors to relax. My home is pet-friendly with gates and safety measures from when we had our own dog, so your pet will be comfortable and secure. I’m attentive, patient, and always make sure pets are never left alone for long periods. Whether your dog is high-energy or prefers quiet cuddles, they’ll be loved, watched, and treated like family every step of the way.
