“Omg! We are so lucky to have found Leah! We had a kitten who is a very scared girl, and Leah was able to help her feel comfortable and safe after she was hiding for a few hours. I was so nervous biscuit wouldn’t warm up and I would be worrying about her during our whole trip but Leah is literally such a pro she was able to ease biscuit out of hiding and comfortable in no time! She sent me pictures and updates to ease my mind. She also was a great chef for our picky eater who eats freeze dried raw food (which other people always struggle to make the way sniffers likes it). Overall we are so pleased with Leah and her husband and would recommend her to anyone!!!!”

About: I have experience with big and small dogs, including seniors and dogs with anxiety and special needs. I know each dog is different and will make sure your pup has their needs met! I’m very attentive and diligent and will take care to follow any specific instructions you have. I communicate a lot and tend to give plenty of updates. I currently have no pets of my own but I used to have a large dog and learned a lot through experience and working with multiple trainers during that time. I’m very available to sit or walk as needed right now as I’m taking a break from my corporate job to explore other paths. Willing to be flexible! I have no other pets or dependents so I will be fully dedicated to your pup. I always keep safety first especially as a former reactive dog owner, and I will always be respectful of your property.

“It was the first time we left our rescue boxer for anything more than an overnight once or twice. Robyn kept this anxious boxer mom at ease with being available for check-ins (in addition to proactively sending updates); keeping up with our busy, daily routine; and leaving the house in better shape than we left it. Already booked Robyn for the next trip!”

“We are so glad that we found Olivia. It was great to be able to keep our senior dog in the comfort of her own home. She wasn't intimidated by our dog, who is friendly but is large with a big bark. She was reliable and a very kind person. We would highly recommend her for your dog sitting needs.”

“Giana was such a great help to us when we had an impromptu over night trip. She was very communicative and sent so many pictures of our Shiloh! I would absolutely recommend booking with her and I can guarantee your pet will be happy too!”

About: I had many types of animals growing up, including cats and dogs. As an adult, I had a cat named Ava and a dog named Elphie. I rescued Ava from a local shelter, and she lived to be 20 years old. I raised Elphie from a puppy. She crossed the Rainbow Bridge at age 16. I have experience caring for both young and senior animals and experience administering medications. I am a mom to twins and a local teacher. During the school year I am able to care for pets in the evenings and on weekends. During the summer my availability is much more open. I love all of the animals that I care for as if they were my own. Cats and dogs are the most wonderful pets. They provide us with years of cuddles and laughter.

Penn Valley pet parents share their Rover experiences
We feel so lucky to have found Leah! She is super accommodating and really great with cats, she really went out of her way to help make Biscuit and Sniffies feel comfortable and safe. You can tell she gets it and has a big heart for animals 😊 She sent updates every day and made sure to let us know how the cats were doing. Would highly recommend her!!!

Jacqueline is such a great dog sitter. She’s attentive to the dogs needs, great with communication and updates, and made us feel at ease that we left our dogs in more than capable hands. 10/10 We will absolutely be hiring her again for our pups. 😊

Angela was absolutely amazing! She took incredible care of our cat Pixie and our dog Churro while we were away. From the thoughtful updates to the sweet photos, it was clear they were both happy, relaxed, and in great hands. We came home to two very content pets—and an incredibly clean house, which was such a lovely surprise. Angela went above and beyond in every way, and we wouldn’t hesitate to book her again.
