I’m Alexandra, a lifelong animal lover and sitter of dogs🐾 I know how important it is to find someone you genuinely trust with your pets, so I treat every animal in my care with the same patience, attention, and love I would want someone to give my own. I’m comfortable caring for dogs with different personalities, energy levels, and routines—from playful puppies who need lots of attention and potty breaks to adult dogs who are happiest going for a walk and curling up on the couch afterward. I understand that every pet is different, and I’m happy to follow your normal feeding schedule, walking routine, training cues, crate routine, medication instructions, or any other preferences that help your pet feel comfortable and secure. I work remotely, so your dog will always have a companion home with them to make sure they are getting all the love and attention they need. I’ve always been the go-to person for my family and friends when they need someone they trust to care for their pets, but my experience goes beyond pet sitting. When I lived in Austin, Texas, I spent about a year fostering dogs and puppies, which gave me hands-on experience caring for animals with different personalities, needs, and backgrounds. That’s actually how I ended up with my dog Cosmo—I was a proud “foster fail” and couldn’t bring myself to let him go! If I had the space, I probably would have adopted every foster dog and cat that came through my home. These days, pet sitting gives me the perfect excuse to spend time with more animals without constantly bringing another one home. 😂 I genuinely love caring for pets and treat every animal like they’re one of my own. As a pet parent myself, I also know how stressful it can be leaving your dog with someone new. I’m very communicative and will happily send plenty of photos, videos, and updates so you never have to wonder how your pet is doing. 📸💕 Outside of pet sitting, I work professionally as a program and events coordinator, so being organized, dependable, communicative, and attentive to details is a huge part of my everyday life. In my free time, I love spending time with my dogs, baking, doing crafts and nails, traveling, building LEGO sets, and relaxing at home. Pet care is already a big part of my everyday routine since I have two dogs of my own. I’m used to planning my day around feeding schedules, potty breaks, walks, playtime, training, and plenty of attention and cuddles. I work from home, which gives me a lot of flexibility throughout the day and allows me to spend plenty of time with the pets in my care rather than leaving them alone for long periods. I’m also very much a homebody, so when I’m not working or running an occasional errand, I’m usually at home with my pets. Adding another furry guest into my routine comes very naturally to me, and I’m happy to adjust my schedule around their normal routine so they feel as comfortable and at home as possible. 🐾💕 I always try to keep each pet’s routine as close to normal as possible, whether I’m caring for them in my home or theirs. I follow the owner’s instructions for feeding, walks, potty breaks, medications, crate routines, playtime, and any other special needs or preferences. I know every pet has their own personality, so I adjust my care depending on whether they love constant attention and cuddles or prefer a little more space and independence. When pets stay in my home, safety is my biggest priority. I have dogs of my own, but I always keep my pets separated from my guests’ pets rather than assuming unfamiliar animals will get along. This allows every pet to have their own comfortable, safe space and gives owners peace of mind. My apartment complex also has a dog park, so if you are comfortable with your dog using it, I’m happy to take them there for some extra exercise and playtime. If dog parks aren’t your preference, that’s completely fine too! I’m more than happy to take them on long walks and strolls around my complex or visit nearby parks instead. I’ll always follow whatever you feel is safest and most appropriate for your dog. I’m very attentive and spend plenty of time checking in, playing, walking, cuddling, and making sure pets are comfortable throughout their stay. I also send regular photos and updates because I know how reassuring it is to see that your pet is happy and doing well while you’re away. 🐾💕

About: I have loved animals all my life. Since I was a young boy, I was raised around my family’s and my own cats, dogs, and all different kinds of pets. Dogs is my specialty, but I know what it takes to properly take care of and handle various different kinds of pets. I have my own beautiful dog, Ziya who is a 4 year old Belgian Malinois and Akita mix and I have had her since she was 8 weeks old. I personally trained her as well while I was in the military, which also gave me more knowledge on dog training and handling. I’m currently a full time student so I have more than enough time to pet sit. I am only unavailable on Tuesdays because I have my in-person class those days. I have my own home with a pet as well so I know what it takes to take care of the home and pets as well. I am very comfortable with other people pets and rules and boundaries with their animals, as I know ever animals deserves their respect and care they need.

Having raised my own dog from puppyhood through his senior years, I bring valuable experience in puppy training and senior pet care. I currently follow a hybrid work schedule, primarily working from home. This allows me the flexibility to regularly check in on my furry friends, spend quality time cuddling, and take them for walks as needed. The specific days may vary week to week. On days when I work from the office, I am available to visit after 5:30 PM. My community complex has two dog parks which I can use to give off leash exercise. The area is also great for taking a stroll (on leash) and getting those steps in.

About: Animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember, and caring for them is something I genuinely love. I’ve spent years caring for my own dog, who experiences seizures, and my senior cat, whom I lovingly cared for through his final years. I studied veterinary medicine throughout high school, completed an intensive summer program at Cornell’s College of Veterinary Medicine, earned a biology degree, and most recently interned rehabilitating New Jersey wildlife. I’m comfortable reading body language, recognizing concerning symptoms, administering medications, and providing canine and feline first aid and CPR. I’m detail-oriented and attentive to each pet’s needs, while also loving to play with energetic pets and keep them happy, engaged, and exercised! I’m available 7 days a week, day and night, for boarding clients, so your pet will have plenty of company and attention throughout their stay. I keep feeding and bathroom breaks consistent with their usual routine to help them feel comfortable and settled. We’ll typically go for a walk after lunch, with additional activity based on your pet’s needs. Playtime is tailored to their temperament and mood; whether they’re energetic and ready to play, or prefer some quiet cuddles and downtime. My goal is to keep their routine familiar, comfortable, and fun while they’re away from home. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have an unfenced yard, so all outdoor time is kept safely on leash. Pets are supervised closely throughout their stay, and I’m happy to use their crate if one is provided and it’s part of their normal routine. I also have a portable pet gate that can be used to safely section off the kitchen or stairs when needed. I want every pet to feel comfortable, secure, and cared for while giving owners peace of mind that their pets are in a safe and attentive environment.
