About: I’ve taken care of pets most of my life. I love dogs, and am always the go-to for friends and family when they need a pet sitter. I work full time as a teacher, so my schedule is open during the summer months. The rest of the year, I am available weekdays after 5pm, and most weekends. My own dog was crate trained, but I am comfortable with both crated and free roaming pets. About: I have loved animals all my life. Since I was a young boy, I was raised around my family’s and my own cats, dogs, and all different kinds of pets. Dogs is my specialty, but I know what it takes to properly take care of and handle various different kinds of pets. I have my own beautiful dog, Ziya who is a 4 year old Belgian Malinois and Akita mix and I have had her since she was 8 weeks old. I personally trained her as well while I was in the military, which also gave me more knowledge on dog training and handling. I’m currently a full time student so I have more than enough time to pet sit. I am only unavailable on Tuesdays because I have my in-person class those days. I have my own home with a pet as well so I know what it takes to take care of the home and pets as well. About: Animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember, and caring for them is something I genuinely love. I’ve spent years caring for my own dog, who experiences seizures, and my senior cat, whom I lovingly cared for through his final years. These experiences taught me the importance of patience, attentiveness, and understanding that every pet has their own needs and personality. My passion for animals has also led me to pursue extensive academic and hands-on experience. I studied veterinary medicine throughout high school, completed an intensive summer program at Cornell’s College of Veterinary Medicine, earned a biology degree, and most recently interned rehabilitating New Jersey wildlife. We’ll typically go for a walk after lunch, with additional activity based on your pet’s needs. Playtime is tailored to their temperament and mood; whether they’re energetic and ready to play, or prefer some quiet cuddles and downtime. My goal is to keep their routine familiar, comfortable, and fun while they’re away from home. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have an unfenced yard, so all outdoor time is kept safely on leash. Pets are supervised closely throughout their stay, and I’m happy to use their crate if one is provided and it’s part of their normal routine. I also have a portable pet gate that can be used to safely section off the kitchen or stairs when needed. I want every pet to feel comfortable, secure, and cared for while giving owners peace of mind that their pets are in a safe and attentive environment.
