“Nicole was great! Murphy is a very energetic puppy and nicole was able to manage his energy while on walks and continue with our training regimen for him! She was excited to stay and play with Murphy for some TLC after his walks! She was on time and stayed for the chosen time slot we agreed on. Even accommodated to the bad weather we had! We will definitely be having her again to watch our Murphy!”

About: I've taken care of dogs ever since I was 12. I have taught my own dogs many tricks, take them on frequent walks, and provide lots of love! I make sure they have fresh water, food, and clean fur. I enjoy playing with small dogs gently and with care! I am a Kindergarten teacher that is currently available all summer long! I enjoy being active and keeping busy. Tending to animals has always been a passion of mine during my down time. I currently do not own any pets at the moment. When I did, I made sure to take my dogs for several walks, feed them with quality meals, change their water, and make sure their area is safe from hazardous items before leaving the house.
About: I have taken care of my friends pets for a few years now, either going over to their house to check on them, let them out and play with them or even taking them on walks. I currently have 3 dogs at home, and I have been taking care of them since they were puppies as well as the dogs I have had previously as well. I know how to handle small dogs and medium/large dogs, whether it comes to walks or just checking in to play with them, or let them out for the bathroom. I am currently working a part-time job, so I have all the time during the day to walk dogs and care for them. I am free anytime after 9 am. I currently have three dogs of my own at home. I play with them a lot inside the house when it gets too hot, and every few hours I let them out for the bathroom and play and tire them out, when outside, depending on how hot it is. I walk around outside with them to get some walking in up and down our driveway.
“Kelly keeps safety as one of her top priorities when walking our senior dog. With his limited eyesight, his other senses are keyed up a little more. She keeps him moving along if there are sidewalk snacks and quick to react if needed. Highly recommend hiring Kelly!”

About: Lifelong animal lover with hands-on experience caring for pets of all sizes and personalities. I grew up with a Labrador who was part of my family for 16 wonderful years, which taught me patience, responsibility, and genuine love for animals from an early age. Since the age of 17, I have worked as a pet sitter caring for both dogs and cats, providing dependable, attentive, and loving care tailored to each pet’s needs. Whether it’s walks, feeding, playtime, medication, or simply keeping your pet company while you’re away, I treat every animal as if they were my own. I have been around animals my entire life and truly understand how important it is to find someone trustworthy and caring to look after your pets.I treat every pet with patience, affection, and attention as if they were part of my own family. I work full-time during the week, but I work from home two days a week and am fully available on weekends, which allows me to dedicate quality time and care to pets staying with me. Even when I am not home, my husband is home, so there is always someone present to supervise, keep company, and care for your pets. This means your furry family members will never feel alone and will always receive attention, comfort, and care throughout the day. Whether your pet loves playtime, cuddles, walks, or simply a calm and safe environment, I adapt to their needs and routine to make them feel comfortable and happy while you’re away. About: Having a small tiny dog(chihuahua) of my own, I've learned to be creative with the activities that we do as well as find different places to take her for walks. My dog is very temperamental, so I've had to increase my own training skills to be able to be a better pet mom. I'm open to trying new things and I'm great at following instructions. I am extremely dependable and I pride myself on always being on time and communicating when things don't go as planned. I love all dogs and will take care of yours as if its my own. My specific availability is Monday thru Friday 6 AM-8 AM and anytime after 5 PM. I have open availability on the weekends which is where I hope to do the most work. I work from home two days a week (Monday and Tuesday)and am off on weekends so I have plenty of time to fit in long weekend boardings. I have a fenced in yard which makes it easy to carve out play time or potty breaks. My neighborhood is extremely dog friendly and there is a dog park within walking distance.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
