“Jordan is a pleasure to work with, she took exceptional care of our older cat and this time she also cared for our two new kittens. We came home to a happy bunch of kitties. Thanks Jordan!”

“Janyse checked in on our five(!) cats while we were on a 10-day vacation, and I couldn't have been more pleased that I chose her! From her first introductory visit, where our cats immediately loved her, I knew this would be a great fit. What's special about Janyse is that she doesn't seem to do this for money or as a job, but because she truly enjoys the animals she works with. She always seemed delighted to have spent time with them! She was diligent and took great care of the cats, but this joy in doing her job is what really sets her apart. Plus, her daily reports were so much fun! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Janyse to anyone.”

“Lisa is the best! She takes amazing care of my two kitties. She was available super last minute so I was able to go out of town for a night. I know I don’t have to worry when she watches my furry children!”

“Amy was great with our kitties! We were so grateful she was willing to do a meet and greet beforehand. She was very communicative, organized, and kind to our cats! We will definitely keep her in mind for future drop ins!”

“Leaving a pet at home when we go on a trip has always been stressful for us. This was our first time using Rover and we are so glad we did. Kim did an amazing job looking after our cat while we were away. She was punctual, which we were grateful for, so as to keep our kitty's routine as normal as possible. We received daily pictures, as well as texts, on how each visit went. She was quick to respond to all of my text messages and just gave us such peace of mind knowing things were being done just as we would do them while were gone. We will absolutely be contacting Kim in the future for all of our pet sitting needs. Couldn't be happier!”

About: I love all animals! I have previously owned and trained a Belgian Malinois rescue and a lab/pit rescue. Both wonderful dogs. I am a navy vet, dog owner and dog lover. I use positive reinforcement training methods, and I know how to read the body languages of animals. I am respectful, neat, and I'll make sure you pet is well taken care of! I offer dog sitting, and occasional boarding services. You can rest easy with the knowledge that if you hire me, they will be my number one priority. I will communicate at least once a day, and more if requested. I live in an apartment and WFH full time, so I'll be able to provide ample attention to your dog! Not that they might need it because my puppy Orion will be begging them to play nonstop! I monitor play time continuously to make sure they get along well. Sometimes if a client's dog DOESN'T want to play I make sure Orion leaves them alone. He'll just be whining on the couch. No matter the size of your dog, I'll make sure they are safe and comfortable. Orion has had experience playing with 100lb German shepherds and snauzers to mini pinchers. He loves all dogs that will play with him.

“This is the 2nd time we called upon Katija and for almost a 2 week trip! She put my mind at ease with daily texts letting us know Arwen was doing well and she took on a few extra tasks like emptying/cleaning out the litter box like a champ. Thank you for taking good care of our little fur baby!!”

About: Hello there, I have just retired and have a lot of time to stop by and check in or walk your furry pets. We have a place between Silverdale and Poulsbo and I have had cats and dogs most of my life. Currently have three cats and one German Shorthair Pointer who I spend a lot of time exercising and walking. We have lots of animals on our small Poulsbo plot and with growing up around farms in MN, I have lots of experience with animals and would never want to be without them. I know what it is like to go on vacation and have to find someone to feed all my furry family so if I can help with that I am willing!!!!! Currently I am free for stop in visits or dog walks Monday thru Saturday. I am free from early in the morning until 7pm at night. I used Rover myself when in need it for visits before I retired due to my long days at work. We have someone we trusted come in our house from Rover to check in on our GSP and our Cats.

“Went above and beyond! So very thankful for Lisa’s help with my animals. I had a cat and rabbit and she took excellent care of both, even cleaned their cage areas and gave them lots of love and pictures!”

About: I'm very good at following directions for a pets specific needs and I've worked with a few dog trainers in my day and have learned how to read and respect a dogs and cats boundaries while also been clear and patient enough to finish whatever task we are doing. I'm a part-time student, an artist and I work minimally at a job so I have an extremely workable schedule. Even if I have a shift I can make time for a pet on my lunch break, if ever necessary. I'm non-smoker/vaper I grew up with two family dogs and we always had cats around, walking dogs daily was drilled into me as necessary, if not more if they do not have a safe yard. Currently I have two cats in a smaller house so I'm accustomed to cleaning the litter box twice a day and plenty of play time to get the zooming out! And of course pets and love for all.

About: I've been around animals most of my life and have spent lots of time taking care of them whether they be my own, friends, or relatives Just finished my first year at college and currently on summer break so I have plenty of free time available to help out however I can. If they are low energy I usually stay inside with them, take them out when needed, make sure they have water, fed at the right time, etc. If they're high energy then I take them for a walk, play in a fenced yard, nearby dog park, or if there is a good place inside the house to do so then maybe there as well. It all comes down to what the pets need at what time.

About: I usually introduce myself as Bailey – Irish Cream, Bailey – every yellow lab I’ve ever met, or Bailey – from WKRP in Cincinnati. And yes, it’s my real name, guess I was destined to be a dog lover! I grew up in the beautiful PNW with my grandparents, where we raised dachshunds and had a few beloved springer spaniels. One of my favorite photos ever is from my senior pictures—featuring Miss Margaret May, our sweet spaniel. Check it out in my photo gallery! My first dachshund, Corky, came into my life when I was 13, and he’s still with me today. He’s my heart dog—wherever I went, he went too. I promise to show your dog (or cat!) the same love, patience, and loyalty I’ve always given my own. These days, I’m a proud fur mama to: Corky – 16, Doxie, my heart dog Isabeau – 6, rescue Chiweenie and reactive spitfire Lillian – 6, rescue Tabby mix with an old lady soul Jinx – 8, gentle giant Bombay Nico the Freako – 4, rescue Blue Tabby mix and certified chaos goblin I have hands-on dog sitting experience with primarily small to large breeds, as well as cats. I’m confident handling oral medications, senior care, shy pets, and animals with big personalities. Whether it’s puppy zoomies or slow senior strolls, I meet each pet where they are and make sure they feel safe, understood, and loved. I currently work at a school on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, from 7:30a.m.-2:00p.m and I am off Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Which means plenty of time for early morning drop in's, dinner dates, and scheduled evening playtime, snuggles, and walks. Wednesdays I am not available. When caring for your pets in your home, I treat your space like I’m an honored guest. I respect your routines, your belongings, and your pet’s comfort above all. To keep you connected and reassured, I’m happy to leave detailed notes about what we did during our visit—and send photo updates if you’d like. My goal is to make sure your fur babies receive the loving attention and quality care you not only pay for, but truly expect.

Pearson cat parents share their Rover experiences
This is the second time we had Jessica drop in on our two cats while we were out of town - like last time, we had her come every other day for a period of 3 weeks, so several visits in total. Each time she took care of the cats needs (food, water, litter), but most importantly, she spent time with them - playing with them, sending some pictures of them - all important activities to keep them enriched while we are gone. We have had previous sitters who just took care of the basics and were gone in 20 minutes, but Jessica spends another 10 or more minutes just engaging with them - which is so important to us. I cannot recommend her more highly - she is the best!

Katija took great care of our two cats while we were gone for two weeks. She became good friends with our shy kitty. She fed watered and cleaned litter faithfully every day and spent time petting and giving treats. She also sent pictures and updates everyday which we appreciated. We feel lucky to have had her. She was awesome
