About: I'm a nature lover and natural animal lover—especially doggies. Over the years, I’ve loved and cared for my my own pets: dogs, a rabbit and a cat. Currently, I help care for my aging mom’s little senior Shitzu: weekly walks at a nearby parks, vet care and lite grooming. Comfortable with harness attaching and removal. My own beloved dog passed away a couple of years ago, I still enjoy encounters with other dogs on my daily walks, giving ear rubs and back scratches—dogs just bring me joy. Currently, I’m retired, so my availability is flexible for you and your pet’s needs. I have experience caring for various breeds and size (small to medium size dogs), but I can handle larger senior dogs. I routinely walk at various designated parks and trails in the East Bay. When I pet-sit in my apartment, I inquire about pets regular routine first: walking, feeding, and medication (if necessary). I require they provide their pet’s own: bedding, sleepwear, food and treats and up to date vaccines. I also ask for emergency info: Vet, pet-owner (s), and an alternate contact. Finally, I will send regular updates via text, pictures or videos of your pets outings or stays—live if you like!

“Hannah “JoJo” is such a bright, loving energy. She is so willing to work with any dog. I feel peace that she’s able to take my little buddy out for a walk daily. She is also really patient as my pup was nervous at first and has now opened up to her. She will work with any type of dog and make sure each and every one of them feels loved. Thanks for all the updates throughout the walks and being so communicative. Keep up the great work!”

About: I've grown up owning dogs my whole life, and I own my own dog as well. I honestly think it's impossible to be sad when a dog is in your life, and it is our responsibility to take care of them as best as we can. I would love to spend time and take care of your dog in the event you cannot. They should't have to feel so alone when we are busy! My puppy is very social, kind, and loves to play with other dogs. She is spayed so there is no worry there. I promise to take the best care of your dog, as if it was my own. I am also a strong believer in training dogs and keeping them on their own routine. I am very respectful of the rules or standards that each owner has for their dog, and plan on carrying those out exactly as you ask. I have a very flexible schedule currently and can accommodate many different times. Feel free to reach out and we can find a common time that works for you, your pet and me! Safety and trust are the most important aspect of caring for other animals. They are not just our pets but members of our family and I always keep that in mind. I will send photos and always be transparent about how your dog is doing.

“Is so excellent with my senior pup and is great at communicating on the app. Would recommend Christina!!!”

Ladonna S.
“Ladonna would be an excellent caregiver. She adores animals; and they are drawn to her; and why wouldn't they? Animals are believed to be instinctual beings, and they know a kind and generous person. I have never known her to mistreat any animal; I have only known her as a lover of animals. I know she would excel at this position.”

Maia N.

“Maia was great! Very friendly and you can tell she loves animals. She went out of her way to make sure my often anxious dog felt comfortable around her. Recommend.”

“I am very thrilled to recommend Juan! He has been great with my Rocco my 9 year old German Shepard who he has been walking for years now. Whenever I am out of town I know I can count on his services to take care and look over my Rocco. He is very responsible and attentive with my Rocco and Rocco loves him and is always excited to see Juan. Whether it is for walks or pet-sitting Juan is very reliable which I appreciate so much given my busy schedule. I know I can completely trust him with my fur baby which gives me peace of mind. I highly recommend him and can assure you that your pet will be in excellent hands with Juan.”

They are incredibly responsible, patient, and attentive, and is the kind of person who notices the little details that make pets feel safe and happy. My cat Nilo absolutely adores them, and I always feel at ease knowing my pet is in such good hands. I would highly recommend Renu to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter/walker. Mia A.
“Mia has a gift for working with animals. She started having pets at a young age with fish, mice, hamsters and birds, taking joy in interacting with them, feeding them, always being the first one to notice any health concerns. As she grew older she went to zoo camp, to SCPA camp, and she graduated to counselor sharing her love of animals with other children. Over the last few years she has regularly walked her many dogs, cleaned up after them, made sure they received needed vet care and nursed them back to health after surgery or illness. When younger, she would walk her two Chihuahua mixes, and helped care for them as they aged, became less mobile, and needed extra attention and medications. As a young adult, she raised one puppy Pit Bull from 6 weeks (now 5 years old), and adopted a mistreated Pit/Lab mix, who is now her best friend and companion. She is excellent at ensuring their routines are followed and spending quality time with them. She uses treats wisely, and has trained her dogs to follow her lead, sit and wait when commanded. She ensures regular vet care and gives medications, applies lotions and other vet-prescribed care with kindness. As she has started dog walking and care professionally, she has been a reliable, trusted caregiver. She has demonstrated her capacity with all types of dogs and her understanding that dogs not only need food, water and walking or play, but also interaction, reassurance, and love. I admire her ease with and love for animals, and am glad she can share her gift with other pet owners.”

Kerri C.

“Kerri is amazing on walks with our energetic and reactive dog Buster! She's very kind and calm with him, and he responds so well with her. We also appreciate how prompt and communicative Kerri has been.”

Cynthia R.

“Cynthia was a great walker with our dog Rocky! She took him on long walks and he was a happy and tired pup every day. Very responsive as well. Thank you Cynthia!”

Emily K.
“Emily took such great care of our dogs! She showed up right when she said she would (our neighbors let her in) and followed all our instructions to a t, kept us updated with photos, and gave our pups lots of love and exercise. She has a way with dogs and our pups felt calm and well loved when we returned. We felt totally at ease while traveling knowing they were in such good hands.
