About: I am a grad student looking to help with dog sitting. My weekends are devoted to studying and exercising, the perfect combo for hanging out with dogs! My friends have always entrusted me with watching their dogs while they travel. I have tons of experience with dogs of all sizes from shih-tzu's to huskies! Currently, trying to convince my girlfriend to let us get a dog, but excited to make some new dog friends in the meantime! I have full availability on the weekends (Friday 2PM - Monday 7AM). My typical availability during the week is from 5PM-7AM. Outside of these hours I am attending classes. I am a student in the health care profession, so my first concern is always safety. Having lived with a husky for several years, I understand how difficult it can be to get a dog back inside after they have gotten out. I am always extremely careful making sure dogs do not get out of the house without a leash or the owner's permission in a gated area. I also pay very close attention whenever a dog is near other dogs, people, or acting out of the ordinary. I am always reachable by phone for pictures, check-ins, and FaceTimes. I do my best to follow every guideline set forth by the parents and to keep all dogs safe and happy.

About: I have been an owner of my dog, Scout for 13 years. Over those 13 years, I have learned how to care for animals. I have volunteered for the humane society for the past 5 years as well! I am currently working during the mornings of each weekend so I am pretty flexible during the weekdays. I can care for your pet during any hour of the day during the week! I feed, walk, and shower my dog with attention each day. I will treat your pet the same way mine would want to be treated.

About: I’ve taken care of friends and families animals since I was 10. We always had every kind of animal in the house growing up, from rats to cats and everything in between. Recently my senior dog (Tug) passed and I have missed interacting with animals. I am currently working remotely in west Hartford! Looking to get some animal time in mostly during the mornings, late afternoon, evening and on weekends. Please reach out to confirm availability! Please let me know if there is anything special that I can do to enhance your pets time with me! Every animal is different and I want to make sure they feel as comfortable as possible!

“Kanwar was great! Scout picked up the good vibes immediately and got along very well. Kanwar was responsive and very considerate. For example, he went out of his way to check Scout’s water bowl was full after his walk on a hot day.”

About: I’ve taken care of all types of animals big and small furry or reptilian! I’m comfortable with different energy levels and sizes and willing to put in the work to get to know your pet and make sure they are comfortable! I work from home with very flexible hours so I can accommodate many different schedules during business hours and throughout the rest of the day I live in an apartment so will not be caring for pets in my home, but I am very careful and thorough with all pet care instructions.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs all my life; my first was a black lab, and I’ve been hooked ever since. I’ve helped train, walk, and care for our family’s three dogs, who are truly my world. I’m willing to go the extra mile for your dog(s), whether it’s playing, going to the dog park, or just giving them love 🐶❤️ I just completed my last internship at law school and now have a very flexible schedule that will allow me to petsit full time for the summer and fall of this year. I’m available during the week and on weekends! In my home, I make sure pets feel comfortable, safe, and loved by creating a calm, pet-friendly environment with plenty of playtime, cuddles, and routine. In a client’s home, I stick closely to their pet’s normal schedule and care instructions, keeping things consistent to help them feel at ease. Doesn’t matter if it’s feeding, walking, cleaning up, or just giving them attention: I treat every pet like my own.

“Carla is very good with my shy golden retriever. I am very appreciative that she is walking with my dog. She is very friendly and easy to talk. Also she can control big dog well, too. I am definitely recommend her to take care dog.”

About: I currently have no dogs but have 5 back home in Colorado whereI grew up on a ranch and now simply miss having so many animals around so I'd love to take care of yours to fill that pet gap in my heart! I'm used to pets big and small and know I'll love and care for your dogs or cats as if it were my own. I'm pretty flexible and am only out of town a few weekends this summer! My other jobs for summer are also flexible so any pets can be my priority this summer. I love to exercise pups or give them love whichever they need! I'm experienced with having to get pets to take their pills for the older ones and I have all the energy needed to play with the younger ones :)

“Thank so much Katie! This was our first time using Rover, and we love that Ramona was quickly so comfortable with Katie, we went out all day and we’re able to enjoy knowing Ramona was in great hands”

About: I have volunteered with dogs for about 5-6 years, including with large dogs and reactive dogs. I also pet sit my friends' dogs. For me, spending time with animals is therapy. I would love to give your dog all the attention they deserve during my visits. Whether it's long walks, snuggle time or a check-in, I will make sure your pet gets the best love and care! I work full-time but my job is flexible. I'm available for drop-ins, overnight stays and walks. The end of the week and weekends are the most open for me. I cannot pet sit at my apartment, but I am comfortable staying in others' homes. This is how I pet sit for my friends. This also helps with pets' comfort, I think.

Christopher S.
“Chris did a great job taking care of my 2 year old shih-tzu, Nellie, back in October who up until that point, only had been watched by my mom when we needed a sitter. I was a bit anxious because of that so I overloaded him with information but Chris took it all with stride. He was patient and sensitive to my dog warming up to him the night I dropped her off. His calm demeanor immediately put Nellie and myself at ease, and I knew everything would be great. Chris watched my dog for a couple of nights and sent me pictures and updates to assure me everything was going smoothly. I highly recommend Chris to anyone who is in need of a pet sitter!”

Jessica H.
“Jess helped take care of my ranch including 7 dogs and 3 cats while I went on vacation for a week last summer. She has been caring for our pets on vacations for the past few years and always is able to keep the animals happy and cared for. She has had to handle emergency vet services with one of our horses before when it got twisted gut while we were away and was able to care for the horse as instructed which allowed it to make a full recovery. She has a great knowledge of what animals need and how to care for them and they seem to love her just as much! We have been fortunate enough to have been able to utilize her for so many years and we highly recommend using her for all of your pet sitting needs!”
