12. talia g.
About: I’ve taken care of many dogs in the past including ones who required medical injections. I also trained my hyper german shepard since she was a puppy so I have knowledge on training tactics and puppies as well! I am a full time student but I am home for the summer and would love to visit your pet and give them the care they need! I would love to walk your pet or care for them in the West Hartford neighborhood. I love to go on walks, play in backyards, or just give some love through pets and cuddles!

13. Madison S.

“Madison has been very reliable , thanks Madison!”

14. Carla A.
“Carla took care of my 3 year old German Shepard, Raylan, while my family and I were on vacation. He is a little tricky and rambunctious, so its important that whover cares for him is a good fit. Carla was amazing! She obviously has a natural affinity for animal care, as she was firm yet super friendly. Raylan was well behaved for her and by the end of the trip he was all tail wags and doggy kisses! She walked, fed, and played with him- no easy task with a large German Shepard on the leash, and who has a tendency for food aggression. As loyal as German Shepards are for those they consider theirs- I think he was truly sad to see her go!”

15. Madeline S.
About: I have volunteered with dogs for about 5-6 years, including with large dogs and reactive dogs. I also pet sit my friends' dogs. For me, spending time with animals is therapy. I would love to give your dog all the attention they deserve during my visits. Whether it's long walks, snuggle time or a check-in, I will make sure your pet gets the best love and care! I work full-time but my job is flexible. I'm available for drop-ins, overnight stays and walks. The end of the week and weekends are the most open for me. I cannot pet sit at my apartment, but I am comfortable staying in others' homes. This is how I pet sit for my friends. This also helps with pets' comfort, I think.

16. Mikayla G.
“Mikayla has grown up with dogs, cats, birds, Guinea pigs, bunnies and hamsters. She is a lover of all animals and they all love her back. She is reliable, responsible and trustworthy. She has experience dog sitting in the dogs home- up to 3 dogs and a cat. She can administer medication and proper food distribution. I highly recommend Mikayla for whatever your pet needs.”

17. Kanwar S.

“Kanwar was great! Scout picked up the good vibes immediately and got along very well. Kanwar was responsive and very considerate. For example, he went out of his way to check Scout’s water bowl was full after his walk on a hot day.”

18. Leah M.

“Leah is the best dog sitter! She was so great with our puppy and sent us lots of pictures and updates. She is so reliable, followed all instructions, and we knew that our dog was in great hands with her!”

19. Katie R.
About: My family and I have been fostering rescue dogs since I was 10. We’ve helped over 30 + dogs find new homes and welcomed them into our home. I am an animal lover first and love dogs of any size. I house sit and dog sit for neighbors, friends, and families. I work part time as a server and bartender. I have a pretty flexible schedule. I am able to take days off for longer sitting jobs, or scheduled advance jobs. I am not able to have pets over at my apartment. For clients, I respect your privacy and follow rules for your pet care and safety.

20. Jillian P.
About: I've been around animals my entire life. From helping train puppies and kittens to assisting older dogs up the stairs, I've done it all. I love animals and promise that yours will be in safe and caring hand Currently, I am a student at the University of Iowa, which means my days can be quite hectic. Despite my busy schedule, I am passionate about caring for animals and have dedicated specific times to be available for pet sitting. You can count on me Monday afternoons and nights, Wednesday and Thursday nights, and all day Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. I maintain a consistent routine for feeding, walks, and playtime to help pets feel secure and comfortable. At the end of the day, both the furry friends and I need consistency and routine. I love getting to know each animal, and spending quality time with them is the best way to do so. If you let me know your pet's favorite things, I will be sure to incorporate them into our time together! I also take precautions to keep pets safe, such as securing any hazardous areas, knowing and understanding their behavior with other dogs and animals, and wrestling anything they may get out of their mouths.
