“10 Stars! Annie took care of our 3 dogs and our house while we were overseas for 2 weeks and did an exceptional job. She is a natural dog sitter and they absolutely loved her. She walked them and sent us updates every day. And she did a terrific job taking care of our house, too! We will be hiring her again in the future.”

“We feel so lucky to have found Maya!! She gave us so many updates while we were away, and we truly felt like she was happy to be with our dogs. We came home to a spotless house and happy dogs!! We highly recommend Maya!!”

“Josh was great! Sent at least one picture or video per day and left the house cleaner than when he got there. This was a long trip for us, and we were very pleased with everything. Would definitely recommend.”

“Catherine was awesome - we had 3 pups under her watch and all were looked after great (walked, fed, and played with) and had a fun. They were tired when we got back, so we know they enjoyed it!”

“Carol was INCREDIBLE! She took such wonderful care of my dog Harper, and was great (and creative!) with her updates. She was also an incredible houseguest, leaving my place better than she found it. I would recommend her care to anyone and look forward to her taking care of Harper again soon!”

“If you’re looking for a reason to book someone-look no further, you won’t be disappointed in Joanna. Joanna and her daughter Amelia were fantastic! I was given updates about my pups consistently making my week vacation worry free with everything at home. Joanna works from home mainly so she was with my dogs throughout the day, major plus. They walked one of my dogs regularly and followed my wishes to not walk the older one, *due to arthritis he can’t do walks. My elderly dog who really doesn’t like people, especially young kids cuddled with Joanna’s daughter, Amelia! That was a sight to see, if she didn’t send the photo I wouldn’t believe it. Heartwarming to see that my angry at life dog was happily cuddling up with someone other than me, what more could you ask for when away from them? When I came home I could very much tell my dogs were taken care of with love and my house was in better shape than I left it for them. I will definitely be using Joanna and her daughter again for future trips.”

“Jillian was great! Good communication and arrived early which was super helpful. I have a uncommon dog breed and she asked plenty of questions about them to better understand their mannerisms. Would absolutely book again. Thank you!”

“Gianna was great and super loving with our animals. She did everything asked, including giving daily medications. She spent tons of time here which is what our needy dogs love. Came home to a clean house and happy pets. Would 100% book again”

“Carla was phenomenal!! I was able to feel relaxed and comfortable while on my vacation as she tended to my two dogs and looked after my house. I would recommend her anytime and will absolutely be using her again!”

About: Since my girlfriend won’t let me get another dog, I thought what better way to temporarily bring them into our home than to dog sit them! We can chat about this. If you have a weekly schedule that’s consistent / the same i can make my work schedule around yours to make myself available. I work weekends, mostly! I have a fenced in yard. I am responsible and will have eyes on your fur baby at all times. Yes, I am that helicopter dog mom! I have one of my own, and I know what it’s like to leave your dog with a stranger. I’ll be sure to send photos all day long, if you’d like. I’m happy to! My dog is lazy- she quite literally sleeps 23 hours a day. She loves company. Other dogs and humans. I just moved out of my families house into my own with my partner, and she misses her puppy cousin (choc lab) bothering her all day long. She’s used to chaos. Aka just “ sleeping “ through it pretending.. I’m sure.. we would love your dogs company. I’d love to do as little or as much with your dog. I could use a dog to get me out of the house. Whether it’s walks around my neighborhood or yours, taking him or her to a brewery if you’d be comfortable. Really whatever you want, I’m sure I’m comfortable with. Also fine going to your place, picking up your baby and bringing to mine.. you dropping off and bringing to me. We can talk! I’m flexible!
About: I’m used to dealing with all types of dogs not just my own and I’ve always been able to adapt to the different behaviors and they always seem to gravitate towards me I’m currently looking for steady part-time work as I recover from past work injuries and take time to figure out my long-term career path for the future Your pet’s safety is my top priority. I’m calm, alert, and always respectful in your home. And will treat your dog like he’s my very own
“Grace is amazing! She spent the week with our 4 babies over Thanksgiving and we didn’t have to worry about a thing! Grace made sure they had plenty of exercise, love and treats; she was quick to respond and sent daily pictures. She was even willing to help out with little things like collecting mail and trash day. We will definitely be keeping in touch with her for future trips!!”

“Vanessa was such a blessing! Our pitty really loved spending the weekend with her. She paid close attention to detail in our instructions and was so thorough. We definitely will be asking Vanessa to come back again for our dog.”

“Katie takes excellent care of our senior pets (2 cats and 1 dog). Everyone stays on their usual schedule, including medication, and they’re in a great mood when we return home.”
About: While my experience is mostly with seniors, I love and have experience with all age ranges. I've also cared for dogs that have had some medical issues and am super attentive to all my fur babies. I currently work full-time, but my hours are extremely flexible. I am in office Thurs-Sun, but my work day can end anywhere between 8am & 3pm. If I have pets in my home, I do provide a bed, feeding bowls, snacks, toys, and a lot of affection. I have a private park across the street as well as a fenced in backyard, depending on what the needs are. I am also located near Bushnell Park in case some extra running around is needed. I am good at giving medicine, if need be.
“Matt did a great job with my dogs! He took good care of the house as well. He was also very flexible as I originally booked him for July but then had a change of plans and luckily he was available in August! Would definitely recommend him!”

West End pet parents share their Rover experiences
Joshua stepped in to help on short notice when I had to travel overnight for a funeral. (I just moved in and wasn’t even completely unpacked yet.) He visited before staying over night to meet my dog and me. He’s a great communicator and sent videos in addition to messages to let me know Scout was doing well. Joshua has a great vibe and made me feel relaxed about handing over my key to a person I just met. The house looked like no one even stayed here. He was great with Scout and I’ll definitely ask him for help on a regular basis.

Matt and Marybeth stayed at our home for 3 days to watch our Newfie. They were absolutely terrific from the first communication through the entire stay— always very prompt, thorough and quickly asked questions as needed. They kept us informed throughout the stay with updates & pics. You can tell from the pics that our Newfie was enjoying her time with them. If we could give them more than 5 stars we would. We plan to use them again.

This was my first time hiring a dog sitter outside of my own family, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience with Isabel. I was impressed from the very start, not only did my dog warm up to her right away, but Isabel immediately made me feel comfortable and confident leaving my dog in her care. She asked all the right questions, offered thoughtful recommendations, and really took the time to understand my dog’s needs and personality. During the stay, Isabel was fantastic with communication, sending regular updates and tons of happy, adorable pictures that gave me such peace of mind. Even when my dog unexpectedly needed an emergency vet visit (through no fault of hers), Isabel was completely on top of it. She could tell something wasn’t right and didn’t hesitate to act. She kept me informed throughout the entire situation and made sure my dog was okay and settled before leaving. On top of that, Isabel was able to watch my sister’s dog alongside mine, and she made the effort to meet both dogs beforehand, asking additional questions to make sure she could care for each of them properly. Every photo I received showed two happy, relaxed pups; it was clear they were in great hands. Overall, Isabel went above and beyond. I will absolutely be booking with her again!

Maya took great care of our dog while we were away. She kept us updated with pictures and check-in messages, and we came home to a clean house. She even went the extra step of stripping the bed and putting the sheets in the washer. We really appreciated her thoughtfulness and would gladly have her sit for us again.

Alyanna took great care of our dog and cat while we were away. Alyanna was very communicative; she checked in with us regularly and sent us lots of pictures of happy pets. Our house was well cared for, as well. We would definitely recommend and book Alyanna for future visits.

Brianna was wonderful with our Doberman, making sure she got plenty of exercise everyday. She was also very accommodating to our changing needs. We received happy pictures of our dog daily. It’s clear Brianna loves dogs and we would love to work with her again.

Saylor was kind enough to take a very last minute booking for me on a weekday afternoon. She responded promptly, communicated well, asked good questions. She was early to the appointment, very friendly and kind in person. (And she’s got cute doggies!) I will absolutely be asking her back.
