1. Lusianna M.

“Finn was well cared for and very happy to have spent the day with Lucy. We will be scheduling more time with Lucy and would confidently recommend her to others.”

2. Hector L.

“Immediately after meeting Hector, we knew he'd be a great fit. Both dogs loved him, even the one who can be a bit particular and moody. He gave regular updates with great pics, was happy to reinforce training and commands we use, and it was everything we could have asked for. As a bonus he has a ton of experience with dogs as he runs a local dog kennel! Highly recommend and will be booking Hector in the future.”

3. Elena G.

“Elena was amazing with our extremely anxious and reactive dog. She was patient with her and made sure to be mindful of other dogs in the neighborhood so she didn’t get scared or overwhelmed. She sent many photos and videos every day so we always had an update of how she was doing. Thank you so much, Elena!”

4. Miranda L.

“Had a great experience with Miranda! She was responsive, asked pointed queries, and was very pleasant generally. She made sure to arrive early as I warned her it was a little tricky to find my building, which was greatly appreciated. Wiyon had a lovely time and I will definitely be reaching out again 😊 Thank you!”

5. Jillian H.

“Detail oriented, thorough, kind, excellent planning and foresight, just awesome! This was my first Rover experience at the time of my booking I had an elderly dog and three cats, we had not gone on vacation in years due to our dog having arthritis and other health issues, but we had gotten her to a point where she was doing really well and we felt we could leave her with someone. I needed someone who could administer meds, live at the house and be otherwise highly attentive to her needs and our cats. I had about given up on some of the people I’d spoken with on Rover, I just didn’t feel comfortable with anyone. Enter Jillian. In our initial texts I got a very positive vibe and immediately liked her. We hadn’t even met yet but I could tell she was a gem. When she came to the house to meet our pets she was aces and again I instinctively knew she was going to be great. Since our meeting our dog very suddenly passed away and when I let Jillian know her response was compassionate and she gave me some time to figure out what we would do. When we spoke again we decided on two visits a day for the cats and she sprang into action to adjust our booking. Jillian was every bit as great as I knew she would be and even surpassed my expectations. This woman is thorough, she thinks ahead, she looks to solve issues even before they happen. We had a snow storm while we were gone and she made sure she got to the house. We received daily photos of all of the cats, who by the way hide from strangers all the time, but not Jillian! I think she’s a cat whisperer of some sort. She was on time for her visits, left the place clean, took her shoes off to walk around the house, so thoughtful!! On prior vacations when I’ve left my pets I always notice they’re a little ‘off’ when I return, not with Jillian. They were very much themselves which speaks volumes. I highly highly highly recommend her. We are already booking another trip because this was the first time in years that I really relaxed and didn’t feel any worry about the pets.”

6. Joanna R.

“Joanna was excellent with my dog Emmie and two cats. She sent several pictures to ease my mind while away. I would definitely hire her again!!”

7. Joshua N.

“Joshua did a great job of taking care of our dogs. He provides feedback daily and pictures of the dogs. When my family returned my dogs were happy and healthy. Joshua also leaves dog toys and treats after he leaves. Thank you!”

8. Brittany B.

“Brittany graciously took a very last minute booking for me, was prompt in responding/great communication, and flexible. Sent updates and checked in with me while she was here. I will definitely be asking her back 😊 Thank you!”

9. Allore P.

“It’s our first time using Rover for my anxious pup so we were a little nervous but Allore was super accommodating, kind and understanding. Communication was easy, she’s flexible with her time and willing to adjust to our requests. She’s super patient with my dog (who takes awhile to warm up on people), takes him on walks and updates us regularly! So grateful to meet you, Allore! Hope we can book you as his sitter again!”

10. Palma T.

“We were very happy with Palma and would not hesitate to use her services again. Our two German shepherds were calm and content after we returned a few nights later. She left the house atleast as clean as she found it (maybe cleaner).”

11. Norah P.
“Norah has watched our two Bernese Mountain Dogs several times. Our dogs are thrilled when she arrives and she doesn’t mind leaving covered in fur from playing with them! She is responsible, punctual, and loves our dogs like her own. We always feel comfortable leaving our boys when they are in her care. Highly recommend!”

12. Jenna J.

“Jenna did a great job for my dog Abby. Jenna was professional, followed directions, and kept me updated while I was away. I would recommend Jenna for any of your clients and I will try to schedule her again in the future.”

13. Matthew M.
About: I have over 5 years of experience caring for my three dogs—Mya (14-year-old Shih Tzu), Maizie (6-year-old Australian Shepherd), and Zhu (13-year-old Black Lab). I’ve grown up with Maizie since she was a pup and have been with Mya and Zhu for five years, handling their care when my family is away. My deep bond with these dogs allows me to understand their unique needs and personalities. I specialize in attentive care for puppies and senior dogs and pride myself on making sure each pet feels comfortable, loved, and safe. As I work toward my CPA certification and prepare to start my accounting job in the summer, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate time to pet care. I’m used to balancing multiple responsibilities, and I enjoy taking care of my own pets, so offering pet care services fits naturally into my routine. Whether it’s walking dogs or caring for cats, I make sure to give each pet the attention they need while managing my study and job preparation time efficiently. When caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, safety and comfort are my top priorities. At my home, I ensure a pet-friendly, secure environment, with plenty of space for pets to relax and explore. I make sure all areas are free of hazards, and I provide fresh water and safe spaces for rest. Whether it’s during walks or while watching pets at their home, I closely supervise them, ensuring they are always safe and comfortable. I also prioritize communication with clients to ensure they trust me with their pets' well-being, offering regular updates and being responsive to any specific needs or concerns.

15. Katie B.

“Katie stayed at my house with my clingy senior pets (2 cats and 1 dog). She took great care of everyone (including cat meds) and kept me posted, including package deliveries and mail.”

16. Sarah G.
“We have a large, leash reactive dog, Sarah did a great job with him, she is able to get him to calm down when needed. She plays with him to get his exercise out and always provides an excellent accounting of their time together. Sarah has also made herself available to us when we get needed her last minute. Highly recommend!”

17. Alixeanaly R.
“i trust alix with my cats’ lives!!! she’s so good with them and i see how much they love her. i get tons of photos everytime she’s with them :). she even made them a little pet report card when taking care of them for the first time, which i thought was the sweetest thing ever. her passion for taking care of animals is apparent in her work. alix has done tons of drop ins at my apartment. she always made sure the water was always full and litter box was clean. i traveled for 2.5 weeks and i was in awe at how amazing she was. my cats’s food ran out while i was traveling and i freaked out but she picked up my package and did everything for me. once, the electricity in my building went out and she even went back in AGAIN to make sure their automatic feeder and water fountain were back on. it’s not easy trusting strangers to come into your home, but im so glad i found alix. i genuinely recommend her, she’s amazing.”

18. Triba M.

“Recommend Triba to watch your pets. She made sure my dog was well cared after and taken on a walk. No issues at all. Will use her again”

19. Sophia A.

“After never using Rover for our dog Danny, we were looking for someone who worked from remotely as our little pup has anxiety and separation issues. Hence, we hired the perfect team of Sophia and Lily to stay at our house for a week. They sent daily pictures and notifications as to how Danny was fairing under there watch. They both balanced their work schedules with Danny coverage so he was hardly alone. I think he had probably more company with Sophia and Lily than we often are able to provide. They truly deserve a five star rating. Our house was also left in perfect condition.”

20. Fontaine R.

“Fontaine was incredibly punctual and professional. He was amazing with communication and gave us updates on our cat every day. 10/10 would recommend for all your pet sitting needs!”
