About: I’ve been surrounded by dogs my entire life, and I currently have a dog back in Costa Rica who has a special condition and uses a wheelchair. Caring for him has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. I’ve learned to adapt to his unique needs and rhythm, provide extra support when necessary, and ensure he feels safe, comfortable, and loved at all times. This experience has taught me patience, creativity, and a deep understanding of how every pet has their own personality and pace. About: While my experience is mostly with seniors, I love and have experience with all age ranges. I've also cared for dogs that have had some medical issues and am super attentive to all my fur babies. I currently work full-time, but my hours are extremely flexible. I am in office Thurs-Sun, but my work day can end anywhere between 8am & 3pm. If I have pets in my home, I do provide a bed, feeding bowls, snacks, toys, and a lot of affection. I have a private park across the street as well as a fenced in backyard, depending on what the needs are. I am also located near Bushnell Park in case some extra running around is needed. I am good at giving medicine, if need be.

“10/10 would recommend! It can be a hit or miss finding a reliable sitter. I was sad when my old pet sitter moved away but then I found Carol! First and foremost Carol obviously cares about the well-being and comfort of your pets. She checks off all my boxes of what I look for in a sitter and it also helps that she sends cute updates and pics throughout the day. When I got home my place was as I left it and most importantly my dog and two cats were calm, as if I never left. I would definitely recommend Carol and I look forward to (hopefully) using her in the future!”

About: I’ve taken care of pets for my co-workers and friends for the past several years while they traveled out of town for an extended amount of time. I make sure to check-in every day, feed them, and make sure they get enough attention. I am raising money for marathons I have signed up for over the next year. I’m preparing to run the Marine Corps Marathon and aim to run the Boston Marathon. I usually work evenings from 3-11pm Wednesdays through Sundays and I will have time to take care of your pet in the mornings before I get ready for work. When I am in charge of your pet, I make sure sure they have the food the need to remain healthy, give them a walk when they need it, and provide them with enough attention.

I was given updates about my pups consistently making my week vacation worry free with everything at home. Joanna works from home mainly so she was with my dogs throughout the day, major plus. They walked one of my dogs regularly and followed my wishes to not walk the older one, *due to arthritis he can’t do walks. My elderly dog who really doesn’t like people, especially young kids cuddled with Joanna’s daughter, Amelia! That was a sight to see, if she didn’t send the photo I wouldn’t believe it. Heartwarming to see that my angry at life dog was happily cuddling up with someone other than me, what more could you ask for when away from them? When I came home I could very much tell my dogs were taken care of with love and my house was in better shape than I left it for them. I will definitely be using Joanna and her daughter again for future trips.”

“Gabriel was fantastic.. He made sure to have taken out and kept the house clean. He also got a smaller bag of food for the pups as the bags that were in the pantry ran out. The fish were fed daily, He took both dogs for walks daily too and shoveled out some snow from the deck to make a path for them to get to the yard and cleared out snow from the stairs from the deck too. I primarily work part time away from home mid-week in the evenings, but work from home the rest of the time, so I have plenty of time to dedicate to being home for your baby. I am an avid communicator and will be making sure I follow all necessary instructions left by you (feeding needs, medical needs, etc.).
