About: I have had pets ever since I can remember. Growing up, I had dogs, but I have also had birds, a bunny, hamsters, a snake, and many fish so animals have always been a part of my life. I pet sit frequently for friends, family, and neighbors when they are away. I, myself, have one dog (Mr. Beans - border collie/chocolate lab mix) and one cat (Moose - maine coon mix) at home. I work full time in childcare. I typically work Monday - Friday from 6:30am to 2:30pm. Just send me a message and I’m sure we can work something out! I have a fenced in back yard that my dog enjoys running around and playing in. While pet sitting at your house, I will follow any rules that you have for your pets to make sure they have a stress free environment and stick to their routine.

“We were very happy with Palma and would not hesitate to use her services again. Our two German shepherds were calm and content after we returned a few nights later. She left the house atleast as clean as she found it (maybe cleaner).”

“Joshua did a great job watching our pets in our home over two short weekends away. They seemed happy and healthy when we returned. Joshua communicated with us before, during, and after his time with our pets. He even emptied the litter box when we didn’t ask!”

“Yadira was awesome! Our dogs loved Yadira and we felt so at ease while we were away. Yadira went above and beyond. We would recommend Yadira to anyone looking for a reliable in-home sitter!!”

“Alyanna was available to watch our dog when we made last minute plans and needed to be away overnight. She was wonderful with Maisie. She checked in upon her arrival and sent pictures and kept us updated on how Maisie was doing. We’d highly recommend Alyanna and have already asked her to watch Maisie in a few weeks.”

About: Hi! I’m Megan, a lifelong dog lover based in Manchester and South Windsor, Connecticut. I had the joy of caring for my amazing Pittie—Samantha—for 13 years. She was my shadow, my jogging buddy, and my heart. Through her, I gained hands-on experience with leash training, handling strong breeds, and recognizing subtle behavior cues that helped her feel safe and loved in every situation. I know how important it is to trust someone with your dog—and I treat every pup I meet with the same love, patience, and respect I gave to Samantha. Whether your dog is full of energy and needs a good walk or prefers a quiet sniff around the block, I adapt to their style and needs. In addition to walking and drop-in visits, I also offer house sitting for pet parents who want peace of mind while they’re away. I keep your pets comfortable in their home environment and maintain routines so everything feels familiar and safe. It’s important to me to stay in a clean and tidy space while house sitting, and you can expect me to maintain your home with the same care I’d give my own. I’m happy to keep things neat, water plants, bring in mail, and make sure everything feels just the way you left it. I’m calm, dependable, and genuinely love spending time with animals. I’m happy to send photo updates after every walk, drop-in, or overnight stay so you can stay connected with your furry friend while you’re away. What You Can Expect: ✅ One-on-one attention & personalized care ✅ Experience with large breeds & strong pullers ✅ Patience with shy or reactive pups ✅ Clean-up, water refresh, and playtime included ✅ Photo & text updates after every visit ✅ Respectful care of your home during house sitting ✅ Sticking to your pet’s routine for meals, meds, and rest ✅ Light household tasks like mail pickup, plant watering, and tidying up ✅ Overnight presence to keep your pets company and your home secure Let’s set up a meet & greet—I’d love to learn more about your pup and how I can help! Walking and Drop-Ins Schedule: • Weekdays: • Early mornings: 5:00 AM – 7:00 AM • Lunchtime (South Windsor only): 1-hour window available (perfect for midday potty breaks!) • Evenings: 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM • Weekends (Sat & Sun): • Available all day: 5:00 AM – 8:00 PM House Sitting Schedule: I work 7:30 - 4:00 PM during the work, if you're within a 5-10 mile radius of South Windsor I can do an afternoon drop in. Weekends I'll be able to stick to whatever your normal routine is! I love walking and jogging. I can tailor my service to your pups preference. A relaxing stroll, or a light jog depending on energy level. I’m available for in-home visits and overnight stays while you’re away for a stress free vacation. My 14 year old pittie passed away peacefully of old age recently, and I have a lot of love to share with your fur babies!

“Jarrett was great! He stayed for 3 days at my house watching my dog and 2 cats. He sent me multiple pictures and updates throughout the day, and promptly answered any messages I sent him. He left the house in the same condition I left it in and did not make or leave any messes, in fact he cleaned a few while I was gone. 10/10, will definitely be booking him again. :)”

About: I have knowledge and experience handling various animals from small to large dogs and even working line dogs. I have been a veterinary technician for 5 years and focused in areas such as general practice and emergency. In my current career I specialize in rabbits and rodents as they hold a dear place in my heart. I have experience with fearful dogs/cats and hyperactive pets. I have knowledge in care requirements for the following species due to working in the veterinary field: rabbits, hamsters, rats/mice, chinchillas, guinea pigs, dogs, cats, and gerbils. I also am experienced and able to care for special needs pets whether if they need medications, a special diet, or have special bathroom requirements. I currently work full-time, but love working with animals during my free time. I’m available on the weekends with little restrictions and during the evenings of the week (Monday-Friday) after 3pm. I update my availability on the calendar every month, one month at a time. I encourage meet and greets prior to confirming a booking to ensure you, your pet(s), and I are a great match. It’s also a great way to do introductions and get to know your and your pet prior to a booking. Meet and greets are free of charge. In my home, I do have small animals (rabbits), but they have their own private space. Your pet will be able to lounge in the main living areas with no disruption from other animals. I do require dogs to be crate trained in cases or urgencies. My yard is not completely fenced, however this doesn’t deter your pet from being able to enjoy the outdoors as they are constantly supervised and on leash. I also live nearby many parks and aim to provide ample exercise for them in those areas. In the client’s home, I can follow specific directions you may have regarding your pet and any questions on my end will always be relayed to you to avoid confusion.

About: Over 10 years of pet experience! I provide safe, loving care and fun for your furry family - walks, cuddles, feeding, and personalized attention included. I’m currently a student at the University of Connecticut studying speech-language pathology. My schedule is very flexible and I’m open to any day of the week. Trusted in home care focused on safety, and routine. Comfortable crating pets as needed to maintain structure and reduce stress. I’ll follow your routine to ensure a calm/familiar environment.

About: I’ve taken care of pets for my co-workers and friends for the past several years while they traveled out of town for an extended amount of time. I make sure to check-in every day, feed them, and make sure they get enough attention. I am raising money for marathons I have signed up for over the next year. I’m preparing to run the Marine Corps Marathon and aim to run the Boston Marathon. I usually work evenings from 3-11pm Wednesdays through Sundays and I will have time to take care of your pet in the mornings before I get ready for work. When I am in charge of your pet, I make sure sure they have the food the need to remain healthy, give them a walk when they need it, and provide them with enough attention.

“Kara was amazing with my three rascals! Lots of pictures and even made a pesky, judgmental chihuahua fall in love with her! I will definitely be using Kara again!”

About: We’ve owned many dogs growing and are super excited for the opportunity to be around animals while living in a new state. We've house sat for neighbors, friends and family for a number of years so please take a look at our testimonials. We both have very flexible schedules this summer! Matthew is a grad student and Mary Beth works from home in finance, so we're both available throughout the day for walks, drop-ins, or overnight care. We love walking and biking around the West End of Hartford, but we do have cars for extra flexibility. Your pet's safety and comfort are our top priorities. When house sitting, we follow your routine closely to keep things familiar and stress-free for your pet. We’re respectful of your home and aim to leave it just as we found it—if not better. For dog walking, we use secure leashes and harnesses, avoid unsafe areas, and always keep a close eye on your dog’s comfort and energy level. During doggy daycare, your pet will have a calm, supervised environment with lots of attention, play, and breaks as needed. We're happy to accommodate special needs, medications, or quirks—just let us know!

“Took great care of our pup!”

“Jill is amazing! We are so lucky to have found her. We just moved to the area and didn’t have coverage for our week-long vacation. She was professional, super communicative, and kindly pretended not to notice how neurotic I am about my aging shih tzu. She is the reason we were able to enjoy our vacation, and I am grateful beyond words. We will definitely be calling Jill again. And again.”

North Meadows pet parents share their Rover experiences
This is my second time having Sarah stay with my dogs- she is communicative, sends cute update pictures and is super kind and flexible. She took great care of our babies and would definitely book again!

Haven was absolutely lovely - excellent communication, kind, and a general pleasure to work with. We will absolutely be requesting her services again!

Aly was so accommodating accepting my booking with short notice. She took amazing care sitting for my kitties and she is super sweet. Will absolutely be having her back!

Saylor was kind enough to take a very last minute booking for me on a weekday afternoon. She responded promptly, communicated well, asked good questions. She was early to the appointment, very friendly and kind in person. (And she’s got cute doggies!) I will absolutely be asking her back.

She was so fun. My dogs loved it, they were so worn out and hardly got up to see me when I came home after being gone for a few days. She’s absolutely amazing.
