“Detail oriented, thorough, kind, excellent planning and foresight, just awesome! This was my first Rover experience at the time of my booking I had an elderly dog and three cats, we had not gone on vacation in years due to our dog having arthritis and other health issues, but we had gotten her to a point where she was doing really well and we felt we could leave her with someone. I needed someone who could administer meds, live at the house and be otherwise highly attentive to her needs and our cats. I had about given up on some of the people I’d spoken with on Rover, I just didn’t feel comfortable with anyone. Enter Jillian. In our initial texts I got a very positive vibe and immediately liked her. We hadn’t even met yet but I could tell she was a gem. When she came to the house to meet our pets she was aces and again I instinctively knew she was going to be great. Since our meeting our dog very suddenly passed away and when I let Jillian know her response was compassionate and she gave me some time to figure out what we would do. When we spoke again we decided on two visits a day for the cats and she sprang into action to adjust our booking. Jillian was every bit as great as I knew she would be and even surpassed my expectations. This woman is thorough, she thinks ahead, she looks to solve issues even before they happen. We had a snow storm while we were gone and she made sure she got to the house. We received daily photos of all of the cats, who by the way hide from strangers all the time, but not Jillian! I think she’s a cat whisperer of some sort. She was on time for her visits, left the place clean, took her shoes off to walk around the house, so thoughtful!! On prior vacations when I’ve left my pets I always notice they’re a little ‘off’ when I return, not with Jillian. They were very much themselves which speaks volumes. I highly highly highly recommend her. We are already booking another trip because this was the first time in years that I really relaxed and didn’t feel any worry about the pets.”

About: I used to help care for a friend/family member’s fur kids, and honestly, I miss it more than I expected. When I moved out, they haven’t needed me as much, but a little sad for me! I miss the walks, the feeding routines, and all those quiet little bonding moments. I may be new to Rover, but I see it as the perfect excuse to get back to something I really enjoy. Think of me as your pet’s cool aunt with patience, care, and a lot of affection. My top priority is making every pet feel safe and comfortable, like they’re with someone they already trust. And yes, I fully believe in extra belly rubs and a little goofy energy when needed. I’m pretty flexible right now, so I’d really appreciate some advance notice to help me plan my schedule. I’d also love to do a quick meet-and-greet beforehand to make sure everyone feels safe and comfortable. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, secure, and at ease. Whether it’s playtime, feeding, walks or park runs, bringing some goofy energy, or just relaxing together. Of course, plenty of belly rubs whenever they’re wanted. I adapt to whatever they need. I’m also happy to follow any instructions you have to keep things consistent for your fur kid.

About: Being raised with dogs, cats, and other various kinds of animals since I was 6 years old, I’m not a stranger to small (or even big!) feet following me around the house. From love and snuggles after a long day, to laughing at zoomie episodes, my family has built our lives around our animals. And I would love to add your pet into my happy story. Rest assured, you can leave your fur-baby with me for peace of mind, and can expect them to be loved, cared for, snuggled, and protected as you would do. I have experience with energetic, senior, and pups with allergies and/or meds. I primarily work part time away from home mid-week in the evenings, but work from home the rest of the time, so I have plenty of time to dedicate to being home for your baby. I am an avid communicator and will be making sure I follow all necessary instructions left by you (feeding needs, medical needs, etc.). If I’m not sure on something, I’ll always communicate to make sure to provide the best service to your and your baby.
