“Laura has been caring for our pets for several years and we HIGHLY recommend her if you’re looking for someone who will care for your pets as well as you do. She’s amazing with our two large dogs who are always thrilled to see her, and even our shy cat comes out when she’s around! She goes above and beyond to make sure every animal’s needs are met and that each has received their fair share of head scratches and belly rubs. Laura is a true animal lover and we are so lucky to know that our pets are always in good hands with her!”

13. Caitlin D.
About: I have lots of love and a unique appreciation for rescue dogs of all types and sizes, having worked with local rescues for 5 years. I have also walked, trained and fostered dogs of all sizes, from 12 to 200 pounds, including dogs of senior age, and dogs with accessibility needs and/or vision impairment. I have experience fostering dogs who are anxious or nervous around new people places and things, with special attention to body language, each pet’s comforts & routines, and positive reinforcement tools. I have stayed over numerous neighbors and friends homes to adjust to their pets’ schedules, maintain their home space, and keep their K9 loved ones comfortable in their absence. I am a full time worker in downtown Hartford, with capability to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays, which allows me flexibility on those days to walk and care for the pets of friends and family. I love getting outside, for at least an hour daily, and love animals, so this satisfies two of my favorite past times. I also like to go for a run and sing / play the keyboard in my free time! I come to you for daytime walks, outs, and in-house day or overnight care! Unfortunately I do not have the capability to bring your furry friends into my home. However, I would love to care for your pet through stop in walks and outs during the day, full day care on Mondays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays while you are working or away, and am flexible to stay over and include holidays and long weekend care, per your level of comfort!

14. Triba M.
“Triba has been taking excellent care of my dog King and I enthusiastically recommend her pet sitting services. I am always comfortable that my dog and even apartment are in good hands with Triba. I can tell she genuinely enjoys taking care of animals and feels deeply responsible for their well-being. My dog feels comfortable with her and responds well to her. Triba is reliable and also flexible. She also is responsive when I check in via phone or text. Every household and every pet is unique I believe Triba is able to adapt her caregiving to accommodate those differences and can adjust comfortably to any situation. -Caroline M.”

15. Alixeanaly R.

She’s responsible, attentive, and always goes the extra mile to make sure pets are happy and well cared for. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or cuddles, Alix provides a safe and loving environment for all furry friends. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate caregiver!””

16. Niki Z.
About: Hi, it’s Niki! ✨ I am new to Rover, but I can’t wait to get started! I am extremely motivated and excited about starting my journey here. Now, some fun facts about me: I have six years of experience caring for pets. I’ve had a dog for about 5 years. She was a miniature schnauzer and loved to escape on walks.. those were some fun times… I’ve helped my sister take care of a friend’s cat during the pandemic. A black cat called George who like to play. He was very affectionate and everyone called him Georgie :). I’m pretty outgoing, I will get along with anyone, You can trust me with your dog/cat- the most important thing you can ask from a pet sitter. I send pictures and updates so you can rest easy. I am prompt, caring, and communicative. I treat your pets like they are my own. Let me know what you need and we can discuss. You can book me in the mornings and late afternoons. I can also work on the weekends and holidays. I also do overnight if you need a sitter. I live in an apartment that doesn't allow pets, so any work you want me to do regarding your pet would have to be at your home or neighborhood.

17. Sandy L.
About: I am super patient and would love to help you out! I also have experience with basic obedient puppy training :)! Have had cats all of my life and my puppy the past year. I am pretty flexible, my current job schedule is always consistent. I don’t work too many hours so I always have more than enough time for my own furr babies. I am always cleaning and made sure to have my pets fed morning and night. Litter box is always cleaned and refilled. I also make sure there’s nothing out that could be harmful for the babies.
