About: I’ve grown up with dogs all my life; my first was a black lab, and I’ve been hooked ever since. I’ve helped train, walk, and care for our family’s three dogs, who are truly my world. Whether it’s playing, going to the dog park, or just giving them love, I’m all in when it comes to pups 🐶❤️ I just completed my last internship at law school and now have a very flexible schedule that will allow me to petsit full time for the summer and fall of this year. I’m available during the week and on weekends! In my home, I make sure pets feel comfortable, safe, and loved by creating a calm, pet-friendly environment with plenty of playtime, cuddles, and routine. In a client’s home, I stick closely to their pet’s normal schedule and care instructions, keeping things consistent to help them feel at ease. Whether it’s feeding, walking, cleaning up, or just giving them attention, I treat every pet like my own.

“One of the best! Updated me the whole time my doggie was on a walk and came with last minute notice. Will definitely be booking more walks!! Muffin was satisfied 😇”

About: I’ve taken care of pets for my co-workers and friends for the past several years while they traveled out of town for an extended amount of time. I make sure to check-in every day, feed them, and make sure they get enough attention. I am raising money for marathons I have signed up for over the next year. I’m preparing to run the Marine Corps Marathon and aim to run the Boston Marathon. I usually work evenings from 3-11pm Wednesdays through Sundays and I will have time to take care of your pet in the mornings before I get ready for work. When I am in charge of your pet, I make sure sure they have the food the need to remain healthy, give them a walk when they need it, and provide them with enough attention.

About: I grew up on a farm with all animals, big and small — experienced with young, old, & “difficult” pets. Also comfortable administering medicine and handling emergencies with care. I love animals and care about respecting their boundaries and listening to their body language to develop trust. I have a work from home schedule, so I can spend as much time with your pet as you want! I enjoy the opportunity to get out of my home office :) I’m well-versed in understanding and responding to animal body language and indicators of stress or medical emergency. I keep a careful eye on every pet I’m in charge of, and I firmly believe in following the instructions given to me because you know your animal best.

“She is really nice, I really like her. Highly recommended!”

“Colby was awesome: respectful, understanding and timely. I’d highly recommend!!”

“Thank so much Katie! This was our first time using Rover, and we love that Ramona was quickly so comfortable with Katie, we went out all day and we’re able to enjoy knowing Ramona was in great hands”

About: Since the age of three I’ve always been around pets! Ranging from alligator lizards, to German shepherds to pigeons in a shed! I became a member of PETA at the age of 10, it’s true lol! P.S. I only signed up for the cute calendars! ❤️🐶 I am a college student, however, my early afternoons and evenings are typically open! During that time, I’d love to care for your fur child!! My backyard is fenced in for safety. For overnight services especially, I will reach out to the owner beforehand to gain insight on how to best make your furry loved one feel as safe and comfortable as possible!

About: I’ve taken care of many dogs in the past including ones who required medical injections. I also trained my hyper german shepard since she was a puppy so I have knowledge on training tactics and puppies as well! I am a full time student but I am home for the summer and would love to visit your pet and give them the care they need! I would love to walk your pet or care for them in the West Hartford neighborhood. I love to go on walks, play in backyards, or just give some love through pets and cuddles!

About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of pets, not just dogs. Growing up I had as many as four dogs at one point! I also had a cat who grew up with me and lived to be 22! I started pet sitting/walking for people when I was in middle school and have been doing so since! Anyone who know me will tell you that I truly love dogs more than anything and I love spending time with them! I have my own dog but he’s living with my parents so i’m always looking for puppy friends to fill that hole when he’s not here :) I have trained my own dogs in the past and have also taken care of dogs of pretty much any age. Im prepared and excited for any dog related opportunity coming my way! :) I currently live alone in a dog friendly studio apartment. I’m in between jobs and doing some freelance so my a schedule is pretty flexible!! My apartment building is very dog friendly and is surrounded by good walking paths. At a clients home I would perform any tasks requested and keep the house exactly as it was. I have been house sitting since a teenager so I’m very experienced in this too.

About: Growing up I’ve had either a dog , cat , fish or bird. Once I had all four at once ! My love for my fur family grew with my age & now I’m extending the love from my fur family to yours ! <3 I currently work a part time meaning I have plenty of time to spend time with your fur family ! That could be cuddles , walks , meals & just chill time I’m there ! My services happen in your home to ensure you the most secure & trusting environment for not only you but also your fur family! <3

“Kanwar was great! Scout picked up the good vibes immediately and got along very well. Kanwar was responsive and very considerate. For example, he went out of his way to check Scout’s water bowl was full after his walk on a hot day.”

“Great service! She was right on time. Responsive and flexible.”

“Matthew was awesome ! Luna came back happy and he sent us pictures of her time with him.”

About: I have volunteered with dogs for about 5-6 years, including with large dogs and reactive dogs. I also pet sit my friends' dogs. For me, spending time with animals is therapy. I would love to give your dog all the attention they deserve during my visits. Whether it's long walks, snuggle time or a check-in, I will make sure your pet gets the best love and care! I work full-time but my job is flexible. I'm available for drop-ins, overnight stays and walks. The end of the week and weekends are the most open for me. I cannot pet sit at my apartment, but I am comfortable staying in others' homes. This is how I pet sit for my friends. This also helps with pets' comfort, I think.

About: What sets me apart is my personalized approach to each pet’s unique needs. I have experience learning from my Aunt, who is a guide dog trainer, as well as, everything from playful puppies to gentle senior pets, and I’m skilled at recognizing and responding to different behavior and health needs, from becoming a foster parent at the Newington location, Connecticut Humane Society. Whether it’s administering medication, sticking to a training schedule, or just providing extra love and patience, I tailor my care to make every pet feel safe, happy, and at home. Pet care fits perfectly into my schedule! I’m available Tuesdays after 3:30 PM, Wednesdays after 5:00 PM, and Fridays all day. As a biomedical engineering student at the University of Hartford, I’m organized, reliable, and used to balancing a busy schedule — which means your pet will always get my full attention and care when I’m with them. When caring for pets in their own home, I focus on keeping their routine as normal and comfortable as possible. I follow any specific instructions you provide for feeding, walks, playtime, and medication. I make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and stress-free while you’re away!

14. Erin O.
“Hello! Erin fits the bill of being one of the kindest pet caregivers I've had the pleasure of knowing. Visiting her house, Erin brings a sense of security and comfort with her dog that I wish I could see in other pet owners. With her experience in dog sitting, even out of the country, she brings that same TLC to any other pet she may have responsibility for. Her ability to listen to pets' needs and also follow a routine is one of her strongest traits. Erin will make a wonderful addition to Rover, and I'm very excited for pet owners to meet her.”

15. Alixeanaly R.
“i trust alix with my cats’ lives!!! she’s so good with them and i see how much they love her. i get tons of photos everytime she’s with them :). she even made them a little pet report card when taking care of them for the first time, which i thought was the sweetest thing ever. her passion for taking care of animals is apparent in her work. alix has done tons of drop ins at my apartment. she always made sure the water was always full and litter box was clean. i traveled for 2.5 weeks and i was in awe at how amazing she was. my cats’s food ran out while i was traveling and i freaked out but she picked up my package and did everything for me. once, the electricity in my building went out and she even went back in AGAIN to make sure their automatic feeder and water fountain were back on. it’s not easy trusting strangers to come into your home, but im so glad i found alix. i genuinely recommend her, she’s amazing.”
