“Oh, my pups were just so happy to see Jessi, and my younger dog who always barks with new people, did not bark at all! Jessi was very kind and had a calm demeanor with my senior pup and my anxious pup:) I will definitely request their help again!”

“AMAZING. Definitely the best experience I’ve had here on Rover! Taylor was so communicative and took such great care of my cat Tubbs. She sent tons of pictures and it was obvious that she spent lots of quality time with him. :) I wish I could use Taylor every time Tubbs needs a sitter!”

“Crystal is a wonderful cat sitter—reliable, communicative, and genuinely caring. She followed instructions carefully, sent regular updates, and our cat was calm and happy when we returned. Highly recommend.”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Allison was absolutely amazing with my cat while I was away! From the start, she was communicative, friendly, and clearly cares deeply about animals. She followed all feeding instructions perfectly, kept his water fresh, and even spent time playing with him (which he loved — she quickly figured out his favorite toys!). She sent me daily updates and photos, which gave me so much peace of mind while traveling. It’s clear she treats pets like her own, and I could tell she went above and beyond to make sure he was comfortable and entertained. I’ll absolutely be booking with Allison again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, reliable, and genuinely caring sitter.”

“Wow! Anna was such a pleasure to watch our cats while we were out of town for 5 days. She was very thorough and gave them great attention. She included awesome photos of my 3 cats with every visit, we looked forward to every update! Looking forward to booking with her again!”

About: I've had pets my whole life, mostly cats, but also bunnies, goats, and a dog. I have also volunteered at animal shelters, and worked in both veterinary clinics and grooming salons. I'm a licensed veterinary technician, which means I am very comfortable giving medications as needed, and may even be able to trim nails or bathe dogs with an additional helper. I have taken care of cats, dog, horses, goats, a tortoise, and a few small pocket pets. I am comfortable with most species, but have limited experience with pocket pets, reptiles and birds. I'm currently in the process of looking for a full-time job, so I have more time than usual to take care of your pet(s)! When I get the full-time job, I will be more limited to dog-walking and drop-in appointments, with more availability on the weekends and holidays. I currently live in an apartment building, so I plan to mostly do dog-walking or drop-in apartments. I have a cat currently at my apartment, who prefers dogs over cats, but may get along with a cat with a careful introduction (she tends to be too playful at times).
“Lauren was fantastic! I always received updates and pictures from her and my dogs were well taken care of! Will use again ! I could tell she loved my dogs and wanted to hang out with them !”

About: I am a recent UTK animal science graduate. I worked at a dog boarding and day care facility for a summer in 2023. I have dog sat all throughout my high school years and some in college. I worked with horses in the summer of 2024. I love animals and want to pursue a career in animal health! I am very passionate about animals! I am a very flexible person. I recently graduated from The University of Tennessee and am in the process of looking for jobs. Most of my days are pretty open. I am a very trustworthy and reliable person who will always have the animals best interest at heart! I love working with animals and I can’t wait to meet them! I have dog sat many times and am very good with watching over them.
“Claire was an amazing sitter! She kept me updated the entire time and was quick to problem solve when my high maintenance cat threw some curve balls. She cared for her just like we would and I got to enjoy my weekend because I knew she was in good hands. We will definitely use her again in the future!”
“Tate was super helpful looking after my pups! Great communication and plenty of pics showing me how excited they were for the company. Highly recommend and will book again! Thanks Tate!!!”

“Melissa was great! She was very professional and attentive to our sweet Sugar! She was very detailed in her check-in notes and sent some awesome pics as well. We will definitely use her services again!”

“Brooke has taken good care of our Bella & we will use her again! Ty Brooke so much; this is the longest we’ve been gone & you made us feel ok leaving our cat.”

“Helena watched our two kittens super last minute. She was absolutely amazing, she played with our kittens and sent us updates throughout the day with pictures and videos. Definitely will use her again whenever we go out of town!”

About: What sets me apart is that I genuinely treat every pet as if they were my own. I understand that leaving your pet with someone else requires a lot of trust, so I focus on providing not only safe and reliable care but also plenty of attention, affection, and enrichment. I take the time to learn each pet’s personality, routine, and individual needs so they can feel comfortable and happy while you’re away. I also believe in keeping owners updated with regular messages and photos, giving you peace of mind knowing your pet is in good hands. As a lifelong animal lover, I have experience caring for a variety of pets and understand the importance of maintaining consistent routines, monitoring behavior, and paying attention to the small details that keep pets healthy and comfortable. Pet care fits well into my weekly routine alongside my part-time job. I carefully manage my schedule to ensure I have plenty of time to provide dependable care, attention, and companionship for the pets I look after. I am organized, responsible, and committed to following each pet’s routine, whether that means feeding, walks, playtime, or check-ins. Caring for animals is something I genuinely enjoy, and I make sure every pet receives the time and attention they deserve. Currently, I am available on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays anytime, but my schedule should open up even more soon as I am planning to leave my job. When caring for pets in a client's home, I focus on maintaining their normal routine as closely as possible. I follow all feeding, exercise, medication, and care instructions carefully to help pets feel comfortable and secure while their owners are away. I make sure they receive plenty of attention, playtime, and affection, while also keeping their environment clean and safe. I understand that every pet is unique, so I take the time to learn their individual needs and personality. I also provide regular updates and photos so owners can have peace of mind knowing their pets are happy and well cared for.
About: Do you have an adult or senior dog, and you just need an extra hand sometimes? I recently lost my two loves to age and chronic disease. Some days were really hard. Keeping up with meds. Trying to get them to eat. Making sure they got frequent enough potty breaks, or the inevitable accidents because getting older makes control just a little more difficult. I'd like to help. When our babies get old, sometimes those are the sweetest years that we'll get to spend with them, but it's also a lot of work. I can help by checking in on your dog. I can help feed them, or make sure they get their meds, or give them an extra potty break. Do you need an extra set of hands to help give them a bath or a nail trim? Are there other tasks you just don't have time or ability to do? I can help. I have a lifetime of experience caring for pets. From my own cats, dogs and even a pony, to nearly 10 years in the boarding and daycare business, I have experience with caring for hundreds of pets. Each one of them with unique personalities and needs. I have experience with all ages of pets, including seniors and those who need special care. I understand when your pet may need extra time, patience, and attention. I am also trained in pet first-aid and CPR. Because we are now a dogless family :( , I can now open my home to some pups, as long as they're okay around cats (including a spicy kitten.) Weekend daycare (with fun outings if you like!) and boarding is now available in addition to my drop in visits. HOUSE RULES: Because we do have two kitties and full-time jobs, all boarding dogs must be crate trained should we need to separate them, or during work. This is for everyone's safety. Dogs will never be crated more than 4 hours at a time. We only accept dogs who are cat friendly. I do work in an office Monday through Friday, however in my evenings and weekends I am committed to the love and care of your pet. I am able to stop back home mid-day, so your pet will never go more than 4 hours without a potty break. My services are ideal if you work an evening shift, or have long workdays, or are planning to be away from home for extended hours on the weekend. For boarding and day care, my home is their home. We allow dogs on the furniture (unless you don't and then we'll day consistent with your rules.) New dogs must be crate-trained and will be crated when left unattended. We have a xl crate, so plenty of room for comfort. For drop-in visits, I know your home is your sanctuary and will treat it as such. Please outline any rules or limitations you may have for visiting your pet.
“Michaela was amazing. She went above and beyond. Champ loved her and she is great with animals. I would highly recommend and also book her again in the future.”

Parkridge pet parents share their Rover experiences
Helena is great with my Baxter!!! She was wonderful with him from the start and he took right to her. I love the updates from her drop in visits. I have upcoming sitting dates scheduled while I’m out of town. I was so nervous to leave him with someone new but now I feel like he’s going to be very well take care of!

Kathleen has been the best looking after my puppy. She's always on time and goes the extra effort to send me updates with pics after each visit, which is greatly appreciated since it's helped document my puppy's growth. (She is a great photographer!) It's tough being away from my pup and to have someone I can trust to look after him...but Kathleen has been the best. Kathleen has made it so I don't have to worry. Worth it! Thank you, Kathleen. We are going to miss you!

Anna is awesome! She was willing to come and meet our four dogs and three cats before caring for them when we were away. My animals instantly fell in love with her! Anna also sent updates and photos of our fur babies. We came back to happy and calm animals. We will be using her again in the future 🩷
