“Jessi is my first Rover experience and I’m beyond delighted with how well it went. Jessi arrived on time and bonded immediately with my dog, Jake. Meanwhile, Jessi’s experience, kindness, and calm manner put me immediately at ease. Jessi listened closely to my instructions, gave me their perspective, and we confirmed we were on the same page with plans for the walk and exercise session, including the route they would take. Jake is a large and energetic Standard Poodle, although with excellent leash manners, and Jessi had no problems or concerns handling him. Jake was delightedly leaping around Jessi on their return, and Jessi shared great photos and a helpful report of their walk. I do hope to use Jessi again and frequently ahead. Also, Jessi is a super talented pet photographer!”

Her childhood screen name was always “creaturegirl” and she was always bringing home stray animals and nursing them back to health. She is also an amazing plant parent and has always been great at diagnosing and caring for the needs of living things. She is responsible and can follow any care instructions provided. About: I do not have any professional experience other than taking a pet grooming class and pet-sitting for friends throughout college; however, I do have a lot of personal experience treating pets for ailments after taking care of my childhood pet until his final days as well as another cat who passed from an autoimmune disease. I have a lot of empathy and love for animals and having to take care of my own pets for years has allowed me to comfortably handle pet behavior and take caution with their ailments. I have had to give my pets many a bath and administer many a medication (ex: giving my aging diabetic cat insulin twice a day every day for years). I’m very clean and respectful of other’s spaces. I love playing with pets and I also respect owners wishes for their pets treatment and training. I am currently working as a catering cook for a catering business and I am about to go back to university in the fall. My catering job can be inconsistent when it comes to scheduling - some weeks are jam-packed while others are very light hours wise. I’m looking to make some extra money on the side when I’m available for a week. I’m a homebody and I don’t really travel much so I’m sure I’ll be available weekends to house sit or watch/walk a pet ! My availability will differ week to week but once I make a commitment to something I stick with it ! I am an extremely clean person. I get jokes all the time about my « OCD » levels of cleanliness but hey I mean I’m not looking to change it. Working in the BOH in kitchens has made me no stranger to cleaning up messes or simply keeping a space clean. When I am a guest in someone’s home I treat the space as if it were my own and I keep it clean and tidy. I can assure you I would leave it better than I found it. I have been the it girl as well when it comes to watering friend’s plants when they are out of town!
