About: I can't really remember a time when I didn't have a pet! I have always been crazy about animals and have mostly owned dogs but have had cats too! I have taken care of mostly small and medium dogs but love all animals. I'm a retired nurse with a bit more time on my hands and would like to spend a bit of my new, free time with animals! We currently have a rescue dog, Rusty, that we have had for about 4 years now. He is a sweetie and loved so much! I look forward to meeting your pets and giving you peace of mind while you are away! I'm currently retired and available very often. I will have plenty of time to play with your pets and to relax with them! I can offer a private area for them to eat or decompress if needed. I have a fenced in back yard here and doggie doors to the outside. I have one 6 year neutered (big baby) small but chunky dog here as a playmate.

About: I've taken care of dogs since I was 11. I have been trusted to feed, play, clean up after, and take on walks! I love all dogs! I am available anytime that you and your beautiful pups need me! I am up very early in the morning and am willing to tend to them until dark or whenever needed. I have a very big fenced-in yard with two very friendly dogs who would keep your furbaby company. I can crate your dog if that is needed. I have numerous dog toys, beds, and blankets to keep your dog as comfortable as she/he needs!

Whether it's maintaining their routine, providing companionship, or offering special care, I always prioritize their well-being. I have experience in managing various pets, from dogs and cats to smaller animals, and am skilled at recognizing signs of distress or health issues as well as experience in admitting various kinds of medications. My communication style is transparent, and I like to keep owners updated with regular check-ins so that they can feel confident that their pets are in good hands. With my current schedule I am available on Sundays, Mondays, and Wednesdays. My part time shifts begin at 7am, but I am a morning person that would love to start my day by saying hello to your pets early in the day before going in to work. Otherwise, I am free on Sundays and Mondays after 3pm and on Wednesdays after 12pm! I enjoy keeping animals happy and comfortable in an environment that is familiar for them. I’ll stick to your pets’ routine which might include feeding them at specific times, giving them regular exercise, or providing plenty of play and attention. I’m detail-oriented and will follow any special instructions given, from administering medications to ensuring your home is kept tidy and safe. Time away from home can be stressful, and I like to offer peace of mind by making your pets’ well being one less thing to worry about.

“Dana was so amazing with our senior dog while we were away! We got multiple pics at every check in which, even when I was busy was a joy to see.☺️ I had asked Dana to come meet Harley prior to the start date, which was super short notice, but she came by met our big fur baby and it really put me at ease. Harley took so quickly to her and my girl isn’t always nice to strangers as she’s super protective of her family. When I saw how quickly our girl took to Dana I felt better from the start. Any other time I would worry that whomever I had set up was going to follow through, but I was so confident and worry free that Dana was going to take such great care of our baby like one of her own! 100% will hire again next time we have to go out of town, just outside this site!!”
