About: I’ve had dogs all my life growing us and taken care of many dogs and cats in adulthood. I’m very flexible, always willing to help you when I can and am happy to negotiate prices. I have two dogs myself that are my world, so your babies are in good hands with me! I work fully remote Monday through Friday so I’m very flexible with my schedule! I can work from anywhere and my schedule allows me to take breaks during the day for walking and care need. I will care for your dogs and your home in whatever capacity makes you feel comfortable! If I’m staying over, i like to tidy things up before I leave. For clients I typically vacuum, clean the counters, strip the sheets and put out fresh flowers if you’re coming home from out of town! I’ll happily abide by your rules for your house and your home.

“Patrick was an amazing sitter for my high energy, strong, high needs dog. He managed his medication, special diet and his training upkeep needs on walks and was patient and playful with him as needed.”

“Doug was absolutely fantastic. He is an excellent communicator and kept us abreast of how our girls were doing. 10/10 would absolutely have him stay with our girls in our home again.”

“10/10 for another stay with Stephanie! I got so many updates and pictures of my sweet babies while away! She went above and beyond! Always made sure they had fresh food and water and ample love!! Even did laundry before she left! Cannot recommend Stephanie enough! If you are looking for someone to not only care for your animals but also your home - book with Stephanie!”

About: As a lifelong dog lover and owner for 10 years, I’m now embarking on a new chapter after 24 wonderful years in Chicago. Following a long career in advertising sales, I’m seeking a slower-paced, more fulfilling path — one that lets me combine my reliability with my love for animals. At 49, I bring maturity, responsibility, and genuine care to every pup I watch, ensuring your they are looked after as if they were my own. Also, the doodle you see in some pics is my amazingly chill, gets along with every living thing, sidekick Lambeau. So please note your dog(s) must be okay with other dogs. I'm currently taking some time off and won't be going back to remote work until the fall '26, at the earliest. So I'm very flexible with my time at the moment. I live in an apartment complex (2 bed / 2 bath) with a huge unfenced grassy area off my lanai, that Lambeau and I call our own backyard. I also live across the street from John Chesnut park, in the Tarpon Woods area so Lambeau and I spend lots of time at that huge dog park and/or exploring the various trails. So if you're open to that as well, I'll gladly take your pup(s) over there for some adventures.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Ozona
Christine was absolutely amazing!! She was so responsible and professional, sent us pictures and updates regularly, and most importantly she was incredibly kind and loving with our dogs. It’s really hard to leave them as they are our babies. But they clearly loved Christine and she loved them and treated them like they were her own. I wouldn’t hesitate to call on Christina again and I highly recommend her.
Jazmine to the Rescue! We experienced every pet parent’s nightmare when our original sitter canceled less than a week before our trip. We found Jazmine and she quickly arranged a meet and greet for the same day. Our pets immediately warmed up to her, which gave us peace of mind. While we were away, Jazmine sent daily updates and photos. When we returned, everything was clean and in good order, and she had even left the home tidier than we left it. We would book with Jazmine again. She was punctual, communicated well, and took good care of our pets.

Angie was wonderful! She was on-time every time, very polite and always smiling! She house sat for us last minute when another sitter fell through and Dottie too to her right away. Angie was always sending updates and photos from morning to night and we will def. want to work with her again!!

Jasmine watched our dog Mickey while we went away for three nights and we were very very happy with the care that she gave him and the updates and photos that she sent to us. She even got him to eat on day one which we did not expect! We’ve been looking for someone for a very long time who we are comfortable with, and we have finally found someone!

Hi Megan!! I had a fantastic experience with you! 😍 This was my first time with a Dogsitter and I could not have found a better one. I went on a trip with my husband and let my two Weimaraners with her for several days and I felt so at ease. She was great with updates and got the best photos we have of the dogs so far!! I will absolutely book her again on next trips as now we have found our Girl! Thank you, Megan and we will see you soon! 💕💕

Patrick was caring, thoughtful and our dog appeared happy! He sent photos each day and notes of new behaviors (flipping for a belly rub, etc.). Our dog was immediately comfortable with Patrick. Since we picked her up, if we mention Patrick’s name, she starts wagging her tail.

I couldn’t be happier or more impressed with Sophia. She is awesome! she took wonderful care of our baby and treated her life her own I saw this with the many updates (not just pictures but videos)of their time together I could see how loved Lulu was by their interaction this was our first time leaving our little girl alone for so long and using the service so of course we were a little nervous. When we arrived home our place was left in the same condition we left it I was really great being able to keep Lulu in her comfortable space. Sophia is kind, compassionate, respectful and a wonderful caregiver. We completely trust her and she relieved our stress and anxiety and about leaving so we were able to enjoy our trip to the fullest knowing she was well taken care Lulu has a new Auntie lol! We will be requesting Sophia every time from now on, I would highly recommend her to anyone who wants to feel secure and worry free about their pet care💕
I know my dog Pickles is in great hands when Richi comes to pet sit for him. Pickles loves lots of attention and love and Richi is so caring and always sends me photos to enjoy. I highly recommend these two pet lovers for times we need to be away from our fur babies.

Frequently asked questions about Rover

Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .
As of August 2026, there are 3,565 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Ozona. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Ozona walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Ozona maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Ozona choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Ozona. On Rover:

- 98% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
