I cannot recommend Alexis enough! We have a former stray who has only recently transitioned to being an indoor cat, so she can be very shy and particular about her food. I was nervous about leaving her, but Alexis was incredible. They respected her space, handled her specific feeding routine perfectly, and made sure she was safe and happy. If you have a rescue or a timid pet, this is the sitter for you. 5 stars!

About: We would love to welcome you to our family! We currently have four dogs and three cats who love playing in our fenced-in yard. I have always had a passion for working with and caring for animals. Growing up, I was raised around all types of animals. My family would rescue, care for, and rehabilitate sick or injured kittens and puppies. I would help clean wounds, bottle-feed young animals, and care for all the animals that came through our home. I also have experience providing emergency veterinary services to various animals. My partner also has a lot of experience taking care of animals. She has worked as a kennel assistant at a veterinary hospital and was a puppy raiser for a service dog. We offer daycare as well as overnight stays. We are comfortable providing medication to your pet and helping make them as comfortable as possible. During your pet's visit, they have the opportunity to play alongside our pets or can have a separate space for themselves. I currently work part-time on Mondays and Tuesdays but am home the rest of the week. My partner works from home, so there is always someone at home to play with and take care of your pets. We are often home all weekend unless we are taking a hike with our dogs. Our home offers a fenced-in yard for your fur babies to explore during the day and walks can be taken around the neighborhood. Our cats spend most of their time in the enclosed porch so they can be away from your pets if necessary and our two youngest dogs sleep in cages at night. We can easily provide a crate for your pet during the day or at night if requested and there is space for them to have their own space away from our pets as well.

About: Reliable lifelong pet owner and lover. I’m also known as the animal whisperer. Birds are known to come find me when they need help. I've rescued countless animals over the years. (not including all of the office spiders I rescue from my coworkers that I will scoop up and place outside away from their wrath) I treat all animals as if they were my best friends. I will chat with them like they understand me. I love them more than people. Bonus for you: I will also take a ton of pictures & videos of your beloved pets! (retired photographer here) I work from home now, so I have a lot more flexibility with my time to watch your loved ones. I would love to love to watch your fur babies! I have two lovable rescues, one is a Sr dog that requires multiple medication daily and monitoring of urine output, so you can say that lately I have gotten extra experience in special needs animals! I also know how to administer medication on schedule if needed. I am extremely reliable and professional. I will treat your pet and home as my own with the utmost respect. I do drop-ins, walks, and housesitting so that your pet companion is in familiar surroundings. I will care for and spoil your pet as if he or she were my own. I also love taking pictures of the animals that I am watching and updating you on what is going in their little animal world, because I know I love whenever I am away from my own pup and someone sends me updates of Leo it totally makes my day. Plus it also helps that I used to be a professional photographer and I get bored sometimes! In your home: I will care for your pets according to your instructions. I understand that each animal has its unique needs. I am impervious to begging and don’t give animals people food unless an owner gives me permission. Sorry, pups! 🐶 In my home: I have one fixed male dog named Leo that is friendly with other dogs. He is pretty chill if you would like to arrange a meet & greet to see how the pups get along. Leo is 7years old, and he enjoys the excitement of a new friend. After the newness wears off Leo goes back to taking naps and snuggling. He is really good with sharing his toys and bed with others. If I have to leave my home for any reason, it is always for a short period and the animals are always crated for their safety. Leo lives a pretty easy life. I let him into the backyard whenever he pleases, he is a pretty well behaved dog. I am also pretty comfortable in administering shots and medication to animals as that is what I do for humans all day long with my job.

About: I’m a pet mom of six full grown cats and two dogs. i’ve had them their entire lives. I rescued one of my cats from a ditch in a parking lot. I work early mornings so that I am available afternoons and evenings any day of the week. I am often in Wake Forest, Raleigh, Durham and Hillsborough. I have a fenced front and back yard so our pets just go out there to pee or poop. We feed our dogs and cats two times a day.

Excellent. Desiree is very dependable. She's also great with communication and pics and updates:) She also was really helpful recently when a large loose dog got into our yard - one of my male friends was scared of this dog but Desiree skillfully got the dog back outside our fence with no issues.

What an absolutely amazing experience. My cat was care for, loved on, and I received so many wonderful pictures. I’m always nervous to leave her since she has separation anxiety but she was calm and happy when I got home like I was never gone! Will definitely be using them as my pet sitter from here on out!!

Marissa came to the rescue and watched my kitten Donny when I was unexpectedly admitted the hospital this past week. I recently moved to Arlington and all of my family and close friends aren’t local, so you can imagine how anxious I was to quickly find somebody nearby to take care of my fur baby. She was very responsive, followed all of my instructions and sent lots of pics when she was with him, all of which put me at ease. I came home to a very happy cat and I know part of that is because he was in good hands while I was away. I am so grateful for Marissa’s help and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a kind, thoughtful, respectful pet sitter!

Vanessa stole my Tasso's heart!!! She was fabulous! I could not believe the photos AND videos that she sent me. She cast magical spells on the wee chap and caused him to appear like a professional doggy model. I wish I could post the photos Vanessa sent and include the very detailed updates throughout the day of her interaction with my Norwich Terrier. Vanessa simply spoiled my dog and was very indulgent with Mr. Biscuit our fat cat!! I will always book Vanessa first and foremost!

About: I’ve had/been around many different types of dogs my entire life. My family would always want me to come over and train/watch theirs animals for them like I was the go to person for anybody who got a new pet. I also use to volunteer at a boarding company to help feed/walk the dogs. I currently do doordash so I can pretty much fit any request in to my schedule. The most amount of time I would be away would probably be around 5-6 hours. I’m a dependable and caring pet sitter who treats every pet like my own. I know how important routines are, so I make sure pets are fed on time, get plenty of attention, and feel comfortable and safe while their owners are away. I’m patient, responsible, and good at picking up on what each pet needs, whether that’s playtime, walks, or just some extra cuddles. I also like to keep owners updated so they can relax knowing their pet is happy and well taken care of.

About: We have 4 dogs, a longhair chihuahua who we rescued when he was young, a chowchow mix whom we rescued from the woods as a puppy, and 2 great white pyranese who are primarily outside as guardian dogs. We absolutely love pets! They are our babies and will treat yours the same way! Growing up, we have always had dogs in the household and I wouldn't see it any other way . I have dog sat for multiple families. They are always supervised when together and separated when we run an errand. I've never run into any issues - most of them love all of the socialization! It's so much fun!! I am a stay-at-home mom and will be home full-time taking care of your babies as well as mine! We have lots of love and snuggles to go around! I look forward to hearing from you soon! If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to me! Thanks so much for checking out my profile! We live on 15 acres and have chickens, guinea fowl, and pigs. We keep them separated from all of the dogs that come visit. Our backyard is now fenced so there's a fenced area for our guests to run around! We also have a lot of dog toys here, so please try to resist bringing toys for your fur babies, I will worry they will get lost! ** My hours are approximately 6am-9pm. If you need to pick up or drop off later/earlier than that, we can discuss.** *if you refer someone to me and it ends in a completed stay, you will receive 1 free night stay for one of your dogs* I'm home full time so we will mostly be here with your fur baby. If we do leave for a playground or errand it's for a short time. I have two dogs of my own for socialization and a crate or separate room if needed if there's a dog that needs a break.
