“I enjoyed the meet and greet with Alex and Levi. Alex made me feel confident that my 2 cats would do well while we were away. He responded quickly to my messages about things before the drop-ins. Alex made detailed and fun to read notes about his drop-ins, along with great pics! Our cats sounded like they were happy during Alex's visits. When we returned, we could tell they did very well while we were away, thanks to Alex!”

“Melissa was great!! She made fast friends with my Pinky, is very knowledgeable about cats and made some great recommendations, and was quite reliable with check-ins. Highly recommended!”

“Kim was fabulous! She did drop in visits for our two cats while we were out of town for 10 days and it was such a relief to have her. We will definitely book with her in the future!”

“Karra is great. She was flexible with us when I messed up the timing in the app. She communicated all the time with us letting us know how our dogs were doing and she was super attentive. Our dogs loved her. We definitely will use her services again.”
“Elizabeth was great! She is very responsive and took good care of our three cats while we were gone, sending lots of photos and making sure they were fed, watered, and entertained. Highly recommend!”

“Kaela was great! My cat is a little shy around new people but warmed up to Kaela very quickly. She took excellent care of my cat while I was away and sent detailed updates and plenty of pictures.”

“Nicole has been great and took pictures to send to me while I was out of town. Ad anxious as I was, it was a relief to see that my cat was well taken care of. Would definitely recommend using her services in the future!”

About: I love all animals. I love walking, am playful with them and take them to parks etc. I had a German Pointer, Vita, from puppy til her death. She was extremely loyal to me. Although I lived with my husband and kids, I was her person. Overall, I can tell animals are very "attracted" to me and even my friends notice that with their pets. I help taking care of my son's black lab. Im available most of days after 4PM and all day Mondays and Tuesdays. I love walking in the parks and neighberhoods. Your pets will be safe and get necessary care and excersises with me. If boarded in my house I will take care of him like my own pet. No worries. I have an unfanced big yard but I love walking so Id do that twice a day. With your permission I'd take the dog to the parks and hiking trails.
“It was very obvious from our interactions with Haven, that she really cared about making sure our boy was happy and comfortable. She gave lots of attention and love to our pup. We were kept updated with messages and pictures from each visit. Over all a great experience. We will definitely be reaching out again for future bookings.”

About: I've taken care of my own pets and many of the pets of family, friends, and neighbors for over twenty years. I also have a service dog who I've trained mostly on my own, with refinement help from a professional, so you can feel confident that your fur family will receive exceptional care and attention from a patient and knowledgeable handler. I have an open and flexible schedule every day of the week, so it shouldn't be difficult to match what you need for your pet(s)! I have a 4yo poodle service dog who would only need to be with me for overnight stays or if your dog(s) would like a mid day playmate. He's incredibly sociable and energetic when off duty. Either together or solo, I will make sure to follow any routines or specific instructions we discuss and care for your fur family as if they were my own.
About: I’ve been passionate about caring for animals my entire life and have owned dogs for as long as I can remember. Professionally, I have nearly 9 years of experience in the pet care industry, including working at a veterinary hospital and currently serving as the General Manager and Co-owner of a dog daycare, boarding, grooming, and training facility. I’m comfortable caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities, and I’m experienced in administering medications, including insulin injections, oral medications, IV fluids, topical treatments, and more. Whether your pup needs extra medical attention, a structured routine, or simply lots of love and companionship, I’m happy to provide the care that’s best for them. Every pet is unique, and I believe in treating each one like they’re part of my own family. From long walks and playtime to belly rubs, booty scratches, and plenty of cuddles, I’ll make sure your furry family member feels safe, happy, and loved. My goal is to follow your routine and preferences so you can have complete peace of mind while you’re away! I currently work full time managing/co-owning a dog kennel, but I work early mornings until about 1pm and create my own work schedule so can be flexible! I love every dog that I meet and care for like they are my own fur babies. My dogs personally are spoiled brats and I feel like that is the only right way to dog mom haha!
About: I have had dogs from 30lbs to 150 lbs and I have loved them all! In my free time I volunteer hiking with dogs at a local animal shelter. And spend the rest of the time spoiling my two fur babies at home. I work remote and have a flexible schedule that can accommodate a wide range of needs during the weekdays as well as on the weekends. My two fur babies are trained to listen off leash, but love to go for walks on leash. One is a couch potatoes that can be trusted and one a wild puppy that is crate trained. So I am used to a wide range of care needs.
About: I have professional experience working at a veterinary kennel and am trained in proper medication and subcutaneous fluid administration. I also know how to work with anxious, elderly, and disabled pets. I love getting to know each pet’s personal needs and quirks in order to give them the best care possible! I am a recent college graduate and am doing pet sitting full time! This means I will be able to schedule my days around your pet‘s needs. My care includes feeding, walking, continuation of training, and giving pets all the love they deserve! I will be at your house as much as I can to give your pet the best experience. I am willing to help pets that need assistance getting around the house or that have other special needs. Overall, I want to create as safe, comforting, and loving of a space as possible for your pets while you’re away.
About: I have taken care of animals since I was 11 years old and I absolutely love meeting new people! My friends and family always refers me as the “crazy cat lady” because I have 3 cats of my own! Currently have flexible and open availability for your pet sitting needs! Send me a message and I can help! Please let me know at least 2 days ahead of time if you need to make any last minute changes! I make sure if pets need to be leashed that it happens before going outside or leaving the house! I also always clean up after each animal to ensure cleanliness in the neighborhood!

As of September 2026, there are 1,193 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Kittrell. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Kittrell. On Rover:
- 91% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 91% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
