My family would rescue, care for, and rehabilitate sick or injured kittens and puppies. I would help clean wounds, bottle-feed young animals, and care for all the animals that came through our home. We are often home all weekend unless we are taking a hike with our dogs. Our home offers a fenced-in yard for your fur babies to explore during the day and walks can be taken around the neighborhood. Our cats spend most of their time in the enclosed porch so they can be away from your pets if necessary and our two youngest dogs sleep in cages at night. We can easily provide a crate for your pet during the day or at night if requested and there is space for them to have their own space away from our pets as well.

About: I’ve had/been around many different types of dogs my entire life. My family would always want me to come over and train/watch theirs animals for them like I was the go to person for anybody who got a new pet. I also use to volunteer at a boarding company to help feed/walk the dogs. I currently do doordash so I can pretty much fit any request in to my schedule. About: I have been around dogs my whole life. Dogs seem to take to me well. I’ve worked as a junior groomer for a few months and trained my own dog. I worked as an Animal Shelter Attendant for several months and also worked as a Veterinary Assistant for over 4 and a half years, where I gained experience handling medications, monitoring health concerns, and providing compassionate care in fast-paced environments. I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your pets, and I treat every animal like they’re my own. Whether your pet needs long walks, playtime, medication administration, extra patience, or just lots of love and attention, I’m committed to making them feel safe, comfortable, and happy while you’re away. I’m reliable, attentive, and experienced with pets of all sizes, temperaments, and energy levels. I’d love the opportunity to meet you and your furry family members! Able to sit for your pets any weekdays/Saturday, 7 AM-8PM. Overnight is situational but can potentially be worked in! I offer walking/bathing/nail trimming/administering medications (both oral and injectable)/playtime/and of course feeding. I care for my clients’ pets with the same attention, patience, and compassion that I would give my own animals. I make sure each pet’s routine is followed closely, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medications, and any special instructions to help them feel comfortable and secure while their owner is away.

I currently care for five dogs and have extensive hands-on experience managing multiple dogs at once, including the care of three litters and several additional dogs in the past. I am available seven days a week with flexible hours. If needed, I am able to safely crate your dog or place them in a designated area. About: I have cared for my own personal pets as well as friend’s and family’s pets. I have enjoyed every minute of it. I walk, groom, feed, and bathe when needed. I am a graduate student at NCCU in Durham so I don’t have time for a full time position but Rover allows me to have the flexibility to do pet sitting when possible. Weekends are my most available time and I will also have time in between my clinicals and my classes that I can do walks or drop in visits! I have always been an animal lover, I have grown up in a household that has always had multiple pets at a time. My pets get my full attention and affection at al times when I am home! About: I have had dogs from 30lbs to 150 lbs and I have loved them all! In my free time I volunteer hiking with dogs at a local animal shelter. And spend the rest of the time spoiling my two fur babies at home. I work remote and have a flexible schedule that can accommodate a wide range of needs during the weekdays as well as on the weekends. My two fur babies are trained to listen off leash, but love to go for walks on leash. One is a couch potatoes that can be trusted and one a wild puppy that is crate trained. So I am used to a wide range of care needs.

About: I’ve been taking care of pets since I was little, ranging from reptiles all the way to several dogs. I currently have 3 dogs that I love with all my heart so I’ll always have the best interest for your loved fur friends. “Amanda was great with our handsome Finn! We had a last minute matter come up out of state and our regular sitter was out of town as well. Luckily after searching and searching I was able to find Amanda! We have a 7ish year old Doberman who is super loving and quirky and she took such great care of him.
