About: Having been a dog lover since childhood, I’ve always had dog sitting gigs for a side hustle. I also managed a professional boarding kennel for 5 years where I learned to care for pets of all sizes, personalities and needs. The great outdoors are my life, and I have grown into a passion hunting dogs, and have spent the last 4 years training my Labrador retriever. I have two dogs of my own, West, my four year old trusty hunting black Labrador, and Tilly a nine year old German Shepherd mix. I’m mostly available on weekends (Friday-Sunday), but depending on your dog’s daily needs, I can be flexible. I live in Oak Creek, but work in Steamboat Springs at a very dog friendly environment. I ensure your pet gets the basic care they need, plus extra love, photos, and time outside. I am flexible on whether you want me to stay in your home, or in mine, again depending on the specific pet’s needs and location.

Stuart and Victoria were awesome! I had never met them and needed to leave my 10-year-old Doodle for a week during Christmas holidays. He got to be their inside pet the whole time and their family loved on him like he was their own. They sent pictures and were very responsive to chat and be flexible. Your pet can also roam their land and get plenty of exercise. I would highly recommend!

About: Hi! I’m currently a Clinical Mental Health Counseling master’s student at Ole Miss. My passion is animal-assisted therapy because I’ve seen firsthand how much our furry friends can positively impact our lives. I grew up on a farm and have a dog of my own, so I understand that pets are family. I’ll make it my priority to ensure your pets feel safe, loved, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away. I also have experience working with dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and temperaments through my time as a veterinary assistant. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, senior, or needs a little extra patience, I’m comfortable providing the care they need. I’m also happy to administer medications and help with other routine care if needed. I know how reassuring it is to receive updates while you’re away, so I’ll be sure to send plenty of photos and messages so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is happy and in good hands. I can’t wait to meet you and your furry family members! I work full times but am able to manage! I don’t start work till Jan 5th so I am 100% free until then!! Just send me a message! I offer whatever kind of care your animals needs. This includes boarding, feeding healthy meals (i cook a lot fot my own dogs but it’s up to you), taking to the bathroom, going on walks, playing, and cuddles!

I understand how important it is to have someone dependable looking after your pet, and I’ll treat every dog like they’re my own. I’m happy to help with walks, feeding, playtime, bathroom breaks, companionship, and keeping your dog comfortable and safe while you’re away. My schedule is currently very open and flexible, which gives me plenty of time to provide your pets with the attention and care they deserve. I’m available throughout the week and on weekends for walks, drop-ins, sitting, or boarding. I treat every pet like they’re my own and always prioritize their safety, comfort, and routine. I follow all feeding, walking, medication, and care instructions closely, keep a clean and secure environment, and make sure pets receive plenty of attention, exercise, and affection while in my care.

Abigal did a great job watching Bo. Was very communicative and very accommodating to any time changing. Was also extremely nice in all our conversations and communications. Sent me pictures and gave updates throughout my trip. Would absolutely leave my dog with Abigal again if I went somewhere.

Lindsey was absolutely the best person I could have wished for to keep our dog Ruby while we were out of town. After exhausting all other familiar options, I turned to Rover and prayed I would feel comfortable with someone. Lindsey met with us before our trip at a local park with her sweet dog Aldo, and we immediately felt comfortable. She made Ruby feel at home and catered to her every need and then some. Ruby slept in their bed, played ball all day long (her favorite obsession), and enjoyed plenty of walks. We also received lots of messages and photos while we were out of town. When we picked Ruby up, I could tell they truly enjoyed having Ruby in their home. I could not recommend Lindsey highly enough to take care of your pet!

Wilson had a great time with Natalie and "the guys" -- her boyfriend and his friends who played football (or at least a good game of keep away) with Wilson. He came back exhausted in the best possible way, a sure sign he had lots of fun. Natalie kept us posted on walks and other adventures and even took him for a ride to Starbucks. Wilson wasn't forthcoming about whether he enjoyed a pup cup but I'd bet his puppy dog eyes convinced either her or the baristas there to make sure he was well compensated for his cuteness.

Nicolette was so amazing with my dog! She sent us pictures everyday and always kept us updated. She played with him outside and made sure he had lots of attention, also taking care of his medicine and cone perfectly! He had gotten surgery only a few days prior when we dropped him off and I couldn’t have been more comfortable with him in her care. Definitely recommend!!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in MS ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.

If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
