About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I’ve grown up caring for 5 dogs, a cat, a tortoise, and plenty of other pets over the years, so being around animals feels very natural to me. I understand that every pet has their own personality and routine, and I always try to make them feel comfortable, safe, and loved while their owners are away. I’ve helped take care of pets for friends, family, and neighbors by feeding them, walking them, playing with them, and giving them lots of attention. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, young, or older, I’m patient, dependable, and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. I’m currently in class Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 9am–12pm, and I work Friday and Saturday nights, but outside of those times I have a very flexible schedule. I’m available most afternoons, evenings, and weekends, and I’m happy to work with your pet’s routine and needs. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, whether that’s going on walks, playing with them, or just giving them company and attention while you’re away. I always try to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for in any environment. At our house during college, we’ve had 3 cats, so I’m very used to caring for animals daily and understanding different personalities and routines. I’ve also helped take care of foster dogs from the animal shelter, which taught me patience and how to work with pets that may be nervous or need extra attention. I’ll always treat your pets like they’re my own and make sure they get lots of love, attention, and proper care.

About: I have grown up with and around animals my whole entire life. I have pet sat since I was 16 and I have loved it. I am currently a student at Ole Miss and have classes for about 3 hours a day. I also babysit around 3 hours a day but apart from that I am very flexible I currently have no pets, so if your pet has issues with other animals it will be no problem! I will provide excellent care for your pet

About: What sets me apart is the level of care, knowledge, and attention I bring to every pet. I’ve been pet sitting consistently since 2018 and have built lasting relationships with many repeat clients who trust me with their pets year after year. I have experience administering medications, working extensively with senior pets, and providing individualized care based on each animal’s unique needs and personality. I also have some experience reinforcing training and maintaining consistency with established commands and routines. My background includes a degree in Biological Sciences, where I studied subjects such as animal behavior and physiology. This education, combined with years of hands-on experience, has made me highly observant and attentive to changes in behavior, appetite, mobility, and overall well-being. Whether your pet needs extra patience, specialized care, plenty of exercise, or simply lots of affection, I prioritize their health, comfort, and happiness while treating them like a member of my own family. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. During the week, I work from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM and have a lunch break that allows me to come home for midday potty breaks, walks, and check-ins. I typically walk in the mornings before work, return home at lunch, and then spend additional time walking, playing, and relaxing with pets after work. On weekends, my schedule is even more flexible. Whether I’m spending time around the house, visiting a local park, or enjoying time around town, I love having dogs join me when appropriate. I intentionally plan my weekends around the pets in my care, and activities are always tailored to each animal’s age, energy level, personality, and needs. Whether your pet prefers long walks, playtime, quiet companionship, or extra support as a senior, they’ll receive plenty of attention, affection, and individualized care. When caring for pets in their own home, my goal is to keep their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I follow feeding schedules, exercise routines, medication instructions, and any other care preferences provided by the owner. I understand that pets are often most comfortable in their familiar environment, so I focus on providing consistent care, companionship, and attention while you’re away. I am highly observant and attentive to changes in behavior, appetite, energy levels, or overall well-being, and I communicate regularly with owners through updates and photos. Whether your pet needs a brisk walk, playtime, cuddles on the couch, medication administration, or extra patience as a senior pet, I strive to make them feel safe, loved, and comfortable until you return home.

About: I grew up around dogs and have always loved animals. When I came to college, I adopted a cat and later rescued another kitten I found in a car, so now I have two kitties of my own! I’m very comfortable caring for both cats and dogs and understand how important pets are to their families. I’m currently very flexible and have plenty of time to give your pets attention, playtime, and care throughout the day. I’m available most weekdays and weekends for drop-ins, walks, and overnight care. I’m happy to work with your pet’s normal routine to help them feel comfortable and cared for. I always make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away. I pay close attention to routines, feeding schedules, potty breaks, and any special instructions. I’ll treat your pets like my own and make sure they get lots of love, attention, and patience.

“Jenna did an excellent job following detailed instructions. She always made sure to send pictures and asked questions to ensure the dogs were as comfortable as possible. She had to deal with handymen coming in and out of the house during her stay and went out of her way to keep the dogs safe during the process. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable sitter.”

“Being the 1st time in 12 years I had to find someone to care for our 12 yr old who is diabetic and blind. Finding Graham was a blessing. I was gone 5 days and received pictures and updates a couple of times daily. I could not have asked for any better, thank you Graham for what you do…”

About: I’ve been trusted to feed, walk, play with, and love on pets all my life! I grew up in a house with medium-large dogs (labs, Australian Sheppards, border collies), and got my own small dog 10 years ago. I also adopted multiple cats 2 years ago, and I can handle some reptiles, as I had a pet turtle for over 10 years. I’m an animal lover that will treat your fur baby as if it’s my own! Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Oxford
Hannah was wonderful with my cats and gave me real peace of mind while I was away. She was reliable, thoughtful, communicative, and clearly cared about making sure they felt safe and comfortable. I really appreciated the updates and her attention to detail. I would absolutely recommend Hannah to anyone looking for a kind and trustworthy sitter.

I hesitate to review Mason because I’m worried she will become so popular that I won’t be able to book her in the future. She is a great communicator and very dependable. I know that my cats will be just as loved and cared for when she visits as if I were home to do so myself! Mason also takes the best pictures (like straight up glamour shots) to send - clearly my cats love her too. I can’t say enough good things about her.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
