“Lettie was great. This is the first time my dog had to go to a stranger's home for a few days, so I was nervous. Lettie sent me pictures of her during the day and she looked happy so I was able to enjoy our trip. I recommend Lettie for your dogs.”

“My two pups just spent two weeks with Chris and Tommie. With any other pet sitter, my dogs shake when going and dart out when leaving. Not with this husband and wife pet sitter team. My dogs leap out of the car and run up the stairs to the house. On their way home, they almost seemed sad to have to leave. Significantly stress-free to board here, plus they treat your dogs so lovingly. The clincher is the photos and videos they send to alleviate any concern that your dogs are homesick-they love all the attention and playtime they get with Chris and Tommie.”

“Shanina takes such good care of Zelda while I am away- once again she came back to me happy and well taken care of. Thank you so much!! We will see you again soon! 🫶🏼”

“Mengqi is the best pupsitter!!! Our dog Neo had great time there! Mengqi is very sweet and can fit all Neo needs. She sent daily update pictures and videos, and Neo was kept busy with play and exercise, and was never left alone. Mengqi’s dog Oreo was also super sweet, and even though our Neo is shy, Oreo was a great friend and gave him space. I highly recommend Mengqi to take care of your pup- you will not regret it!”

“Gage was really great with Bash. He communicated regularly and provided daily updates with pictures and videos. Bash was more than happy to stay with Gage and I would be happy to book him again.”

“Myla was so great! She was easy to talk to and responded to any questions in a very timely manner. My 2 dogs are rescue dogs and showed some initial anxiety when left for the first time. Myla was very responsive and caring and gave them exactly what they needed. She sent updates while we were gone and we returned to some very well cared for and happy dogs. I would highly recommend her!”

“I appreciate Brett & Stephanie so much! They took good care of our fur baby! Stephanie kept us updated with messages and pictures. They made our first experience with Rover a very pleasant one! Whenever we visit our family in the Memphis area, we will most certainly book with them.”

About: I’m a dependable animal lover who genuinely enjoys spending time with pets and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away. I’m patient, attentive, and good at following routines, whether that means walks, playtime, feeding schedules, or just giving pets extra attention and affection. I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet, so I always aim to provide reliable communication and updates so you can feel at ease. I’m comfortable around different personalities and energy levels, from playful dogs to more relaxed pets who just want company.Your pet’s comfort and happiness are my priority, and I’ll treat them with the same care I’d want for my own. ❤️ I am full-time at home with no other responsibilities outside of caring for your pet, which means I’m available for consistent attention, flexible scheduling, and even short-notice bookings whenever needed. I have a non-fenced yard with lots of area to play and run. I have no animals of my own, so that is nothing to be concerned about. However, I don't own any crates or leashes to use with your pet.
“Ms. Sharon was awesome! I had good vibes from her from start to finish. She kept me well informed the entire visit, sending lots of updates and pictures throughout the day. I had no worries that my fur baby was well taken care of. Such a beautiful, welcoming, and loving spirit! I will most definitely book again!”

About: I have worked with all sorts of animals since I was 12 years old ranging from little puppies to even donkeys. I’m currently in college playing basketball and dog sitting as a side job to help me as I’m a full-time student athlete. My neighbors and friends always come to me first to take care of any kind of animal and I’m a deep cleaner so if any mess happens I’m there too clean it up and, I am able to wash dogs as well if needed. I can also administer a kind of medication if needed. My part-time work lets me easily fit pet care into my day with lots of walks, play, and snuggles. I am currently not available for boarding, but any kind of drop-in visits or walking I’m available at any time of the day. My part-time availability allows for a very hands-on and involved approach to pet care, ensuring my furry companions are well-exercised, stimulated, loved, and healthy. I do not have a fencing backyard, but I am always capable of walking your dog and making sure that they can be put in their crate or whatever the task maybe.

“Another great job by Maceson. Sullivan gets so excited every time we drop him off because Maceson and Apollo are great with him. We will continue to use Maceson every time we go out of town.”

Jessie Is the ABSOLUTE BEST!. Going above and beyond is an understatement when it comes to Jessie. She treats my baby boy Zuko as her own. Zuko wasn’t feeling too well and need to be taken to the vet. Instead of me calling off work Jessie afford to take him for me on short notice. She even went to the store at night to grab something that would help with Zuko upset stomach. She is amazing and Zuko loves to be around her and her husband. He gets so excited and they shower him with love and affection. Can’t wait to book again!!!

Titeara took wonderful care of our Phoebe. 💜 She was very intentional about getting to know her and introducing her to the new space. She asked great questions about what would make Phoebe feel safe and happy while we were away. It’s always hard to leave behind a pet especially with someone new, but we received so many pictures and updates that demonstrated attention to our girl and care for our preferences for her. Phoebe had a great time there, and it was really great to see pictures of her daily- clearly confident, loving, and playful.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
