About: Hi! I’m a student who loves all animals! I have 2 dogs and a cat of my own, volunteer at the Humane Society, and have experience caring for and handling pets. I’d love to meet your furry friends and give them lots of love and attention! 💓 Pet care fits easily into my daily schedule because I’m a student with a flexible schedule. I’m able to work around my classes and make time for walks, drop-ins, and pet sitting. I already care for my own pets every day, so providing consistent attention and care for other pets is something I’m comfortable making time for. I’m comfortable caring for pets in their home and keeping them comfortable in their familiar environment. I’ll follow their normal routine, provide food and fresh water, give them attention and playtime, and keep their space clean. I’ll also make sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away.
About: I’ve been taking care for dogs for over four years, and during that time, I’ve gained experience with a variety of breeds, sizes, and temperaments. For the past few years, I’ve been regularly taking care of my neighbors’ pets, providing everything from daily walks to overnight stays. I’m passionate about dogs and truly enjoy spending time with them, whether it’s playing, going on walks, or just relaxing together. My goal is always to ensure pets feel safe, happy, and comfortable while their owners are away. I’m currently a full-time nursing student at the University of Memphis, but my schedule is quite flexible as of right now since I’m on summer break. I can easily find time throughout the day to check in on your pets and provide the care they need. Since pet sitting is my primary job, I have even more flexibility on weekends and can dedicate extra time to watching and caring for your pets. Whether it’s daily visits, walks, or overnight stays, I’m happy to accommodate your needs When it comes to caring for pets in their own home, I prioritize maintaining their routine and comfort. I make sure to follow any specific instructions regarding feeding, exercise, and medication schedules. I keep their environment familiar and stress-free by providing plenty of playtime, affection, and attention. I aim to create a positive, safe experience that helps your pets feel relaxed and happy in their own space.

About: As a child I dreamed of being a vet, but life took me another way. That hasn’t dampened my love of animals though. I can’t remember a time in my life where I haven’t had a pet…dogs, cats, lizards, fish, hermit crabs, gerbils, hamsters…. Currently, I have a Bernese Mountain dog and a Golden Retriever who are my world. My kids are grown so my dogs are my children. If you want someone who will adore your dog or cat and treat them like you would, I will be waiting for your message. I do not have another job nor children at home to care for so I have a lot of availability. I will be punctual because I know I do not appreciate it when my friends have made my dogs wait to be feed or go outside to potty. I have a dog with hip dysplasia so I would want someone who respected my wishes in order to protect my sweet puppy’s hips. Therefore, I will abide by any boundaries set or responsibilities required of me. I do not take anyone’s desire for safety lightly. I will treat your animal as if it were my own.
About: I am very conscientious and caring. I have owned and cared for a lot of different animals. I will put your mind at ease and will work with you for the top quality care of your pet. I have a wide open daily schedule. I am an early riser and very flexible to meet your needs. I have a horse I visit and want to fill the rest of my time helping others with pet care. I have experienced firsthand how hard it is to get someone you can trust to look after your furry family and realize it is a need in the community. I currently work with my own two dogs every day to ensure they get the exercise needed and make their dog food from scratch so they remain healthy. I understand that your pet needs interaction and breaks from being by themselves while you are away. Commercial pet boarding just doesn’t cut it and takes them out of their safe familiar environment. Raising their stress levels. They don’t need that in your absence. I can take that stress away and make some friends in the process.
About: My name is Samantha I have been surrounded by pets ever since I can remember. I am Pet CPR and First-Aid certified as well as previous years experience in a Natural and Holistic Pet Retail store where I gained expansive knowledge in all areas of pet care. You could consider me your personal pet consultant! From a young age, I found joy in taking care of animals of all shapes and sizes. I put a lot of pride in providing specialized care into the pets I’m caring for, just like they were my own. I myself have a special needs dog, which has taught me even more patience and thoughtfulness when caring for pets. Every single animal is unique and requires a different level of care, and I am able to cater to that individual pets needs. I’m able to provide training to dogs of all ages, nutrition guidance, and recommendations for overall health and wellness. I can’t wait to meet your pet! I have open availability, if not already booked with other pet care. I have my own dog hiking business where I provide enriching nature walks to dogs around Memphis. I am extremely detail oriented and will follow any instructions to a T. I understand the importance of establishing and maintaining routine with pets, so any needs or specifics needed, I will provide. As I mentioned in my About me, I am certified in pet first aid and CPR so in case of a life threatening emergency, I can provide immediate care and transport to an emergency vet.

About: Hey there, thanks for visiting my profile! A little about me: I have loved animals for as long as I can remember. I truly enjoy getting to know each pet’s personality. I’m the kind of person who pays attention to detail and notices little changes in their behavior. My goal is to make your pets feel safe, loved, and comfortable while their person is away. I adopted my German Shepherd when he was about 6 months old. I was told he would need obedience training. Instead, I spent a lot of time learning, practicing, and working with him myself. He’s now able to sit and stay while I throw his ball and then wait for his release command before running after it. That took patience, consistency, and a lot of trust-building. Training my pupper taught me so much about working with dogs. I’m comfortable with pets who have big personalities, lots of energy, anxiety, quirks, or just need a little extra patience. I’ll follow your instructions carefully, respect your pet’s routine, and care for them like they are my own. I’m currently working occasional shifts, which gives me excellent availability for pet care. My schedule is flexible, and I’m happy to work with your pet’s routine whenever possible. Safety always comes first for me. I’m the type of person who will double and triple check important details, such as doors, gates, leashes, food instructions, and anything else needed to keep your pet safe. I take pride in creating a calm, safe environment for my own pets, and I would do the same for any pet in my care. Trust is a big part of letting someone care for your animals. Because of this, I am prompt, reliable, careful, and respectful of your home and your pet’s routine.
About: I stand out because of my reliability, attention to detail, and experience caring for pets of all sizes. As a homeowner, I understand the importance of trust and security. I provide personalized care, whether it’s maintaining feeding schedules, giving companionship, or taking long walks. I’m also experienced in handling energetic pets and senior animals, ensuring they feel comfortable and safe. Happy Pets, Happy Owners! Tail-Wagging care while you're away. I’m highly dependable, organized, and communicative—so you can have peace of mind knowing that your home will be in great hands as well. Pet care fits perfectly into my routine. I’m available on all week days and weekends. This flexibility allows me to provide attentive care, whether it’s daily walks, check-ins, or overnight stays. I prioritize each pet’s needs and schedule to ensure they get the attention and exercise they deserve. Owners can count on me to be reliable, responsive, and dedicated to their pet’s well-being. I prioritize safety, trust, and a comfortable environment when caring for pets in their own homes. I follow all instructions provided by pet owners, including feeding schedules, exercise routines, and any special care needs. Whether I’m house sitting, pet sitting, or dog walking, I ensure pets feel secure and relaxed in their familiar surroundings. I’m attentive to their behavior, provide companionship, and maintain a clean and safe space. My goal is to give pet owners peace of mind, knowing their pets and home are in responsible, caring hands.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
