About: I have previous experience in dog, cat, and house sitting. I’ve had several pets throughout my life and all have lived long healthy lives in my care. I currently volunteer with House of Mews on a weekly basis. I have knowledge and experience in caregiving, bathing, and administering medicine. I follow directions well and will give your furry friend the best care possible. Currently working my own hours, so I am flexible and free to visit whenever you need me. If you have any special requests, just let me know and we can work out pricing. My home is unfortunately unavailable for boarding. But I’m comfortable taking care of pets in all types of environments and don’t mind traveling with them in my car if you’d like me to enrich their day at a dog park or on a nature trail.

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and I’ve dedicated both my education and experience to caring for them. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Care and Behavior and I’m currently continuing my education in veterinary medicine. I also have hands on experience working with animals in professional boarding and daycare settings, along with several years of animal shelter volunteering. I’m comfortable caring for pets of different breeds, ages, sizes, personalities, and energy levels. My education in animal behavior has taught me the importance of understanding each pet as an individual, recognizing their body language, respecting their boundaries, and keeping their normal routine as consistent as possible. Whether your pet loves walks and playtime or would rather curl up and relax, I’ll adjust their care to what makes them happiest and most comfortable. My goal is for every pet in my care to feel safe, loved, and at home while their family is away. 🐾💕 I currently have a flexible schedule, which gives me plenty of time to provide pets with the attention and care they need. For boarding, I'm able to plan my day around feeding schedules, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and your pet's normal routine. I'm also available throughout the week and on weekends. I live in a pet friendly apartment with an enclosed patio where pets can safely get some fresh air and relax. My community also has an on site fenced dog playground for supervised play and exercise, and I’m conveniently located near Shelby Farms trails and park for walks and outdoor time. Inside my home, pets are welcome to get comfortable and make themselves at home. I always follow each pet parent’s routine, feeding instructions, and safety preferences, and pets can be crated if requested. I have a friendly cat of my own who will remain comfortably in a separate room during boarding stays, giving your pet their own space to relax and settle in. 🐾

About: I’ve owned different breeds of dogs from pit bulls to chihuahuas. Growing up I was the dog sitter for everyone around. I bathed walked and took care of them mostly from the comfort of their own homes as their owners were away on trips. I am between jobs rn so for the next couple weeks I am completely free any time of day any day for whatever needs my pets may need. My yard is not fenced in so outside time at my house will consist of being walked on a leash for as long as the dogs may need. But otherwise they will be inside.

About: I’m a lifelong dog lover and current pet parent to a 10-year-old terrier mix, so I understand the care, patience, and attention pets need at every stage of life. We take trips to Shelby Farms and occasionally visit Overton Park, and I truly enjoy staying active and engaged with dogs during walks and outings. Before my current dog, I cared for my previous dog for 11 years, giving me extensive experience with senior dogs, long-term routines, and recognizing changes in behavior or comfort. I love dogs of all sizes, ages, and energy levels—from playful puppies to older, calmer companions. I’ve also provided house sitting and pet sitting services for dogs and cats in Oxford, MS. I follow care instructions closely and focus on keeping pets comfortable, safe, and relaxed in their own environment. I’m happy to take dogs to nearby parks if requested and always prioritize your pet’s routine and well-being. Pet care is already part of my daily routine. As a dog owner, my days are structured around regular walks, outdoor time, feeding schedules, and check-ins, so adding client pets fits in seamlessly. We take daily walks and park visits, and I’m happy to adjust timing based on your pet’s normal routine. I build my schedule to allow for consistency and flexibility, whether that means morning, midday, or evening visits. I’m reliable with timing, comfortable following detailed instructions, and make sure pets receive the attention and care they need without feeling rushed. For house sitting and drop-ins, I plan my week around booked services to ensure each pet gets focused, unhurried care and plenty of attention. For drop-ins and dog walks, I keep things simple, dependable, and matched to your pet’s routine. During drop-ins, I take care of feeding, water, litter or potty breaks, and a little playtime or cuddles so your pet feels comfortable. For dog walks, I make sure your pup gets a safe, enjoyable stroll that fits their energy level. My goal is to show up like a good neighbor — reliable, caring, and right on schedule.

About: I’ve been around dogs most of my life and have cared for many of my own over the years. I previously worked at a veterinary clinic, so I’m familiar with basic health care and how to keep pets safe and happy. I’ve also volunteered at animal shelters, working with dogs of all kinds and making sure they get the love and attention they deserve. While I work full-time, I make sure dogs in my care get plenty of attention and activity after work. We spend time playing in the backyard, relaxing, and giving lots of affection. My daughter loves being involved and helps make sure every dog feels extra loved. We also enjoy going on walks when possible to keep dogs happy and active. I treat every pet like part of the family! In my home, they’ll enjoy a safe, relaxed environment with a fenced yard for playtime, lots of attention, and plenty of affection. I also have two dogs who are great companions for friendly pups. About: For 5 years I took care of the owners 3 dogs and their house back in my home town until I moved to Central Arkansas to further my career. I graduated from Central Baptist College in conway where i played basketball for their women's program and studied in the Kinesiology field to become an Occupational Therapist. I also have an associated degree in Pre Physical Therapy. I am working in child care and trying to save money for Grad. School. I have always had a love for dogs and it breaks my heart that i cant afford one at my apartment complex. So it would be the highlight of my day to come play, walk, and fed your fur babies! I am working M-F and completely free on weekends. I typically get home from work at 4pm, so if you need some care for nights during the week i can do that. I am open to anytime on the weekends Get down on the pet’s level and interact with them. Reassure my client that i’ll attend to and care for their cat or dog in the best possible manner. While also keeping in mind the fact that leaving a pet at home can be stressful for both the pet and pet parent.

About: Hello! In addition to providing care for my own 'zoo' (currently 3 dogs and 3 cats), I worked in the Pet Care dept at Petsmart for 2 years and have fostered for the Humane Society of Memphis. As far as senior care, I was honored to help care for two of my 15-yr old dogs as theyvprepared to cross the Rainbow Bridge. They required daily medication and lots of tender love and care, including hand-made meals 😊 I do have a full-time job, but, when I'm with your pets, they are my priority. Unfortunately, I can only housesit on select weekends. I adjust my calendar to make sure I can devote the time and attention that your pets deserve. Due to my 'zoo', I can't care for any additional animals in my home at this time. I want pets to feel as comfortable as possible, so I will follow all instructions to the 'T'.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
