About: I’ve had a strong love for dogs since I was a small child, and caring for them has always come naturally to me. I’m playful and energetic with active dogs, while also being calm and comforting to more laid-back pups who just want cuddles and company. I truly enjoy getting to know each dog’s unique personality and making them feel safe, loved, and happy. I’d love the opportunity to enjoy every special moment with your fur baby and care for them like they’re my own. Since it’s summer and I’ve already graduated, I have a very open and flexible schedule and am available most days at almost any time. I’m able to stop by in the morning, afternoon, and again before the night ends to make sure your dog is comfortable, cared for, and getting plenty of attention throughout the day. Taking great care of your dog and making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved will always be my top priority. I have a fenced yard, feeding bowls, and a leash to help keep your dog safe and comfortable while in my care. I’m also more than willing to purchase any additional supplies needed to make sure your dog is cared for properly and feels as comfortable as possible. Your pet’s safety, happiness, and well-being will always come first with me.
“We hired Josh for some dog walking. He was very good at calming down our high energy dogs to put leashes on, arrived on time, and gave full 30 minute walks. He also followed some strict rules about our gate unfailingly.”

“Jaymes has been great with my high-energy German Shepherd puppy! He goes the extra mile to reinforce the training we've been working on and make sure she's safe and happy. He clearly has a good amount of experience with dogs and is well-versed in the basic principles of dog behavior. Highly recommend!”

About: I’ve taken care of pets my whole life but the past 2 years i’ve used it as another source of income, i’ve got an elderly dog and always worry about him when i’m away so it’s my personal mission to make sure that pet parents feel completely worry free while they’re away! I’m a college student at the University of Memphis and i’m also working as a server part time! Pet care will be my priority while your pets are in my hands. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine and follow all care instructions closely, including feeding, walks, playtime, medications, and any special needs. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I help maintain their normal environment to reduce stress and keep them feeling secure. I always ensure doors, gates, and other potential hazards are monitored carefully, and I keep the space clean and tidy. I also provide regular updates and photos so owners can feel confident that their pets are receiving attentive, loving care while they’re away!

I am between jobs rn so for the next couple weeks I am completely free any time of day any day for whatever needs my pets may need. My yard is not fenced in so outside time at my house will consist of being walked on a leash for as long as the dogs may need. But otherwise they will be inside.

I am working M-F and completely free on weekends. I typically get home from work at 4pm, so if you need some care for nights during the week i can do that. I am open to anytime on the weekends Get down on the pet’s level and interact with them. Reassure my client that i’ll attend to and care for their cat or dog in the best possible manner. About: I’m a professional pet sitter and Fear Free Certified. I’ve worked with pets of all ages, including seniors, reactive dogs, and those needing medication support. I’m trained in giving injections, oral medications and inhalers, and I also have rabbit care training and experience with small pets. I limit Rover bookings to ensure each pet receives attentive, personalized care. My goal is to provide low-stress, high-quality experiences rooted in patience, trust, and compassion. For overnight stays, I arrive between 6–8 PM and stay 12 hours to cover the evening, night, and morning routines. I also offer one 30-minute mid-day drop-in visit or walk upon request for overnight clients. For standalone drop-in visits or dog walks, I have more flexibility throughout the day and will do my best to accommodate preferred timing. For boarding in my home, I work from home but do come and go during the day for pet visits and meetings. I only accept dogs on a case-by-case basis because I have five cats. If accepted, we’ll keep their routine as consistent as possible, providing daily enrichment, affection, and supervision. I follow Fear Free principles to provide a safe, calm environment where pets can thrive. I avoid using or supporting tools that increase fear, anxiety, or stress — such as shock collars or electric fencing. In your home, I follow your pet’s routine as closely as possible while maintaining a peaceful, respectful environment. In my home, we only board dogs on a case-by-case basis due to having five cats, and I supervise all interactions carefully. Your pet’s emotional well-being and safety are always my top priorities.

About: I’m a lifelong dog lover and current pet parent to a 10-year-old terrier mix, so I understand the care, patience, and attention pets need at every stage of life. We take trips to Shelby Farms and occasionally visit Overton Park, and I truly enjoy staying active and engaged with dogs during walks and outings. Before my current dog, I cared for my previous dog for 11 years, giving me extensive experience with senior dogs, long-term routines, and recognizing changes in behavior or comfort. I love dogs of all sizes, ages, and energy levels—from playful puppies to older, calmer companions. I’ve also provided house sitting and pet sitting services for dogs and cats in Oxford, MS. I follow care instructions closely and focus on keeping pets comfortable, safe, and relaxed in their own environment. I’m happy to take dogs to nearby parks if requested and always prioritize your pet’s routine and well-being. Pet care is already part of my daily routine. As a dog owner, my days are structured around regular walks, outdoor time, feeding schedules, and check-ins, so adding client pets fits in seamlessly. We take daily walks and park visits, and I’m happy to adjust timing based on your pet’s normal routine. I build my schedule to allow for consistency and flexibility, whether that means morning, midday, or evening visits. I’m reliable with timing, comfortable following detailed instructions, and make sure pets receive the attention and care they need without feeling rushed. For house sitting and drop-ins, I plan my week around booked services to ensure each pet gets focused, unhurried care and plenty of attention. For drop-ins and dog walks, I keep things simple, dependable, and matched to your pet’s routine. During drop-ins, I take care of feeding, water, litter or potty breaks, and a little playtime or cuddles so your pet feels comfortable. For dog walks, I make sure your pup gets a safe, enjoyable stroll that fits their energy level. My goal is to show up like a good neighbor — reliable, caring, and right on schedule.
About: I got my first dog (Westley) when I was in middle school, I got a bunny (Puff Daddy) in college and my cousin has a cat (Mabel) that I occasionally pet sit. This diversity with animals makes me a great candidate I'm currently working part time as a substitute while in school, so I'll have plenty of time to cater to your pets needs and ensure the best care as possible. Within the designate area, supplied by you, I can make sure to clean up after your pet, keep them entertained, happy, fed and always with a tummy rub.
About: Hello! In addition to providing care for my own 'zoo' (currently 3 dogs and 3 cats), I worked in the Pet Care dept at Petsmart for 2 years and have fostered for the Humane Society of Memphis. As far as senior care, I was honored to help care for two of my 15-yr old dogs as theyvprepared to cross the Rainbow Bridge. They required daily medication and lots of tender love and care, including hand-made meals 😊 I do have a full-time job, but, when I'm with your pets, they are my priority. Unfortunately, I can only housesit on select weekends. I adjust my calendar to make sure I can devote the time and attention that your pets deserve. Due to my 'zoo', I can't care for any additional animals in my home at this time. I want pets to feel as comfortable as possible, so I will follow all instructions to the 'T'.
About: Hello, I'm Alex! I am a former Veterinary Technician with 3 years of training, and I've lived around animals my entire life. I have a strong passion for taking care of animals large and small. I am experienced in caring for cats, dogs, reptiles, rodents, insects, and many more! My wife, also named Alex, is a professional dog trainer and photographer. Between the two of us, we have years of knowledge regarding animal behavior and care-giving. We can guarantee that if you book with us, your pet will receive the highest quality comfort and safety. We're currently living in a small, quiet neighborhood just north of Memphis. Our house boasts a spacious backyard, with a gated enclosure for introducing new pets safely! We also have easy access to a patch of forest near our house, multiple small parks, and dog-friendly venues and restaurants! Aside from the usual necessities that every pet needs (food, water, and toys), our home is equipped with a variety of kennels, a secure dog bedroom, two litter boxes, and security cameras to ensure that no pets go unsupervised for too long. Our personal pet family consists of a 2yr old mixed-breed dog, adorable Dutch Shepherd puppy, two playful DSH cats, and two reptiles that live in terrariums. I'm a stay-at-home husband working around the clock to keep the house tidy, so your pets will have 24/7 care and affection! Dogs will receive bathroom breaks every 3 hours, supervised playtime in the morning and afternoon, as well as breakfast and dinner if they stay overnight. If your dog is allowed on furniture, let me know ahead of time and they can watch TV with us on the couch or snuggle up in bed! When I'm not at home, I will be helping my wife train dogs, running errands, or dropping into a client's home to look after their pet. We live in a cozy house with a spacious fenced-in backyard. Dog boarders will be able to play, run around outside, and spend quality time with us during the day. Cat boarders will have their own space to roam on the other side of the house, away from barking or loud noises. All dogs are kept separated in kennels while unsupervised, to minimize accidents and discourage bad behavior. We have experience mitigating and deescalating aggressive pet situations, so your dogs will receive top notch protection and security.
About: Hey Guys! I am looking to help with drop in visits and walks any time of the day or week! I am happy to hang with your pups or kitties whenever you are away! I have a very flexabile schedule. Just let me know what you need! Any time and day of the week. Please just let me know within 5 hours if you will not need me! I am happy to do a walk around the block, go to apartment dog parks, hang out in the back yard, or give lots of cuddles to your pet!
About: Animals are my ❤️. I treat your pets like my own so that you can have a worry free day. My priorities are that your pets are safe, healthy and happy. I own my own consultancy business that is remote. My hours are extremely flexible and that allows me to be available to meet your pet’s needs. Safety is my number one priority. I have gotten that call when a dog sitter has accidentally let my dogs out, so I know first hand how important safety is. I take extra precautions to make sure your animal is safe and healthy. For example, I like to enter the home through the garage, shutting the door behind me, so that when entering a home, the animal would be in the garage if it tried to dart out.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Egypt. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.
For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Egypt.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
