“Amy and her lovely family took Dude, my 1 yo male Lab, for a week. They assimilated him into their pack from day one and made him happy. She shared updates and pictures at least once a day. He’s a handful but they took it all in stride and with aplomb. I’ll def use them again for any of my dog sitting needs!!”

While he was in her care, she sent me photos and little tidbits of what he was doing and how he was adjusting to being with her and her girls. I was able to enjoy my trip because I felt that my Yuri was in good, loving hands. Thank you so very much, Jaclyn.”

Keyanna had excellent communication with us throughout the stay. She sent plenty of pics and videos to keep us updated. She definitely gave us a since of security after having a bad time at one of the local kennels. Lastly our pup is full of energy and hadn't been around other dogs before. Keyanna help us and our pup by introducing him to her dogs. She was awesome and we will definitely use and recommend her in the future.”

They loved on our pups as they were their own. I felt like they were at home there and didn't want to leave. All in all a great experience!! We will definitely be using them again!”

About: I have worked with all sorts of animals since I was 12 years old ranging from little puppies to even donkeys. I’m currently in college playing basketball and dog sitting as a side job to help me as I’m a full-time student athlete. My neighbors and friends always come to me first to take care of any kind of animal and I’m a deep cleaner so if any mess happens I’m there too clean it up and, I am able to wash dogs as well if needed. I can also administer a kind of medication if needed. My part-time work lets me easily fit pet care into my day with lots of walks, play, and snuggles. I am currently not available for boarding, but any kind of drop-in visits or walking I’m available at any time of the day. My part-time availability allows for a very hands-on and involved approach to pet care, ensuring my furry companions are well-exercised, stimulated, loved, and healthy. I do not have a fencing backyard, but I am always capable of walking your dog and making sure that they can be put in their crate or whatever the task maybe.
“Bethanie was so great with Ella! After having to board her for a week, Ella's demeanor was so different than any other time I have boarded at other places. She seemed excited to see me not anxious. Bethanie sent so many updates and pictures so I never had to worry! We will be returning for sure...I think she misses her new friend Hank!?”

“Davis was so accommodating. We made a very last minute request for boarding, due to a family emergency. He was so quick and kind about all the unknowns around our trip, and extended the stay without a problem. We got lots of pictures while we were away, and our dog looked so well-walked and loved that we genuinely wondered if she wouldn’t want to come home. We will definitely use him again. This was my first time using this service for my fur baby and our first time out of town without him. I was worried in the beginning and requested for photos to help ease my mind. Mary was great! She took such great care of my puppy while I was out of town. She was caring, reliable, and pretty much kept me updated throughout the rest of his stay. It was clear that she genuinely loves animals and treated my pup like one of her own. I truly appreciate everything she did and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate sitter. Thank you again!

Becky is an amazing dog sitter! She took excellent care of our dog and gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. It was obvious our dog was happy, well cared for, and loved during the stay. Becky is reliable, caring, and a pleasure to work with. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy pet sitter!

I'm very happy with the care my three dogs received from Letty. My two boys are always easy going but my girl needed more time. I'm glad Letty worked with her so she could relax, sleep, and eat. If Letty will have my fur babies again, I will be back. Thank you again for your help!

I had a great experience with Grayson! They were attentive, communicative, and clearly loves animals. They took wonderful care of my dog and kept me updated with messages and photos, which gave me a peace of mind while I was away. My dog seemed happy, relaxed, and well cared for when I got back. I would absolutely book with them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter. I felt completely comfortable leaving my dog in their care and would happily book again. Coach even left with a new toy that he loves!!

Eric watched our dog Nessie after a short notice request when it became clear we could not take her with us for our weeekend plans. Even though Erin had plans of her own for the weekend, she worked with us to make it work to watch Nessie. Her location was super close to our children's school so drop off was super easy. Her communication was great and she made sure to let us know if there was going to be a conflict with our times and we appreciate the communication and her ability to flex to watch Nessie. We will not hesitate to use her again. Thank you.

Anna was great! She spent time beforehand asking what our dogs needed to make sure they were comfortable when they got there. She was flexible with our timing and schedule, and one of our dogs kept running back into her house when we picked them up. We will definitely use Anna again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
