“Shabnam was an excellent sitter for our two doggos! You can tell she genuinely enjoys your pets' company, takes them on walks, and has a wonderful home for them to romp around in. Our new go-to pet sitter!”

“Very quick to respond to all messages. Very accommodating with pick up and drop off time. Received videos and photos of the pups with updates. Would recommend. Will be repeating visits!”

“Our sitter was amazing! Rodeliza took special care of our two pups. We got pictures and videos while we were out of town. Sophie and Sparky were being loved and they had so much fun playing with other dogs. When we got them home I think Sophie went into a depression state and was missing all the other dogs to play with. I would highly recommend her to anyone that is looking for a sitter.”

“Gage was great. I felt confident that Gage would take care of 75 pound Puppy as if it was his own. He sent me photos, video and narrative to let me know that my Giant Schnauzer was happy. He even played fetch with him which he truly loves. (Good exercise for him as well). This was my first time using ROVER, so I was little worried, but it was good. I’d would recommend Gage and I’d reserve him again.”

“This was our first time ever using Rover or even someone outside of our family to watch our sweet pups. Jaclyn was amazing!! She kept us up to date on how the pups were doing and sent us pictures. She was so communicative and attentive to our dog’s needs. We love Jaclyn, the pups loved Jaclyn, and we will continue to use her if the need arises!”

About: I have worked with all sorts of animals since I was 12 years old ranging from little puppies to even donkeys. I’m currently in college playing basketball and dog sitting as a side job to help me as I’m a full-time student athlete. My neighbors and friends always come to me first to take care of any kind of animal and I’m a deep cleaner so if any mess happens I’m there too clean it up and, I am able to wash dogs as well if needed. I can also administer a kind of medication if needed. My part-time work lets me easily fit pet care into my day with lots of walks, play, and snuggles. I am currently not available for boarding, but any kind of drop-in visits or walking I’m available at any time of the day. My part-time availability allows for a very hands-on and involved approach to pet care, ensuring my furry companions are well-exercised, stimulated, loved, and healthy. I do not have a fencing backyard, but I am always capable of walking your dog and making sure that they can be put in their crate or whatever the task maybe.

About: I have always loved animals and understand the importance of compassion, responsibility and trust when caring for pets. I volunteered for 10 years fostering lost and or abandoned pets. Fostering gave me valuable experience of understanding routines, medication instructions, providing companionship and attention to help pets feel comfortable and secure. I take pride in being responsible and trustworthy. Pets are safe, cared for and treated like family. Available full time! Retired, no children. Neighborhood park within walking distance. Feeding schedules and medication instructions followed. Photos of your pet provided during your absence. Fenced yard. Child free home. Crate provided if needed. Retired, now spending the next chapter of my life doing something I truly enjoy and feel passionate about-caring for animals.

“Kimberly was great and took such good care of our dogs! I appreciated the daily updates and pictures and it was so nice not to worry about them while we were gone. We'd definitely use Kimberly again!”

“Estefanie took great care of Victor for one day and everything went perfectly. She kept me updated the whole time with messages and photos, which gave me so much peace of mind. It was clear that Victor was in great hands. I would absolutely recommend Estefanie and would happily book with her again.”

“Tara was awesome!! So kind, and so good with our pups! She sent cute pictures of them while we were away, and took great care of them. Really appreciate the thoughtful touches like cleaning their beds and feet off when they got a little muddy, and giving them some extra love while they adjusted to a new place. Happy to finally find a place we know we can send our pups stress and worry free!”
“My sitter exceeded my expectations. She was loving and caring with my dog. Her demeanor paired well with his active and friendly personality. She kept me informed about his well being during his stay. I appreciated her updates since this was his first time with a sitter. I will continue to use her services in the future.”

“STOP WHAT YOUR DOING AND READ THIS!!! YOUR WORLD DEPENDS ON IT!! This guy is amazing!! Grayson took my baby girl in to his VERY nice home at the last minute on a Thursday without blinking an eye! He was so happy and seemed honored to take care of her while I was out of town. We did eventually speak on the phone right as she was about to be dropped off, (because I had to have someone take her there for me) but she was already locked in before we even knew each other. He sent videos, played with her, and even checked with me if it was ok if another dog was there!?!?! I was so relieved that he was that inviting and transparent. Of course my girl had a wonderful time and slept all night without even playing with her sister much. Her sister was with me. In short, if your using any other “boarding” overnight or having them put in some kennel with 100 other dogs, your prize best friend and family member is missing out on the best care they can get! It would be like dropping your child off at the Walmart for the weekend rather than sending them to the Four Seasons with a full secret service detail! Grayson is amazing and on point! Won’t even consider anyone else! If he is busy, I just won’t leave town! Thank you sooooo much Grayson for taking care of my whole world!!! And I’m sorry again for being late. 😐”

I have a non-fenced yard with lots of area to play and run. I have no animals of my own, so that is nothing to be concerned about. However, I don't own any crates or leashes to use with your pet.

“Maceson is the best sitter I have known. Jack (my dog) adores him and loves to go to Maceson’s house. The most recent stay was overnight boarding, and Jack did very well, this being his first time ever to stay all night away from home. Jack actually slept without incident and actually ate most of his food I had brought for him! I believe he did well because he knows and trusts Maceson!! Any dog who gets to spend time with Maceson is a very lucky dog, indeed! Maceson knows and understands dogs and their mindset and easily creates a bond with them. Wish I had known him sooner! Definitely give Maceson a try - you will not be disappointed. I give him a 10 out of 10 score!!!”

“The best sitters!! The kept us posted our entire trip with videos and pictures. Our pup was so happy at pickup and you could tell they really loved on him while we were gone. Couldn’t recommend enough!”

“I was so scared to find a pet sitter for my fur baby because he is a spoiled baby and he is really not sociable so he comes off as aggressive. I found Lori and she was absolutely amazing!!! She was so gentle with him and in no time Jax was following her around taking naps in her lap lol . She sent me picture and video updates throughout his entire stay which made me feel even more comfortable with Jax in care. I will most definitely be booking Lori the next time I need a sitter! ❤️”
“Nicole was great. She took wonderful care of Callie and provided daily updates with pictures. Callie doesn't like storms, but Nicole and her family made sure Callie felt safe. I would definitely leave Callie with Nicole again. :)”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Cordova
Becky took wonderful care of our dog, Kaimana, and we couldn't be happier with the experience. From the moment we met her, it was clear that she genuinely loves and understands dogs. Kaimana was happy, well cared for, and received plenty of attention and affection during his stay. Becky kept us informed and gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. We highly recommend Becky to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and dependable pet sitter!

I'm very happy with the care my three dogs received from Letty. My two boys are always easy going but my girl needed more time. I'm glad Letty worked with her so she could relax, sleep, and eat. If Letty will have my fur babies again, I will be back. Thank you again for your help!

I had a great experience with Grayson! They were attentive, communicative, and clearly loves animals. They took wonderful care of my dog and kept me updated with messages and photos, which gave me a peace of mind while I was away. My dog seemed happy, relaxed, and well cared for when I got back. I would absolutely book with them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter. I felt completely comfortable leaving my dog in their care and would happily book again. Coach even left with a new toy that he loves!!

Eric watched our dog Nessie after a short notice request when it became clear we could not take her with us for our weeekend plans. Even though Erin had plans of her own for the weekend, she worked with us to make it work to watch Nessie. Her location was super close to our children's school so drop off was super easy. Her communication was great and she made sure to let us know if there was going to be a conflict with our times and we appreciate the communication and her ability to flex to watch Nessie. We will not hesitate to use her again. Thank you.

Anna was great! She spent time beforehand asking what our dogs needed to make sure they were comfortable when they got there. She was flexible with our timing and schedule, and one of our dogs kept running back into her house when we picked them up. We will definitely use Anna again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
