“Rashad was great! My cat Mao had a great time getting all the cuddles he could while I was away, and Rashad was super patient and accommodating when I had to extend Mao’s stay by a day and a half due to unforeseen travel complications. This was a great boarding experience and I would absolutely book again. 10/10”

“Great! She was wonderful, she picked her up from my place so that she would not feel dropped off and abandoned. I received updates and photos so that I could rest assured she was in great care. My new and only sitter. A million thanks to you!”

“Nicole was absolutely wonderful with Atlas! She was incredibly caring and attentive to his needs, and I loved that she sent me updates throughout his stay. It made such a difference being able to see him happy and settled, giving me 100% confident that he was in great hands and being well taken care of the entire time! 🤍 Would recommend and book again.”

“Gage was amazing and took great care of my little Lexi. This was my first time leaving her so I was a little scared, but he was great with communicating with me. He kept me updated with videos and pictures throughout her stay. I would definitely use his service again.”

“I was able to book with Josef last minute, without hesitation she was so eager to meet my 2 girls and got us booked quickly. Price was right! She also kept us updated with messages and pictures. My girls had a blast with Josef. I felt confident leaving my girls with her. 10/10 recommended!!!”

“We recently boarded our two dogs, Sushi and Trixie, with Grayson for 10 days, and we couldn't be happier with the experience. From the very beginning, Grayson was sincere, friendly, and incredibly easy to communicate with. It gave us great peace of mind knowing our dogs were in good hands. Throughout their stay, Grayson sent us regular updates and adorable pictures, which truly reassured us. Sushi and Trixie looked happy, relaxed, and well cared for every time. When we picked them up, they were calm and content, which says a lot about the care and attention they received. We’re so grateful to have found someone as reliable and kind as Grayson. We’ll definitely be using his services again the next time we’re out of town, and we highly recommend him to anyone looking for trustworthy and loving dog care!”

“Pleased to find a repeat sitter for my Ellie girl! I will use every time they are available. Highly recommended for your fav 4 legged friends! She's happy to go & play w their Oreo.”

“We can’t say enough good things about Myla and Jordan. They helped care for Rooster for a last minute pinch we were in and reassured us he was in good hands. They truly love animals and are well experienced in providing a safe and caring environment. They hosted our pup for a staycation at their house and we will use them again if Rooster joins us again in Memphis.”

“Mary was wonderful! She checked in with me often, sent updates, and made sure my dog was happy and comfortable the whole time. It gave me such peace of mind knowing my pup was in good hands. Very kind, reliable, and caring—I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy sitter!”

“Wow. This was an absolutely great experience. I had a plan for my dog when I booked my trip. That plan fell through and Abby saved the day. Based on my flight schedules that had already been booked, I had to have two different people drop off and pick up my dog. She worked with the schedules, she worked with my neighbor and my mom, she was fast to respond, and they made sure my dog had plenty of play time. She sent pictures and updates throughout the trip which always made me feel really good while out of town. Easily my go-to dog sitter at any time going forward.”

About: I foster for the Humane society and other rescues. I know animal first aid. Degree in wildlife Biology. I have two dogs of my own, and one cat. I wake up at 7 and feed and walk everyone. After they are done eating we play or cuddle depending on the pets personality. Kittens and puppies eat lunch. If you want your pet to eat three meals please ask. Evening time around 7-8 is Dinner for everyone. Between these times is when there are short walks and play. I don't have a fenced yard yet. I have two dogs at home. One is a senior shih Tzu that only wants to lay around all day. The other is a Bull terrier that is kept outside or in the garage. He gets along with female dogs only so he will be kept away from most pets. I have a cat that loves everyone including dogs. I keep her claws trimmed just in case. If there is a accident I have quick clot and other first aid available.
“This was our first experience with Rover. Tommie & Chris were awesome with our senior dogs. We have one with Cushing's disease and he isn't doing so well these days. They welcomed our dogs in the 1st day, and us too. They were very prompt with answers to any questions we had. They sent multiple pictures and updates throughout the day. They loved on our pups as they were their own. I felt like they were at home there and didn't want to leave. All in all a great experience!! We will definitely be using them again!”

“Justin and his wife were absolutely fantastic with our three dogs. Easy communication, easy drop off, great experience, and they have a clean and welcoming home. Highly recommend.”
“Abby was an amazing boarder! She watched my babies for 3 days. She sent me updates frequently and made sure they were well taken care of! They both returned to us happy and tired!”

“Maddie is truly a gem! She was kind, attentive, and gave us total peace of mind from day one. Our sweet boy was visibly happy in every photo update she sent, and that says it all!! Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a wonderful sitter!!!”

“Mike was absolutely amazing with my pup Goldie. He was extremely accommodating to her needs, she has allergies and Mike administered her medication while she was in his care which is no easy task. Mike also has a wonderful backyard space that she loved to play in. Goldie was very well taken care of and Mike was sure to let me know with daily pictures and updates! Would definitely book again!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
