About: I have worked with all sorts of animals since I was 12 years old ranging from little puppies to even donkeys. I’m currently in college playing basketball and dog sitting as a side job to help me as I’m a full-time student athlete. My neighbors and friends always come to me first to take care of any kind of animal and I’m a deep cleaner so if any mess happens I’m there too clean it up and, I am able to wash dogs as well if needed. I can also administer a kind of medication if needed. My part-time work lets me easily fit pet care into my day with lots of walks, play, and snuggles. I am currently not available for boarding, but any kind of drop-in visits or walking I’m available at any time of the day. My part-time availability allows for a very hands-on and involved approach to pet care, ensuring my furry companions are well-exercised, stimulated, loved, and healthy. I do not have a fencing backyard, but I am always capable of walking your dog and making sure that they can be put in their crate or whatever the task maybe.

“Abby took great care of Rocky! I know he loved having a backyard and a wonderful pup playmate just like him. I appreciated that Abby contacted me often during his stay - as I am easily worried about this bad back! Thanks again for caring for him and letting him trade beds with your pup :)”
“Brett and Stephanie took exceptional care of my two dogs while we were on vacation. Since this was our first time using them, they meet us and our dogs days before to ensure we were comfortable in selecting them. Exceptional communication from the moment I reached out, until after the end of our dogs’ stay in their home. Pics and videos sent throughout each day. They offered the use of their kennel for our puppy so I didn’t have to load up and bring our own. They had toys for our dogs to play with on top of the personal ones we brought. My mind was at ease during our entire vacation, and I have to admit they seemed reluctant to leave when I came to pick them up and take them home!!! Will be using Brett and Stephanie from this point forward! And I know my dogs will look forward to visiting them again soon.”

“Kimberly was great and took such good care of our dogs! I appreciated the daily updates and pictures and it was so nice not to worry about them while we were gone. We'd definitely use Kimberly again!”

About: I have always loved animals and understand the importance of compassion, responsibility and trust when caring for pets. I volunteered for 10 years fostering lost and or abandoned pets. Fostering gave me valuable experience of understanding routines, medication instructions, providing companionship and attention to help pets feel comfortable and secure. I take pride in being responsible and trustworthy. Pets are safe, cared for and treated like family. Available full time! Retired, no children. Neighborhood park within walking distance. Feeding schedules and medication instructions followed. Photos of your pet provided during your absence. Fenced yard. Child free home. Crate provided if needed. Retired, now spending the next chapter of my life doing something I truly enjoy and feel passionate about-caring for animals.
About: I’m a lifelong dog lover who has been surrounded by dogs for as long as I can remember. Caring for them isn’t just something I do—it’s something I genuinely enjoy. I’ve owned and cared for dogs throughout my life, so I understand that every dog has their own unique personality, routine, and needs. Whether your pup loves long walks, endless games of fetch, or simply wants someone to cuddle up with while you’re away, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable. I treat every dog like they’re part of my own family, giving them plenty of attention, affection, exercise, and care. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet. I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages, so you can relax knowing your furry family member is in good hands. I’d love the opportunity to meet you and your pup and become someone you can count on whenever you need reliable, loving pet care! I am a stay at home mom with two little children. I am at home 90% of my day and weeks. When I am out of the house, I am not gone for more than two hours. I am able to attend to dogs and get them outside for playtime and potty breaks multiple times during the day, each day! I have a fenced in yard which allows safe play outside. I have full grass in the backyard as well as some shady areas for the dogs to run around! When the dogs are outside, I will be outside with them at all times.

About: What sets me apart is the genuine love, patience, and attention I give every dog in my care. I know every dog has a unique personality and routine, so I take the time to learn their needs and keep their schedule as consistent as possible. Whether it’s morning walks, feeding, potty breaks, or evening cuddles, I’m committed to maintaining each pet’s normal routine to help them feel comfortable and secure. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, my priority is making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I follow each pet’s regular routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, potty breaks, playtime, medication (if needed), and plenty of affection. I take the time to learn each pet’s personality, preferences, and any special instructions so they receive personalized care.
“This was my first time using this service, and it was an emergency. I'm really pleased with how easy it was and the quick responses from the sitters. Kayla took care of my pup and did an excellent job, providing fast communication and sending a few pictures and a video during my pup's stay. Thank you!”

“I highly recommend Merry and Wade! Mason felt at home while in their care! They sent many pictures and keep me updated. Mason also learned new playful skills from their house dog Tucker! I will definitely be using their services again.”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
