Animal lover/ former vet assistant!
I am a former kennel technician/veterinary assistant, with over 7 years of experience in the field of veterinary care. My thorough care and ability to remember each animals’ needs allowed me to excel in this position. Taking care of pets gives me the mental break and therapy I love, while allowing me to spend my free time helping others out as well. It’s a win/win! I’m comfortable with any age, breed or temperament. If any medications need given, I am confident with this as well. I can also take care of your aquatic or exotic animals feedings and any plants you may need watered as well! 🪴🐾🦎🐠

Shelby was so lovely and took great care of George! She sent tons of pictures and clearly my dog had a really fun time!
I wish it was possible to leave six stars because five is not enough to describe how GREAT Shelby's service was. Shelby was very nice/professional and very communicative. She sent many updates and pictures of Ocho while he was boarded in her home. Unfortunately, we ran into unexpected traffic/rain on our way home which delayed our pickup for Ocho and she was VERY understanding. Ocho actually seemed a little sad last night when we got home, I can tell he really enjoyed his stay. There are not enough thanks that we can send to Shelby she is so AWESOME. We will DEFINITELY be booking again!
Shelby did a fantastic job caring for my senior dog Noodle as if he were her own. She was communicative throughout the stay and promptly identified when he became ill and needed to go to the vet. She went above and beyond to make sure all his needs were met and I truly appreciate her 🤍
Shelby was absolutely awesome! She made my dog feel right at home immediately and took him on a great walk by the water. Her experience with animals is super apparent and made for a great drop off and pick up. I’ll definitely be booking again!

Harmonogram
I’m at home often, so I will be able to spend most of my time caring for any pets that may need anything. Any time, any day of the week I’m available.

By coming to a client’s home, I am hoping to provide the same routine and comfort level for the animal, while their owner is away. By saving the stress of a new environment, I will be able to stick to whatever schedule or requests each client expects of me. I feel in turn the pets will be so much happier and at ease. If they are boarding with me, I live in an apartment with a balcony and with a double fenced dog park/yard. The place is “puppy proofed” for any fur babies. I’m able to follow whatever routine and requests they would need at their own home. My house if your fur baby’s house when they are with me. :)

I love being outdoors, especially with a dog! Walking by the river is a hobby of mine, but also just in the neighborhood is fine too, for the older, or maybe not so adventurous, pup. Being around people is nice, but getting some fresh air in a not so crowded place is definitely ideal as well for some. Shelby farms is not too far away, as well.
