If I could give Avery more than five stars, I absolutely would! From the moment Bailey met her, I knew he was in caring hands. Avery has such a calm, kind, and genuine spirit, and it was clear that Bailey felt completely safe and loved with her. Throughout his stay, she kept me updated with thoughtful messages and beautiful photos, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. The true testament to the care she provided came when it was time to leave. Bailey ran back to her as she was leaving, and it was obvious he wasn’t ready to say goodbye. As any dog parent knows, you can’t fake that kind of bond. It speaks volumes about the love, patience, and attention she gave him. Hearing that her family enjoyed having Bailey as part of their home made my heart smile. It was comforting to know he wasn’t just being watched, he was welcomed, loved, and treated like family. Avery, thank you for caring for Bailey as if he were your own. Your compassion, responsibility, and love for animals shine through in everything you do. I have complete confidence in you and would trust you to watch Bailey again without hesitation. I hope you know that the kindness you share with animals and their families makes a real difference, and I have no doubt that it will take you far in whatever path you choose. Avery has taken excellent care of our cats over the last ten years. She follows our very detailed directions on the different types of food they eat and is perfectly comfortable handling meds of all kinds. Val tells us she gives the best ear scratches, and Serafina will assure your cats that her lap is super comfy! Avery will also send you pictures to show you all the fun they are having with her. Would recommend her without reservation to care for your cherished pets.

Avery is so amazing with my fur baby! I have had her watch my golden retriever many times while going out of town for weeks on end and I always knew he was in the best care! Monkey gets so excited when he sees Avery, almost like he’s ready for me to go somewhere again to spend time with her! She’s very intentional and good at updating me multiple times a day. You can be sure your fur baby will be in the best hands while staying with Avery!

On multiple occasions, Avery has taken care of my dogs who are thrilled whenever they see her. Avery is a responsible individual who has always been engaging with both of my 80+ pound labs (& it takes a lot of energy to keep them entertained!). Avery alleviated any stress I had related to the dogs on my wedding night as she cared for them as if they were her own. I highly recommend Avery to care for your pets - she’ll go above and beyond any expectations!

Avery has been an incredible dog walker. She’s consistently reliable and always shows up when expected, which gives great peace of mind. Her communication is exactly what you’d want—she keeps you informed when needed without overdoing it. Most importantly, the dogs absolutely love her and get genuinely excited every time they see her. Avery Alfama has been my best friend for the past five years. Throughout these five years, we have always shared a bond over our love for animals, on top of being there for each other through the loss of both of our dogs. I've never seen Avery as a "dog person" or "cat person"; she has always made it obvious that she is a lover of all furry friends, and I cannot think of someone better to care for pets.
