Animal Lover w/ Vet Tech Experience
Hello! My name is Laney and I have a biology degree and was a veterinarian technician for almost 2 years. I am currently a PhD candidate in Biology at Ole Miss. I have always had animals and worked with animals everyday. I am able to administer medication and know vital signs to watch out for when caring for fur babies. I understand that everyone has their own rules for their pets and that those rules need to be followed regardless of my personal rules for my pets. I also respect other people’s homes and do not overstep boundaries. I prefer to be left specific instructions when caring for people’s pets and homes to insure the proper care of both. I look forward to building trusting relationships for clients to rely on when they need someone to watch over their homes and babies. I have classes throughout the day but should also be able to return home to walk if needed as I’m not far from the university. My schedule is subject to change, but I can update accordingly. My spouse often helps with boarding and walking requests. He was a kennel technician at the same place I was a vet tech, so he is able to administer meds as well. If I am unavailable, my spouse might be able to step in.

Schedule
My schedule is pretty consistent once school starts. However, it does change every semester and I do have research that may adjust my plans. Usually I am able to run home at least once a day and am free on the weekends and evenings.
