“Showed up every day taking great care of our sweet cat. Handled everything for us and even did extra things such as bring in the mail and packages. Kept us in the loop the entire time we were gone!”

“We were halfway through our vacation when our dog sitter canceled—panic! We found Rover, booked Emily last minute, and it was the best experience ever. She had amazing reviews, was local, and available right away. Booking was quick and easy, and Emily kept us updated with photos and happy tails every visit. Our pups loved her drop-in visits, and we came home to very happy dogs.”

“Halie was OUTSTANDING! She was punctual and there at the same time every day, which I really appreciated! She was very thorough with her notes and pictures, and with her descriptions of Marcel's behavior and patterns-so I was comfortable that she was taking time with him and responding to his "signals"! She played with him and made sure he got some exercise chasing his laser. He also got his treats every day (What's more important than THAT?!). She even brought in my mail and newspaper to avoid inviting anyone seeing the indications that "no one's home"! I really could not have had a better person to watch my little buddy in my absence, and I HIGHLY recommend Halie-she takes her services seriously, is a pleasure to deal with, and I will request her from now on any time I need to be away for a few days and want to be sure Marcel is in excellent hands!”

“Kari went above and beyond while watching Wyatt and Fritz. My AC broke while I was out of town and she brought a portable unit to keep the house comfortable for the dogs and made extra trips to check on them. Plus the dogs absolutely loved her.”

About: I have 3 large dogs of my own, with a variety of personality and health traits that has made me very comfortable around any dog! My smallest is a 47 lb mutt with the cutest face and massive anxiety. My largest 2 are approx 75 lb mutt and a 90 lb Great Dane mix, both with leash reactivity issues. All of this to say, all of our babies need loved in the ways that fit them best! I am comfortable handling your babies and their uniqueness in the way that you instruct and have found to work best. I am also comfortable with oral medication administration. I do work full time, but usually from home. I can accommodate morning and evening drop in visits or walks. On occasion, I may be able to do mid-day visits too. As pet parents, we know our babies better than anyone else. I will care for your fur-kids in the way that you instruct and have deemed appropriate! Every pet is different, just like people, and deserve to be treated uniquely.

About: Hi! I'm your local Sanford pet sitter/walker. I have over 20 years of experience caring for dogs, cats, hamsters, small domesticated birds, and chickens. In my home, your dog will have a place to relax, play, and be happy. Your pup won’t just be a guest—they’ll be family. No cramped kennels or long hours alone. They’ll have the run of the house, plenty of outdoor time, belly rubs, treats, and all the love they could ask for. Need to book last minute? If I’ve got the space, I’m happy to make it work! I also offer house-sitting, drop-in visits, pick-up/drop-off, and dog walking, within range of service. A brief Meet & Greet is required prior to sitting for all new clients to assure compatibility. Every morning we take walks and frequently a second walk after work. Since I work remotely and am home nearly all the time, your dog will always have company and attention throughout the day. We have a limit of 3 dogs so your dog gets the full care and attention it needs. We have policies in place to make sure dogs, who are escape artists, aren’t able to make a run for it, we space feeding time and walking time as research has shown eating prior to a meal can cause bloating and other complications. It’s my mission your dog is safe at all times so you can worry less when your dog is not with you.

“What a great experience with Serena! I had absolutely no problem leaving my babies and home under her care. She’s got a great touch with animals and great energy. It’s so refreshing to find an honest and trustworthy person. Every visit was on time and I received texts and photos that helped me feel at ease during my time away from home. Would absolutely recommend!”

“Stephanie has done a fantastic job watching our cat Opal and keeping an eye on our house. We have booked her at least three time so far and plan to do so every time we travel. She has excellent communication, is very flexible, and truly loves caring for animals. I give her my very highest recommendation. She's a true gem and wonderful pet sitter!”

“Diamond took good care of our cat for 6 days over the holiday. She made sure our cat had water, food, a clean litter box and cleaned up after her. I will definitely use her again when we go on vacation.”

About: I've been caring for pets since I was 15, helping family and friends with everything from daily walks to giving medications. I’m confident with all aspects of pet care—feeding, bathing, playing, and making sure your pet feels safe and loved while you’re away. I treat every animal like they’re my own, with patience, reliability, and lots of belly rubs. Whether it’s a quiet cuddle or an energetic walk, I adapt to your pet’s needs and routines to keep them happy and healthy. I work part-time at the hospital just two days a week and the rest of my time is focused on nursing school, which offers flexibility in my schedule. Caring for animals is something I genuinely enjoy and find relaxing, so I make time for it throughout the week. Whether it’s early morning walks, afternoon playtime, or evening check-ins, I plan my day to make sure pets in my care get the attention, love, and consistency they need. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, I always aim to create a safe, comfortable, and stress-free environment. I follow the pet’s routine as closely as possible—feeding, walking, and administering medications on schedule. I take the time to learn each pet’s personality and preferences, whether that’s extra playtime, a cozy cuddle, or just some quiet companionship. In a client’s home, I respect their space and keep everything clean and tidy, just like they left it. I send regular updates and photos so owners feel connected and reassured. My goal is to make each pet feel secure and loved while their owner is away.

“Jason was able to drop in and let my dogs out on very short notice. We did a meet and greet and I thought he was genuine and good with my dogs. He was eager to learn the routines of my animals and made me feel very comfortable leaving them in his care. He is receptive to watching both cats and dogs even those with special needs. I do have a dog that is on medication and wears a diaper/belly band. He did not shy away from learning new stuff. I have since booked him for house sitting with my animals over the holidays.”

“Sarah did an amazing job! She was so attentive to our furry family and uploaded cute pictures throughout the weekend of how everyone was doing. Thank you so much, we'll definitely be booking her for any future pet needs 👍”

“Shea was so awesome and such a lifesaver for us for our dog when we went on vacation this summer! I really wanted her to stay home since she's 8 and is more comfortable in her own environment. Shea was exactly who we needed! She was great with our dog and relayed images and check-ins with us regularly which I appreciated. She took the time to schedule in affection every day with our dog which is huge for our boxer mix. Such a nice sitter; she even helped me with some vegetables that were fruiting while we were gone which was so thoughtful! We will definitely be using Shea for all of our future dogsitting needs.”

“Jessica was phenomenal! She did drop in visits to take care of our cats while we were out of town and she was so attentive and caring. We really appreciated her kindness and thorough care, and she took some extra time to help couple of our kitties who are hesitant around new people get more comfortable with her which was awesome. Thank you, Jess! You’re awesome. ?”
